The Resident Season 6, Courtesy of Fox:

The compelling medical drama The Resident follows the doctors and nurses at Chastain Memorial Park Hospital. They work tirelessly to solve intricate medical cases, stopping at nothing to save their patients while facing challenges in their own lives.

Season five was a tumultuous journey, as our heroes at Chastain weathered several storms, including the devastating loss of the beloved Nurse Practitioner Nicolette Nevin. Now, entering a cutting-edge and electrifying sixth season, the stakes are at an all-time high. This season, pertinent topics are touched upon that push our characters to the limit while fighting for their patients’ lives. The season kicks off six months after we’ve last seen our heroes at Chastain. Chastain’s quality of care is put at risk and it’s up to our doctors to shine a light on the effects political corruption has on the healthcare system.

In the season premiere, DR. CONRAD HAWKINS (Czuchry) cozies up with his new love interest. Who will it be, DR. BILLIE SUTTON (Lucas) or DR. KINCAID (CADE) SULLIVAN (Kaley Ronayne)? Conrad’s journey continues as he balances his new love life, single fatherhood and saving patients at Chastain. Elsewhere, we’re catapulted into a gripping medical emergency for PADMA DEVI (guest star Aneesha Joshi) and her unborn twins, that will showcase the skills of Chastain’s new top pediatric surgeon, DR. IAN SULLIVAN (McCarthy), as he hides a dark secret surrounding addiction. If Ian’s secret leaks, it can cost him his job and his relationship with his daughter, Cade.

Stepping into fatherhood, we’ll see another side of the “Raptor” or DR. AJ AUSTIN (Warner) as he supports Padma all the way. The power couple DR. DEVON PRAVESH (Dayal) and DR. LEELA DEVI (Joshi) shine as Devon leads his own clinical trials and Leela is appointed Chief Resident. Chastain’s CEO, DR. KIT VOSS (Leeves), feels the stress of running a hospital when resources are low, and a new potential governor threatens to cut Chastain’s funding, all while supporting her love DR. RANDOLPH BELL (Greenwood) through his battle with MS.

This is a season of renewal and transformation for the doctors at Chastain as they step into new phases of their personal and professional lives.

Joey Brooks, Brennan Cook, Gideon Glick, Fred Hechinger, Matt Helm, Jack Irving, Steven Maier, Charlie Tahan, and Robert Duvall also star.

The Plot:

West Point, 1830. In the early hours of a gray winter morning, a cadet is found dead. But after the body arrives at the morgue, tragedy becomes savagery when it’s discovered that the young man’s heart has been skillfully removed. Fearing irreparable damage to the fledgling military academy, its leaders turn to a local detective, Augustus Landor (Bale), to solve the murder.

Stymied by the cadets’ code of silence, Landor enlists the help of one of their own to pursue the case, an eccentric cadet with a disdain for the rigors of the military and a penchant for poetry—a young man named Edgar Allan Poe (Melling).

‘The Calling’ Trailer: David E Kelley’s New Crime Drama

Peacock’s just released the first trailer for the upcoming drama The Calling from David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies). The Calling, which was given a straight-to-series order back in October 2021, is adapted from Dror Mishani’s bestselling Avraham Avraham book series and stars Jeff Wilbusch (Unorthodox) as the fictional NYPD detective.

“Dror Mishani wrote a riveting and emotionally complicated series of books, the center of which is Avraham. Avi is a deeply mysterious, spiritual, and compelling detective unlike any protagonist I’ve encountered before. Jeff Wilbusch brings him to rich and hypnotic life in front of the camera, and behind the camera Barry Levinson is… Barry Levinson. What a privilege to have him at the helm. Add Hans Zimmer to the mix, and the final product is something we hope thrills, moves, and instills a bit of hope in the audience,” said writer, executive producer, and showrunner David E. Kelley.

Co-composers Hans Zimmer and Steve Mazzaro said their goal was to create a score that would keep every character a suspect.

“We used a variety of raw and gritty-sounding stringed instruments coupled with pulsing synths, contrasted by a beautifully haunting duduk performance from our good friend, Pedro Eustache for Avi’s character. We’ve also manipulated real-world sounds such as jail cells and door sounds hidden within our percussion,” stated Zimmer and Mazzaro.

Barry Levinson, author Dror A. Mishani, Jason Horwitch, Jonathan Shapiro, Matthew Tinker), Keshet Studios’ Peter Traugott and Lisa Roos, Keshet International’s Alon Shrutzman, Keshet Media Group’s Avi Nir, and Keshet Broadcasting’s Karni Ziv serve as executive producers.

For those into binge-watching, all eight-episodes of The Calling will premiere on Peacock on November 10, 2022.

The Plot:

The Calling tells the story of NYPD Detective Avraham Avraham, whose belief in mankind is his superpower when it comes to uncovering the truth. Guided by a deep sense of spirituality and religious principles, Avraham is left to question his own humanity when a seemingly routine investigation turns upside down.

Travel Channel’s Destination Fear kicks off its fourth season with a visit to Cresson Sanatorium in Cresson, Pennsylvania. The team will be splitting up to investigate the huge property, and just to make things even more creepy they’ll be doing it without their flashlights.

Season four premieres on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 9pm on Travel Channel (and streaming on discovery+). The eight-episode season will find paranormal investigators Dakota Laden, Chelsea Laden, Tanner Wiseman, and Alex Schroeder traveling to haunted locations including the Winchester Mystery House, Norwich State Hospital, Ashmore Estates, and Defiance High School in Ohio.

Travel Channel offered the following description of the new season:

“After experiencing hauntings in Europe last season, the likes of which they’ve never seen at home, Dakota is now taking things to an even darker level – literally. Not only is he challenging the team with darker hauntings and locations, but he shocks them with the most disturbing experiment yet: removing flashlights from their armor and forcing them to blindly face the shadows of the night in true darkness. It’s the first of many twisted and unnerving new experiments that will test their paranormal theories from the most uncomfortable of situations.”

Destination Fear Season 4 Episodes:

  • SEASON PREMIERE: “Cresson Sanatorium and Prison, Part One” – Friday, November 25
The team faces a trifecta of terror at a decaying sanatorium in rural Pennsylvania. If a ghostly mimic and child spirits aren’t enough to shake up the crew, Dakota Laden has a dark and twisted experiment up his sleeve to amp up the fear at this foreboding facility.
  • “Cresson Sanatorium and Prison, Part Two” – Friday, December 2
Dakota Laden’s diabolical dive into darkness continues when he blindsides the team with a double dose of terror at an abandoned Pennsylvania sanatorium. Can they handle a night in the cell block where one of America’s most horrific serial killers was housed?
  • “Defiance Jr. High School” – Friday, December 9
The team learns the true meaning of “school spirit” at a vacant junior high school in Ohio. From jangling keys luring them to a killer custodian’s lair to a mind-boggling encounter in the gym, Dakota Laden and crew are the victims of a non-stop haunted hazing.
  • “Old Historic Harriman Hospital” – Friday, December 16
Tanner Wiseman may have found the G.O.A.T. of all haunted locations when he picks out a deserted Tennessee hospital for the next stop. Rumors of bizarre hauntings swirl around this eerie, unexplored facility, but nobody can explain why. Can the team unlock its disturbing secrets?
  • “Winchester Mystery House” – Friday, December 23
Chelsea Laden pulls the team out of the darkness and into the California sunshine … but only for a minute as she plunges them into the haunted madness of a legendary mansion. The crew takes a shot in the dark to see what energy is at play behind its walls.
  • “Ashmore Estates” – Friday, December 30
Alex Schroeder has a big surprise in store for Dakota Laden, Chelsea Laden and Tanner Wiseman when he takes them back to a decrepit Illinois poorhouse so scary that they swore never to return. But will tragic new information about this location force the team to re-evaluate the haunting?
  • “Mid-Orange Correctional Facility” – Friday, January 6, 2023
The team falls deeper into the darkness at a deteriorating juvenile detention center near a quiet New York village. Dakota Laden is eager to establish a close bond with the youthful spirits, but quickly discovers to be careful what you wish for in this nightmarish facility.
  • “Norwich State Hospital” – Friday, January 13
Dakota Laden saves the darkest, bleakest location for the last stop of one twisted road trip. This infamous psychiatric hospital in rural Connecticut is so diseased with dark history and demonic energy that it may be the final nail in the coffin for the “Destination Fear” team.
