Hero Fiennes Tiffin (The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare) will reprise his role as the world’s most famous fictional detective in a new season of Young Sherlock. Prime Video’s officially renewed the mystery series for season two and confirmed Guy Ritchie’s returning as director and executive producer.
Season one premiered on March 4, 2026. The streamer hasn’t announced a target date for season two or revealed a cast list. In addition to Hero Fiennes Tiffin, the first season starred Dónal Finn (The Wheel of Time), Zine Tseng (3 Body Problem), Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale), Natascha McElhone (Halo), Max Irons (Condor), and Colin Firth (Lockerbie: A Search for Truth).
“Young Sherlock has that rare magic—millions of fans around the world aren’t just watching a detective story, they’re falling in love with the origin of an icon,” said Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television, Amazon MGM Studios. “Guy Ritchie and Matthew Parkhill have cracked the code on making Sherlock’s early years feel fresh, dangerous, and utterly addictive and have introduced a compelling take on James Moriarty that sets the stage for what’s to come. We can’t wait to see where they take him next in season two.”
Showrunner Matthew Parkhill created the series and serves as an executive producer along with Marc Resteghini, Dhana Rivera Gilbert, Simon Maxwell, Ivan Atkinson, Simon Kelton, Colin Wilson, and Harriet Creelman.
Prime Video hasn’t released a synopsis of season two. Season one’s synopsis reads:
“When a charismatic, youthfully defiant Sherlock Holmes meets none other than James Moriarty, he finds himself dragged into a murder investigation that threatens his liberty. Sherlock’s first-ever case unravels a globe-trotting conspiracy, leading to an explosive showdown that alters the course of his life forever. Unfolding in a vibrant Victorian England and adventuring abroad, the series exposes the early antics of the anarchic adolescent who is yet to evolve into Baker Street’s most renowned resident.”

Young Sheldon star Iain Armitage pops in to guest star on CBS’s Ghosts season five, episode 16. Directed by Cortney Carillo, episode 16 – “Woodstone Royale” – will air on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 8:30pm ET/PT.
“Woodstone Royale” Plot: Needing to raise a large sum of money to pay the IRS, Sam and Jay agree to host a high-stakes poker game at the mansion. Meanwhile, in an act of generosity, Sass and Pete gift Jay’s recliner to the basement ghosts.
Season five stars Rose McIver as Sam, Utkarsh Ambudkar as Jay, Brandon Scott Jones as Isaac, and Richie Moriarty as Pete. Danielle Pinnock is Alberta, Asher Grodman is Trevor, Román Zaragoza stars as Sasappis, Rebecca Wisocky plays Hetty, Devan Chandler Long is Thorfinn, and Sheila Carrasco plays Flower.
Ghosts is a single-camera comedy about Samantha and Jay, a cheerful freelance journalist and chef from the city, respectively, who threw both caution and money to the wind when they decided to convert Woodstone Mansion, which Sam inherited, into a bed & breakfast—only to find it was inhabited by the many spirits of deceased residents who now call it home.
The departed souls are a close-knit, eclectic group that includes a saucy Prohibition-era lounge singer (Pinnock); a pompous 18th-century militiaman (Scott Jones); a ‘60s hippie fond of hallucinogens (Carrasco); an overly upbeat ‘80s scout troop leader (Moriarty); a cod-obsessed Viking explorer from 1009 (Chandler Long); a slick ‘90s finance bro (Grodman); a sarcastic and witty native from the 16th century (Zaragoza); and a society woman and wife of a 19th-century robber baron who is Sam’s ancestor (Wisocky), to name a few.
The opening of the B&B and Jay’s new restaurant are a source of intrigue, anxiety, and curiosity among the spirits, but they will gladly put up with the commotion as long as they can continue to interact with a living inhabitant.
Netflix and Alan Ritchson (War Machine) are developing a new survival competition series set in the wilderness. The untitled series has reality series veteran Jay Bienstock (Survivor, The Apprentice) on board as executive producer and showrunner.
Ritchson is also involved as an executive producer and will guide participants through the survival competition.
Netflix’s announcement revealed the series will feature high-profile influencers as well as headline makers. “With all the comforts and luxuries of modern-day life stripped away, the players will have to rely on their instincts, determination, and each other to outlast the competition and discover who they are without fame and followers,” reads Netflix’s series description. “Do they have what it truly takes to endure? Will they risk losing their carefully curated personas in the process? And who will break first under the pressure?”
Additional executive producers include Julie Pizzi, Rupert Dobson, and Gayani Wanigaratne.
Netflix’s one-minute teaser for the reboot of Little House on the Prairie shows the Ingalls family making the journey from the Wisconsin woods to the titular location. The family-friendly series, based on the beloved classic novel by Laura Ingalls Wilder, has landed a July 9, 2026 streaming premiere date.
The Ingalls family is played by Luke Bracey as Charles, Crosby Fitzgerald as Caroline, Alice Halsey as Laura, and Skywalker Hughes as Mary. Warren Christie is John Edwards, Jocko Sims is Dr. George Tann, Meegwun Fairbrother plays Mitchell, Alyssa Wapanatâhk is White Sun, Wren Zhawenim Gotts is Good Eagle, and Xander Cole is Little Puma.
“Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical Little House books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier,” reads Netflix’s synopsis.
Rebecca Sonnenshine (The Boys, Vampire Diaries) guides the series as showrunner and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Joy Gorman Wettels for Joy Coalition, Trip Friendly for Friendly Family Productions, and Dana Fox. Sarah Adina Smith, Julie Anne Robinson, Kat Candler, Erica Tremblay, and Sydney Freeland direct the eight-episode season.

Charlie Hunnam and Matthew Macfadyen star in ‘Legacy of Spies’ (Photo Credits: Jenny Anderson, Josh Wool / Provided by MGM+)
Production’s begun on the first-ever television adaptation of John le Carré’s The Spy Who Came in from the Cold and A Legacy of Spies. Emmy winner Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) and Charlie Hunnam (Monster: The Ed Gein Story) lead the cast of BBC and MGM+’s Legacy of Spies, with Macfadyen playing George Smiley and Hunnam as Alec Leamas.
The series also stars Daniel Brühl as Josef Fiedler, Devrim Lingnau Islamoğlu as Doris Quinz, Agnes O’Casey as Liz Gold, Felix Kammerer as Hans-Dieter Mundt, Dan Stevens as Bill Haydon, Jake Dunn as Peter Guillam, and Safia Oakley-Green as Molly Gibson. Ariyon Bakare plays Cy Aflon, Saskia Rosendahl is Lotte Gamp, Patrick Güldenberg is Dr. Karl Riemeck, and Volker Bruch is Emmanuel Rapp.
MGM+ released the following synopsis:
“When Alec Leamas (Hunnam), a highly experienced Circus field operative, recruits Doris Quinz (Lingau Islamoğlu), a young and dynamic East German woman, to smuggle high-value Stasi documents into the West, it sets in motion a series of events that threaten to explode in the crucible of Cold War Berlin. Pursuing Leamas and Doris are Josef Fiedler (Brühl) and Hans-Dieter Mundt (Kammerer), two Stasi operatives whose ferocious desire to shut down the intelligence leak is matched only by their internal rivalry and an iron will to outmatch each other.
Pulled into the action is Liz Gold (O’Casey), an idealistic young woman whose courage and conviction force Leamas to navigate a world where loyalties fracture and betrayal is inevitable. Behind the scenes, the brilliant and taciturn spymaster George Smiley (Macfadyen) orchestrates operations while the elusive Soviet mastermind Karla looms in the shadows, setting the stage for a conflict that will define a generation. Personal lives become collateral in a ruthless intelligence war, and as the lines between duty and love begin to blur, every emotion becomes a weapon.”
Commenting on his starring role, Matthew Macfadyen said, “This is a timeless and very timely story about espionage, power, and morality. I am hugely thrilled and not a little daunted to be playing George Smiley—this quiet, intelligent, and deeply private man. And delighted to be stepping into le Carré’s world in the company of such talented actors and producers.”
The eight-episode series is written by Stephen Cornwell (Message from the King) and Clarissa Ingram, who serve as co-showrunners. Michael Lennox is the lead director and executive producer.
“I’m so excited to be part of this incredible project and to be working alongside Matthew Macfadyen and such an exceptional cast, as well as having the opportunity to play such an iconic character. Leamas isn’t a traditional hero. He is worn down by the work, shaped and eroded by it over time, which is what makes him so compelling,” stated Hunnam. “Le Carré explored the personal toll of a life in espionage and what happens when the line between professional duty and something more personal begins to blur. It’s the humanity at the heart of this story that makes it so powerful and resonant.”
Stephen Cornwell, Graham Yost, Simon Cornwell, Michele Wolkoff, Malte Grunert, Chris Rice, Matthew Macfadyen, Charlie Hunnam, Joe Tsai, Susanne Bier, and Mike Lesslie are also executive producers. Additional executive producers include Nick Cornwell for the John le Carré estate and Gaynor Holmes and Nick Lambon for BBC.
Legacy of Spies is produced by The Ink Factory, in co-production with Amusement Park Film and in association with 127 Wall Productions and Paramount Television Studios, for the BBC and MGM+.

CBS’s Tracker continues its very violent third season with episode 16, airing on April 12, 2026. (What is Colter’s body count thus far?) Episode 16 begins with an injured man begging for his life, leading into Randy (Chris Lee) calling Colter (Justin Hartley) about the case of the week. The injured man is electrician Finn Helms, and he went missing after work last night.
(The following is a recap of season three, episode 16—”Struck”—and there are spoilers.)
Finn’s eight-month pregnant wife, Grace, offered $10,000 and Colter agrees to head to Buffalo, New York. Grace (Natalie Jane) explains Finn’s not answering his phone, no one has heard from him, and he missed their eight-month ultrasound. She shows off the baby’s room to prove Finn was really looking forward to their child’s arrival. He put everything in it together himself.
Colter goes through a bag of Finn’s and finds a bloody cloth. Grace doesn’t know why it’s bloody but admits he gets hurt a lot at work. Colter decides he’ll start the search at Finn’s work. Before he leaves, Grace confesses they don’t have much money, but she’s putting together a payment for his help.
Meanwhile, Reenie (Fiona Rene) is surprised to see Mark the bartender in her office. (They slept together but don’t have a relationship.) Turns out he’s a brand rep for a mezcal company, not a bartender, and he’s in town for a product launch. Mark asks her out but Reenie declines, claiming she’s too busy. Mark accepts her no but tells her where he’s staying, just in case.
Colter shows up at the job site and Finn’s boss says he fired him two months ago. Finn had been stealing items, so he let him go. Doyle, one of Finn’s former co-workers, waits until the boss is gone to explain that Finn was taking jobs off PowerUp, an app they use to get extra work. Not every job there is above board. Finn reached out last night to see if Doyle wanted to help him with a job, but Doyle had a date.
Fortunately, Finn mentioned the address and that’s Colter’s next stop. There’s a ladder leaning on an electrical pole, Finn’s van is parked nearby, and there are two sets of tools at the base of the pole. Colter climbs up and the electric box is still open. He looks around from that vantage point and can see into one house.
Colter fills in Randy and reveals he thinks the job was stealing information by tapping into fiber. There’s melted rubber on the ladder, indicating someone was electrocuted. Randy taps into a nearby security camera and they see people taking a body in a tarp to a truck. Randy tracks the truck but loses it. There are woods and undeveloped lots the way it was heading so they may have dumped the body.
Colter heads that way and spots a truck down a side road. It matches the one that Randy was tracking, and there’s a bloody glove in it. Although it’s been hours since the truck drove away from the job Finn was working, the two men have only now finished digging a grave to drop the body into. Colter calls out to them and neither of them are Finn. And unfortunately for them, they brought shovels to a gun fight. Colter has one of them crawl into the hole and show him the body. The man’s been electrocuted, but it’s definitely not Finn.
They claim the guy was a random tweaker they picked up to help them on the job. He touched a transformer and died. The men blame the victim for not paying attention to their instructions. Finn was there and freaked out, but the guy who hired them, Paolo, convinced him not to call the cops. Paolo was supposed to take Finn out for beers but may have taken him to a building he owns downtown instead.
After calling in the dead body, Colter makes it to Paolo’s building and finds blooddrops outside and near the door handle. The door’s unlocked and he discovers Paolo (Robert Daprocida), injured but alert. He confesses he was just trying to scare Finn, but Finn fought back hard. He shot him, but Finn made it outside. Just as Paolo was going to shoot him again, a speeding truck hit him. That’s how he received his injuries. Paolo describes the driver as a “crazy chick” that Finn definitely knew. The woman wasn’t pregnant, so it wasn’t Grace.
Colter tells Randy he thinks Finn was having an affair. Randy hacks Finn’s PowerUp account and sees messages between Finn and Adelle Mucino. Adelle hired him for a job, but the messages are personal. Randy digs further and learns they met three years ago on a dating app when Finn and Grace were on a break. There hasn’t been contact between them since, until she hired him a few weeks ago for a job.
The action switches to Adelle and Finn, and they’re definitely in the same house, but it doesn’t seem Finn (Chad Michael Collins) is there by choice. Adelle (Lyndon Smith) is taking care of his injuries and didn’t call the cops to tell them he was shot. Not even Grace knows where he is, and Adelle wants to keep it that way. Finn isn’t just her patient; he’s her prisoner.
Night falls by the time Colter arrives at Adelle’s house. He breaks in and discovers Adelle is obsessed with Finn, writing her name as if they were going to marry and creating fake wedding invitations. A journal shows she thought about him constantly, and the calendar reveals she was tracking his movements. Adelle even replaced Grace’s face in a wedding photo and has it framed in her living room.
Reenie discovers Adelle has a history of stalking and attacking her ex’s. She was even locked up for it in a psychiatric facility. Colter thinks she intervened in Finn’s fight with Paolo, and Finn isn’t voluntarily with her now. He spots a home rental brochure for a place she manages and wonders if she took Finn there.
Finn attempts to break out of his restraints, but Adelle catches him. She reminds him of their first date and thinks they had something special from the get-go. Finn broke her heart when he went back to Grace. She thought about killing herself but decided to wait and see if he’d come back to her.
She mistakenly reveals she’s seen the inside of his house. And she deliberately hired him for a job, so they’d reconnect. Adelle insists he’s safe now and they can start over. Finn thanks her but can’t leave Grace and his unborn baby. Adelle asks, “What if Grace had an accident? It happens all the time.”
Finn finally realizes exactly how crazy she is. Adelle is furious and grabs a gun.
Reenie’s working late and sends Mel (Cassady McClincy Zhang) home for the night. Mel wonders if she’s going to dinner with Mark, but Reenie’s too busy. We finally get more details on Mel when she confesses she used to run track to outrun the grief after her mom died. However, she tore her ACL and had to stop running. Reenie understands her point about not pushing yourself too hard but insists this is how she prefers handling things. But she promises to relax soon.
Colter breaks into the house in the brochure, gun drawn. He rushes upstairs when he hears banging and breaks through a door. Finn’s tied to the bed and gagged, and Colter quickly frees him. Finn believes Adelle is on her way to kill Grace.
Grace answers the door and Adelle claims she found Finn on the side of the road. She offers to take Grace to Finn, and Grace immediately agrees. Unfortunately, Grace leaves her phone behind. Fortunately, they have a door camera and Finn watches as Grace leaves with Adelle. Colter asks Finn to think about a place that’s special to Adelle. It might be where she’s taking Grace. They got stranded on a bridge on their first date so that’s probably where Adelle is heading.
Grace begs for her unborn baby as Adelle holds her at gunpoint. Adelle orders her to step on the railing just as Colter arrives. She holds Grace at gunpoint, so Colter won’t shoot. Finn walks up and claims he loves Grace more than anything in this world. She can kill him, too, if she kills Grace.
Grace makes a move and gets away from Adelle. Colter orders her to put the gun down but instead Adelle climbs on the railing, ready to kill herself since she can’t have Finn. She’s still got her gun, but Colter puts his down and asks that they talk. Adelle apologizes and lets herself fall. Colter’s lightning fast and snatches her hand before she plummets to her death.
Reenie shows up at Mark’s hotel room and wants to have sex before going to dinner and really getting to know him.
Colter pops in on Grace and Finn as Finn’s busy working on the baby’s room. Colter hands them an owl he carved for the baby, and Grace gives Colter his reward payment. Of course, Colter doesn’t accept it. He’s just happy that they’re both fine and suggests they add it to the baby’s college fund.
Episode 16 ends with Randy informing Colter he found info on the Chronostatis Institute that’s connected to Colter’s dad, Ashton. Colter asked him to research it earlier in the episode, and Randy reveals David Pearson’s name kept popping up. He even found a purchase of plane tickets to Alaska for Ashton and David, just four months before Ashton died. That means Ashton and David were still working together when they went to Copper Valley, Alaska. Government subcontractors were also in the area at the same time.
Colter thanks Randy and says, “I know what I have to do.”
Kayce works with Monica’s wild mustang but doesn’t seem to be accomplishing much as CBS’s Marshals episode seven opens. Dolly Weaver shows up unexpectedly, giving Kayce (Luke Grimes) an excuse to wrap up the training. He’d sort of promised a tour of the area, and Kayce’s a man of his word.
(The following is a recap of episode seven, “Family Business,” and there are spoilers.)
Dolly (Ellyn Jameson) loves the area, and Kayce points out a spot where he stole Jamie’s clothes and made him ride home naked. (It’s kind of a shock to hear Kayce laugh at a memory of Jamie.) The small talk continues, and Kayce compliments her riding skills.
They make it back to East Camp and Dolly’s dad, Tom (Chris Mulkey), joins them with a hat for Kayce from his ranch. Kayce’s happy to see Tom’s back on his feet, and Tom reveals he shot an elk and wants to cook it for Kayce. Kayce accepts the offer, knowing it’s not worth trying to argue with a Weaver.
Tom’s a good cook and the conversation mostly centers on ranching. Tom’s a believer in new technology; Kayce prefers the old ways. Kayce thinks Tom would get along with Beth, because they are both laser-focused on the bottom line. Things get a bit chilly when Tom asks to buy East Camp. Kayce cuts the dinner short and after Tom leaves, Dolly claims she was blindsided by her dad. She apologizes and thanks him for the lovely day. She hugs him and attempts a kiss, but he pulls away.
Cal’s day starts off with a visit to his doctor, who wants to do some tests on his neck and shoulder pain that Cal’s experiencing. When he’s leaving, Cal (Logan Marshall-Green) spots Belle’s husband, Jared (Eddie Aguirre), with another woman.
Miles (Tatanka Means), Belle (Arielle Kebbel), and Andrea (Ash Santos) relax at the bar after work, drinking and playing pool. Sabrina pops in and Miles introduces her to his “teammates.” Andrea’s surprised when Sabrina describes Miles’ football career. She had no idea Miles was an All-State tight end and linebacker. He also had a full ride to a D1 program, but his career ended too quickly after he and the coach butted heads.
A new workday begins with a new case for the team. Someone placed a car bomb in Judge Pauline Ayers’ car, and it was only a lucky fluke that she and her husband survived. A valet was killed in the explosion. Clint Gallo, a bomber who Judge Ayers sentenced to prison and was just paroled, is a likely suspect. He missed a check-in with his parole officer last week and threatened the judge 10 years ago.
Andrea and Kayce will hunt the ex-con while Belle, Cal, and Miles protect the judge and her family.
Pauline, her husband, Blake, and their daughter Fallon aren’t thrilled about being in lockdown but handle it fairly well. Blake jokes about the number of threats his wife receives, and Pauline asks Belle if her husband, Jared (a dentist), gives her a hard time about her job. Cal doesn’t mention seeing Jared with another woman, as Belle confirms it’s a constant negotiation with her husband over their jobs.
Fallon’s not her mom’s biggest fan and they disagree about everything. Cal whispers to Belle, wondering if they should say something. (He’s basically wondering if he should tell Belle he saw Jared.) Belle believes family drama should stay within the family. She’s confused about Cal’s interest in the family dynamics.
Fallon looks out of one of the large windows and Cal screams at her to stop. Suddenly, shots ring out and the window shatters. Belle covers Pauline’s body and Cal protects Fallon until the shooting ends.
Andrea and Kayce find Clint (Joshua Dov) at his girlfriend’s house, and he makes a run for it. Andrea’s a badass and knocks him into a trash bin and Kayce’s impressed. They bring him in and Clint insists he was at his girlfriend’s place. He suggests there isn’t a shortage of people who want Judge Ayers dead, but he didn’t kill her.
Belle and Miles check out the area and determine the shots were fired from a parking garage across the way. The shooter was gone when they arrived, and they didn’t leave bullet casings behind. Miles has asked for the security footage. Belle wonders if Clint has guns, and Cal confirms Clint’s in custody and couldn’t have been the shooter. Which means he’s probably not the bomber.
The team turns over the crime scene to the local police and Miles volunteers to stay behind. Cal wants to move the family, and Pauline believes her husband and daughter can be taken somewhere safe, away from her and the line of fire.
Cal thinks Kayce’s ranch is the perfect hideout spot.
Cal and Andrea bring Fallon and Blake to Kayce’s and it’s obvious that Blake is aware of the Dutton family. He tells his daughter that they’re in good hands with Kayce Dutton. Kayce and Cal believe the person who’s trying to kill Pauline has a military background. And, strangely, the bomb used is most often seen in the African Sahel. Cal’s having someone look through the judge’s cases and flag anyone she convicted who was in the military.
Miles learns a red van was seen entering and leaving the parking garage. The local cops also discovered passports Blake owns with an alias. Why would a guy who runs a non-profit need fake passports?
Cal and Belle return to the station and Belle confirms that Blake didn’t use the fake passports to travel. He used them for secret financial transactions that moved to and from Equatorial Guinea, which is the same place the bomb type traced back to. Cal thinks he’s a suspect and may have put a hit on his wife.
Over at East Camp, Blake steps outside to get better cell service. Fallon confesses to Andrea and Kayce that she’s having a tough time dealing with someone trying to kill her mom. Andrea says they can relate; both her and Kayce’s dads were killed because of their jobs. They haven’t found Andrea’s dad’s killer and finding him is what motivates her. No one outside the family knows who killed John Dutton, so to the world, his death is unsolved. Kayce insists he doesn’t think about it much.
Kayce steps away when Cal calls with an update about Blake. Cal’s sure Blake’s shady and could have ordered the hit, and he asks Kayce to try and get Blake to talk. Kayce steps outside and discovers that Blake has vanished.
Pauline’s shocked to learn he’s gone and even more shocked when Cal says he left on his own. Pauline’s surprised that her husband has passports with different aliases. Security footage from Kayce’s shows Blake walking out to a car that pulled up in front of Kayce’s and then being forced into the car. Even Pauline admits it looks like Blake knew these people were coming.
She doesn’t know what’s happening and now realizes that Blake’s had a secret life for years.
Andrea suggests they don’t tell Fallon what happened. Cal wants them to leave Kayce’s place, since Blake’s kidnappers know its location.
Miles has Blake’s hard drive, and it indicates that Blake’s been in trouble since he made a trip to a clinic in Equatorial Guinea. He was forced to use his nonprofit to help the rebels smuggle weapons. Not only that, but the president of Equatorial Guinea’s daughter was recently killed by a car bomb made by the rebels with explosives Blake supplied. The president’s henchmen threatened to kill Blake unless he told them who planted the bomb.
Cal believes Blake overheard him and Kayce discussing the origin of the car bomb, called the president’s henchmen, and then voluntarily got into their car—all to keep Pauline and Fallon safe. Unfortunately, the marshals can’t get any info on the kidnappers because their identities have been scrubbed. It’s possible they did covert work with the US government. Since Pauline’s a federal judge, she can sign a warrant to declassify their identities.
Andrea and Kayce are taking Fallon someplace safe when Andrea receives news that the kidnappers are Rylan Hightower and Nate Porter, ex-Delta Force and current private contractors who’ve worked with the Equatorial Guinea president in the past. Hightower owns property a few miles away so instead of dropping off Fallon, they take her with them.
Andrea wants to wait outside Hightower’s for Cal and Belle, who are 10 minutes away. Andrea warns Kayce that the DOJ wants these guys alive. Kayce doesn’t think Blake will still be alive if they wait and has Andrea stay with Fallon while he sneaks up to the house. He spots Hightower and Porter torturing Blake and yells before firing. One man runs for cover and the other fires back, but Kayce’s a better shot and hits him in the chest.
Kayce and the other guy exchange gunfire. When it stops, Kayce moves closer to his target’s position and sees his gun on the ground. The guy leaps out of the shadows and attacks, and for a minute it looks bad for Kayce. Finally, Kayce gets the upper hand and shoots his attacker.
Blake and Fallon are brought to the station and Pauline hugs her husband. Fallon’s holding all this against her dad, thinking he’s a monster. Andrea suggests she ask her dad what happened, while Kayce reminds her no father is perfect. Kayce believes Blake was trying to protect her and her mom.
The day’s over and Belle tries to convince Cal to go to the bar to meet Miles, Kayce, and Andrea. Cal doesn’t want to, and Belle grabs bourbon and pours drinks.
Miles and Andrea talk about dating and Miles confesses that asking out anyone outside the rez is difficult. He’s got a girl in mind but won’t say who it is. Miles asks for Kayce’s advice and Kayce admits the last person he asked out was Monica, so he doesn’t have much recent experience.
It turns out the woman’s there, and Miles takes a drink, gets up his courage, and heads to the bar. Oh no…he wants to ask out Cal’s daughter, Maddie! Maddie not only says yes, she admits she’s wanted him to ask her. When she mentions she’s Cal’s daughter, Miles is speechless.
Cal reminisces about Maddie’s childhood and taking her to the San Diego Zoo. She was just three years old and loved it. Belle brings up Fallon, and Cal wonders if Pauline and Blake’s marriage will survive this. He asks if Belle’s marriage would last if she found out Jared was living a secret life. Belle’s had enough of Cal’s weirdness and tells him to just say what he wants to say. Cal comes clean with what he saw.
Belle admits she and Jared grew apart because her work has kept her away. She knows Jared cheats, but he’s supposed to be discreet. Belle doesn’t want to split up her family. Her priority is taking care of her son.
I expect them to kiss…and they do. They pull apart and Belle says, “This is a terrible idea.” Now it’s awkward and Cal blames it on the booze. Belle calls it a night.
Back at the bar, Kayce thinks it’s funny that Miles doesn’t drink yet he fell for a bartender. Andrea asks if he really hasn’t dated since Monica, and Kayce admits even hanging out with Dolly felt like cheating on Monica. Andrea says her mom dated after her dad was murdered, and she finally realized her mom wasn’t replacing her dad. “She was just making room for someone new,” says Andrea.
Andrea wonders what Monica would want, and Kayce says he’d love the chance to ask her. They sit in silence as The Road winner Adam Sanders performs.
The following day, Kayce rides Monica’s mustang for a minute before being thrown off. Dolly rides up in time to see him fall and apologizes for the other day. She asks for another tour of the area and Kayce agrees.
