‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’ Trailer Arrives

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Official Trailer
Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, and Evan Ross in ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2’

The new trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 promises President Snow is going to have to pay for what he’s done, and one way or another the war has to end. “We all have one enemy. He corrupts everyone and everything. He turns the best of us against each other. Tonight, turn your weapons to the capitol,” declares Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence). It’s a cruel, bleak world on display in this trailer for the final movie of the Hunger Games franchise, and if you’ve read the books you know not everyone will escape with their lives…

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 was directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, Liam Hemsworth as Gale, Sam Claflin as Finnick, and Donald Sutherland as President Snow. The cast also includes Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Julianne Moore, Willow Shields, and Natalie Dormer.

The Plot:

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 now brings the franchise to its powerful fourth chapter in which Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) now fully realizes the stakes are no longer just for survival — they are for the future.

With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Hemsworth), Finnick (Claflin), and Peeta (Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.

Warner Bros Releases ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ Official Synopsis

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Official Synopsis Unveiled

Warner Bros. Pictures has released a few photos, teaser posters, and a teaser trailer, but until today the studio had not confirmed the official synopsis for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. With the Licensing Expo about to kick off in Vegas, Warner Bros has unveiled the plot of the Batman v Superman film coming to theaters in 2016:

“Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.”

A new threat? Could that be Lex Luthor? Given that the film isn’t set to reach theaters until March 25, 2016, we’ll probably have to keep guessing what that threat refers to for many more months.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the cast of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice features Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfre, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman. The cast also includes returning Man of Steel co-stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane.
