Following its debut at the 2017 CinemaCon, Sony Pictures brought the second trailer for Spider-Man: Homecoming online along with a few new photos of the webslinger and Michael Keaton. Director Jon Watts, producers by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal, and Spider-Man: Homecoming star Tom Holland took the stage at the annual gathering of National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) to unveil the trailer and briefly discuss the film. Holland said he was glad to be back at CinemaCon where last year he helped reveal the film’s title, and Feige confirmed this Spider-Man film is the first that’s set entirely while Peter Parker is in high school.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is also the first Spider-Man film in which the webslinger is part of the MCU. Peter is well aware of the Avengers and is friends with Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr). Sony’s set a July 7, 2017 theatrical release.

The Plot: A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Downey Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

‘Baby Driver’ – Edgar Wright, Ansel Elgort and Jon Hamm at CinemaCon

Baby Driver stars Ansel Elgort and Jon Hamm with director Edgar Wright

Sony’s just announced they’ve moved up the release date of Baby Driver from August 11, 2017 to June 28th. The new release date, which gives the action thriller more time to play in theaters during the busy summer months, was in response to positive buzz following its premiere at SXSW. The film’s currently sitting at 100% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with Variety calling it a blast and The Hollywood Reporter describing it as “a sweet and speed-crazed crime film you can dance to.”

The studio made the new release date announcement during their opening night presentation at the 2017 CinemaCon at Caesars Place in Las Vegas.

Baby Driver was the first film Sony featured during their presentation to members of the National Organization of Theatre Owners (NATO) on March 27, 2017. Writer/director Edgar Wright joined two of the film’s stars – Ansel Elgort and Jon Hamm – on stage to discuss Baby Driver which Wright says is the result of blending two of his passions: music and action.

After showing off the first full scene from the movie, Wright admitted it was a thrill to be talking about his new movie in front of theatre owners and professionals as he’s a dedicated moviegoer who likes to pay to see films on their opening weekends.

Wright said Baby Driver is designed to be seen “large” (on the silver screen) and loud, and he confirmed the film didn’t use any CGI or green screen to achieve the heart-pounding action sequences. Baby Driver was shot on real locations with the idea of showing dream/nightmare scenarios of being in a car chase.

Wright used 35 songs throughout the film, with the cast rehearsing to the music which was played on set. Elgort’s character, Baby, functions best when he’s listening to music because he developed tinnitus at age seven and the music drowns out the ringing in his ears. Elgort says the soundtrack makes perfect sense even though the song choices might seem random. Baby sometimes listens to the music off of iPods found in stolen cars, and Elgort said that while he was filming he always wore his earbuds to listen to whatever Baby would be tuning into.

Jon Hamm stated the obvious when he called it very exciting to be in a car going 80 mph the wrong way on an interstate. Hamm joked that it didn’t take any acting to sit in the backseat and look terrified. And Wright revealed he would strap himself to the outside of a car while it was speeding, saying that when you’re directing at 80 mph, it’s more one-word instructions than participating in a real discussion.

The Baby Driver Plot: A talented, young getaway driver (Elgort) relies on the beat of his personal soundtrack to be the best in the game. When he meets the girl of his dreams (Lily James), Baby sees a chance to ditch his criminal life and make a clean getaway. But after being coerced into working for a crime boss (Kevin Spacey), he must face the music when a doomed heist threatens his life, love and freedom.

‘Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle’ – Dwayne Johnson Intros the Cast and Trailer

Sony closed out the first night of CinemaCon 2017 with the premiere of the Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle trailer, with Dwayne Johnson introducing his co-stars as well as the first footage from the action comedy. The December 22, 2017 release is a sequel to 1995’s Jumanji and finds four high school students discovering a video game and popping into the world of Jumanji and transforming into avatars played by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan. Taking the stage at CinemaCon at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Johnson said the original film was phenomenal and that the new film pays homage to it but has also evolved. Johnson said Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is different, but definitely pays tribute to the ’95 movie starring Robin Williams, Kirsten Dunst, and Bonnie Hunt.

Discussing Robin Williams, Johnson told a story about meeting Williams for the first time backstage at CinemaCon years ago, describing how he fanboyed and had a difficult time playing it cool. He recalled telling Williams, “I’m my biggest fan,” and Robins laughing at that and giving him a hug.

After saying the film was cast with the best movie in mind, Johnson introduced one of his co-stars as a real rock star, bringing Nick Jonas out onto the stage. Johnson had high praise for Karen Gillan who he introduced by saying she kicks ass in the film. Jack Black was the last of the Jumanji cast to take the stage, feigning outrage over Nick Jonas being called the rock star when he was sure Johnson was using that description to describe him. Black sang part of a theme song he’s been working on for Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle – which he admitted no one associated with the production asked for – and Johnson joked he had to put up with Black breaking out in song every day on the set.

Johnson prompted Black to talk about his time on the set, and Black described the shoot as pure hell. They shot in Hawaii which was pure torture with huge mosquitos, heat, and hellish terrain, and Black wanted everyone to know compared to their experience, Leonardo DiCaprio had it easy filming The Revenant in Iceland. “You try to make a movie in Hawaii!” said Black. Johnson added, “That’s just one bear. We call bullsh*t on that!”

Dwayne Johnson also joked that Jack Black came up with ingenious ways to insert the ‘f’ word into the movie, and Black admitted he’s proud you can’t even hear the word the way he worked it into the dialogue.

Sony also unveiled the official plot description following the unveiling of the trailer:

“In the brand new adventure Jumanji, the tables are turned as four teenagers are sucked into the world of Jumanji. When four high-school kids discover an old video game console with a game they’ve never heard of – Jumanji – they are immediately drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the avatars they chose: gamer Spencer becomes a brawny adventurer (Dwayne Johnson); football jock Fridge loses (in his words) “the top two feet of his body” and becomes an Einstein (Kevin Hart); popular girl Bethany becomes a middle-aged male professor (Jack Black); and wallflower Martha becomes a badass warrior (Karen Gillan). What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji – you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be stuck in the game forever…”

Jake Kasdan directed from a script by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Scott Rosenberg, and Jeff Pinkner.

‘Waco’ Event Series Adds John Leguizamo as an ATF Agent

Emmy winner John Leguizamo has signed on to the cast of Spike TV’s Waco set to begin shooting in April 2017. Spike’s targeting a 2018 premiere for the six-part event series based on the law enforcement standoff with the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas. The 51-day siege began on February 28, 1993 and ended on April 19, 1993 when the compound went up in flames, killing nearly all of the Branch Davidians including the cult’s leader, David Koresh.

Leguizamo will be playing ATF Agent Robert Rodriguez “who was sent into Koresh’s Mount Carmel to gather evidence and build a federal case against the Branch Davidians but forged a bond with the people inside.” He joins a cast that includes Michael Shannon as lead FBI negotiator Gary Noesner and Taylor Kitsch as David Koresh. Shannon, Kitsch, John Erick Dowdle, Drew Dowdle, Salvatore Stabile, Harvey Weinstein, Bob Weinstein, David Glasser, Jennifer Malloy, and Megan Spanjian are executive producing, with John Erick Dowdle directing from a script by Drew Dowdle.

“We are thrilled to have John in this part. He brings phenomenal range and authenticity to everything he does,” stated Ted Gold, Senior Vice President, Scripted Original Series for Paramount. “The role of Robert Rodriguez is little known, but utterly fascinating as he was the only undercover agent to infiltrate David Koresh’s compound.”

John Leguizamo’s credits include Bloodline, John Wick, Ice Age, Chef, The Lincoln Lawyer, The Happening, Carlito’s Way, Romeo + Juliet, and Summer of Sam.

The Plot: Waco will reveal the untold story exploring the true life details leading up to and chronicling the 1993 standoff between the FBI, ATF and David Koresh’s spiritual sect, The Branch Davidians. Told from several perspectives of those most intimately involved in both sides of the conflict, this story has never been shared on television before – and is surprising in its stark contrast to the media narrative at the time and what is remembered of Waco almost 25 years later.

In 1939 Poland, Antonina Żabińska and her husband, Dr. Jan Żabiński, have the Warsaw Zoo flourishing under his stewardship and her care. When their country is invaded by the Germans, Jan and Antonina are stunned – and forced to report to the Reich’s newly appointed chief zoologist, Lutz Heck (Brühl). To fight back on their own terms, Antonina and Jan covertly begin working with the Resistance – and put into action plans to save lives out of what has become the Warsaw Ghetto, with Antonina putting herself and even her children at great risk.

‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Episode 15 Recap and Review: Something They Need

“I just want you to understand, we are not monsters,” says Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) to Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) after just killing one of his own men for trying to rape her in season seven episode 15 of AMC’s The Walking Dead.

As the episode begins, there’s a voice-over of Tara (Alanna Masterson) telling Rick (Andrew Lincoln) about Oceanside and all the guns they have stored. Rick asks why she didn’t say anything sooner and she tells him that she made a promise. He tells her not to feel guilty about it, but she does. As the voice-over of this conversation is taking place, the screen shows Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Jesus (Tom Payne) setting explosives in the woods just outside of Oceanside as hungry walkers roam the beachside.

Over at the Hilltop, Maggie (Lauren Cohan) shows a resident how to garden before heading outside the walls to look for a certain plant she saw earlier. Gregory (Xander Berkeley) watches Maggie go and decides to follow her.

At the Sanctuary, Sasha is alive but a prisoner and in solitary. A Savior named David visits her cell and offers her water if she’ll do “something” for him. She headbutts him as he starts to make a move on her, and that’s when Negan shows up asking what David thinks he’s doing. David starts to answer him and Negan points out that it was a rhetorical question. Negan reminds David that rape and attempted rape are not allowed and after David apologizes, Negan puts his large Bowie knife through David’s neck saying, “I do not accept your apology.”

Negan tells Sasha he recognizes her from the night he killed Abraham and Glenn and doesn’t blame her for breaking into his compound. He’s even impressed and asks her if Rick put her up to it. “Rick, your bitch?” replies Sasha, trying to convince Negan that Rick is obeying him completely. Negan tells Sasha she has four choices as he hands her his knife. First, she could try to kill him with the knife but he’s standing over her with a bat so that’s not such a good idea. Second, she could kill herself with the knife which Negan says would be “a crying shame.” Third, let David the reanimated zombie eat her which would be weird and sick but to each their own. Or four, use the knife to stop David from turning and “join the cause.” He shuts the door behind him and leaves her alone with dead David to think about it.

Later, Eugene (Josh McDermitt) brings Sasha a blanket and pillow and tells her that Negan told him about his offer, encouraging Sasha to take it. She asks what they did to him and Eugene tells her that basically all his bravery was used up driving off in the RV the day before Abraham and Glenn were murdered. Watching Abraham die the way he did crushed Eugene. For the one person Eugene looked up to and admired and always thought of as a fighter and survivor to go out like that convinced Eugene to adapt and to not be brave anymore to survive. He tells her he hopes she will accept the offer and she tells him to leave.

Back at the Hilltop, Maggie is working on her plant and Gregory comes along wanting to talk. He tells her they should appear to the people to have a united front, and Maggie replies it would be better if they actually had a united front. He agrees and Maggie tells Gregory if he’s serious she’ll come around later and they can talk some more. “It’s never too late to change,” says Maggie, asking him to keep a watch out for walkers while she finishes up. Gregory says he would be glad to and pulls out his knife.

At first, Gregory is keeping watch but then he looks down at Maggie on her knees finishing her gardening and starts to lean forward with his knife, looking as if he’s going to kill her. Luckily, the better part of Gregory comes out and he stops himself and goes back to guarding. When he sees a walker approaching, he wants to handle it but fear gets the better of him and he lets Maggie put the walker down. As Maggie kills another zombie, a different one attacks Gregory who struggles to keep its mouth away from him. He yells to Maggie for help and she races over and kills the walker. A few of the Hilltop residents are walking back to the town and Maggie tells them it’s his first time killing walkers. “That’s not what he told us,” answers back one of them, and Gregory gets up and walks off, upset.

At Oceanside, Tara sneaks into town and surprises Natania (Deborah May) and Cyndie (Sydney Park) in their cabin. She warns them her people are all around and they’re going to take over the town, but she can call it off if Natania is willing to talk to her leader, Rick. She tells them they’re going to fight the Saviors and they’re taking their guns, advising them they should join in the fight. Natania refuses to listen and won’t talk to Rick.

Explosions begin going off and the women of Oceanside run to escape only to get caught by Rick, Daryl (Norman Reedus), and the rest of their team. Michonne (Danai Gurira) is up in a tree as both a lookout and a sharpshooter. Natania approaches the group, holding a gun to Tara’s head. Natania got the drop on Tara with Cyndie’s help, and only after disarming her did they discover Tara’s gun wasn’t loaded. Rick tells her to put it down and they can talk, but again Natania isn’t willing to listen. Tara shouts to Michonne not to shoot knowing that she most likely has a shot she can take. Cyndie tells the unarmed Oceanside women that Rick and his group want to fight the Saviors.

Beatrice says out loud that maybe they should also try, but this just makes Natania more determined to make sure her group does not join the fight, reminding them they’ve forgotten what they went through last time. She swears she’ll make sure they don’t fight because she’ll kill Tara and end up being killed by Rick’s people, and that will be the end of it. This makes Cyndie knock Natania out so as to avoid any killing.

Michonne, who’s still up in the tree, spots a herd of walkers heading their way and yells to Rick. Rick, Daryl, Beatrice, and the others with weapons form a line and Rick tells everyone else to get behind them. They become a firing squad, putting down the walkers before they can take a bite out of anyone. Once finished, Beatrice hands her gun back to Rick and shakes his hand.

Back at the Sanctuary, Negan opens the door to find that Sasha did put down the David walker. She says, “You win,” and Negan replies, “No, you win.” Negan takes his knife back and reveals a little bird told him Rick is up to no good and that she’s going to help him to change that. Later, Eugene visits Sasha telling her he’s happy about her decision and she tells him she can’t do it. She won’t betray her friends and he has to get her something – a knife, a gun, a piece of glass – so she can die. Eugene tells her he’ll think about it.

At Oceanside, Cyndie confesses to Tara that she wants to go with her and that others also want to fight, but it has to be everyone or no one goes. Tara thanks Cyndie for all the times she’s saved her life and walks off with Rick who asks her if she’s okay. She says yes and that he was right, that she doesn’t have to feel bad.

At the Sanctuary, Eugene slides the poison he had made under Sasha’s door, telling her it should work and he hopes it’s painless. He disagrees with her decision but he did it because he trusts her and respects her. Sasha, who was trying to trick Eugene into giving her a weapon she could use against Negan, is very upset because now she has nothing to fight with when they open the door.

Rick and the group get back to Alexandria and Rosita (Christian Serratos) opens the gate. They ask her where Sasha is and she says that someone is here. She takes them to the cell they built and inside is Dwight (Austin Amelio). Daryl launches himself toward Dwight, but Rick stops him. Rosita yells that he says he wants to help and Rick asks if that’s true. Dwight answers yes. “Okay, get down on your knees,” says Rick as he points his large police revolver at Dwight’s head.

The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 15 Review:

Tense and engaging, episode 15 titled “Something They Need” moves Rick and his group a little closer to the all-out upcoming war with Negan and his Saviors, with hints of the possibility some of the citizens of Oceanside will join in the fight. The stand-out performance in this episode goes once again to Jeffrey Dean Morgan as head bad guy, Negan. The scenes between him and Sonequa Martin-Green are the tensest and most uncomfortable ones in this episode. Negan has become a more interesting villain since displaying his desire to give those who have killed his people (and even tried to kill him) another chance to fall in line and become willing followers. He’s a deadly bully but seems to really enjoy getting strong people to break and follow him.

With Dwight at Alexandria claiming he wants to help (or is he really a spy planted by Negan?), Sasha still a prisoner of Negan’s, and some of the Oceanside ladies looking as though they want to join the fight, the war with Negan and his Saviors is looking even bigger and bloodier.

‘iZombie’ Season 3: David Anders Interview

iZombie star David Anders

The third season of The CW’s popular comic book-inspired zombie comedy/drama iZombie is set to kick off at 9pm ET/PT on April 4, 2017 with an episode titled ‘Heaven Just Got a Little Bit Smoother.’ The zom-dram-rom-com stars Rose McIver as Liv Moore, David Anders as Blaine, Robert Buckley as Major Lilywhite, Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Malcolm Goodwin as Detective Clive Babinaux, and Aly Michalka as Peyton Charles. The series was created by writers Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero-Wright who also executive produce along with Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge.

The Season 3 Plot: In the third season, Liv has discovered there are more zombies living in Seattle than she previously believed. In fact, there is a private military contractor employing a small zombie army, and that army is preparing for the day humans learn of their existence. Major finds a job and acceptance in this army. Liv and Clive investigate the murder of a zombie family that may just set off an all-out zombie-human war. Ravi’s former boss at the Center for Disease Control shows up in Seattle to investigate the Max Rager massacre. Blaine finds living as a human with no memory of his evil past is more blessing than curse. Peyton pulls at a thread in one of her cases that may lead to the villain that’s pulling all the strings. This season, Liv will eat the brains and take on the traits of a dominatrix, a JACKASS-style stunt man, an office gossip, a pre-school teacher, a conspiracy theorist, a dungeon master, and many more.

During last year’s San Diego Comic Con, we had the chance to pick David Anders’ brain about what’s in store for season three. In our roundtable interview, Anders chatted about the game-changing season two finale, what we can expect from Blaine, and what’s up with the Blaine/Peyton/Ravi love triangle.

‘Once Upon a Time’ Season 6 Episode 14 Recap: Page 23

Once Upon a Time Lana Parrilla Season 6 Episode 14

ABC’s Once Upon a Time season six episode 14 begins with a flashback of the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) hunting Snow White, ready to dispense some revenge. She wants Snow dead and mercy is out of the question. Fortunately, Snow escaped. Unfortunately, the Evil Queen turns on the villagers, demanding they tell her where Snow went. Tinker Bell (Rose McIver) arrives and tells the Evil Queen she doesn’t have to live a life full of hate. Just to prove she can love, the Evil Queen allows Tinker Bell and all the villagers to live.

Robin (Sean Maguire) is still confused as to why Regina didn’t tell him she had a double. When he voices the opinion that they have something in common, the Evil Queen takes offense. She’s a Queen, after all, and he’s a peasant. She thinks he belongs back in the Wish realm, but first, she needs him to steal something for her. She hands him a shovel and tells him to start digging in the cemetery.

Emma (Jennifer Morrison) shows off her ring to Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Henry (Jared Gilmore) and they’re happy for her. She admits she said yes before he actually asked and then reveals they’re going to hold off their wedding plans until after Gideon’s taken care of. Regina and Zelena (Rebecca Mader) arrive and they’re also happy for Emma, but they’re unhappy to share the news the Evil Queen’s escaped her snake form.

Robin digs up a box with the shears and he thinks she wants to use them on Regina to keep her from her fate. She doesn’t; the Evil Queen’s going to use them to separate herself from Regina so she can destroy her.

Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) is down at the docks, looking forlorn. Up walks Captain Nemo who’s there to say goodbye. He’s ready to set sail on the Nautilus, and he’s happy Hook has set aside his revenge and found a family. Nemo figures out there’s something wrong, and Hook confesses he hurt Emma’s family. He still considers himself a villain and he doesn’t think villains deserve happy endings. Nemo warns him that guilt is corrosive so he should tell the truth or keep it a secret and learn to live with it. He suggests Hook ask for forgiveness.

The Evil Queen visits Henry at home and snags the magical pen. She doesn’t want him to wipe her out of existence, but Henry tells her he thinks there’s good in her so he’d never do that. He asks the Evil Queen if she’s happy now that she got her revenge on Snow, and she confesses she’s not. She hands him a note and tells him to give it to Regina, saying she loves him as she leaves.

Back in Fairy Tale Land, the Evil Queen and her father have an argument over revenge. He wants her to be happy and he doesn’t believe killing Snow is the answer. He shows her one of her mother’s spell books he’s kept hidden, saying the book has a map that leads to Snow.

Meanwhile in Storybrooke, Regina, Henry, Emma, Zelena, and Snow look at Page 23, which is what the Evil Queen gave to Henry to give to his mom. It’s a drawing of Regina and Robin, which means the Evil Queen has met Robin #2. They all believe this means the Evil Queen’s sending a message she’s ready to take on Regina, and Regina says she has to do this alone because it’s only her battle to fight. Regina declares, “Our fight ends today.”

The Evil Queen has Robin tied up and she’s anxiously pacing, waiting for Regina. Robin asks if killing Regina will really solve everything, suggesting it will just make a martyr of Regina. He thinks he’s there to save the Evil Queen, not Regina, and maybe they should leave together.

Back in time, the Evil Queen and her father make it to a portal and she’s confused. It’s dripping with light magic and she figures out her father’s tricked her. Tinker Bell actually told her father about this place and they go through the portal to a statue of Cupid. Her father says the arrow in Cupid’s hands will lead her to gaze upon the man she loves the most. Instead of taking the arrow and being happy, the Evil Queen’s concentrating on her revenge.

Hook looks in the dreamcatcher and watches as he kills David’s father. Emma also saw Hook’s memory of the murder and stops him before he can toss the dreamcatcher into the fire. She asks why he wanted to burn his memories and he confesses he’s scared of losing her. Emma thinks her mom and dad would forgive him, but Hook can’t imagine sitting across from them at dinner. He doesn’t know how he can live with that, but Emma is being incredibly supportive. She tells him that he should know they agreed to handle this sort of thing together. Since he didn’t believe in that, she hands him back the ring. She says when he’s ready for that level of trust, then they can talk.

Hook catches up with Captain Nemo at the dock and admits he took neither of Nemo’s good pieces of advice. He isn’t the man he thinks Emma needs him to be, and now he wants to join Captain Nemo’s voyage. Nemo agrees, telling him they’ll leave at nightfall.

Regina confronts the Evil Queen who’s holding the shears.

Back in Fairy Tale Land, the Evil Queen uses her mom’s spell book to find Snow White. She takes the arrow from Cupid’s statue and instead of using it to find the person she loves the most, she uses it to find the person she hates the most. She fires the arrow and it soars through the air.

Regina tells the Evil Queen to go ahead and use the shears, the town isn’t big enough for both of them. The connection between Regina and the Evil Queen lights up and she cuts it after saying, “See you on the other side!” And now it’s time for a sword fight!

The arrow flies toward the Evil Queen’s castle. Instead of pointing out Snow White’s hiding place, it lodges in the wall of the Evil Queen’s wardrobe cabinet. The wardrobe cabinet opens and the mirror shows the Evil Queen her own reflection. She hates herself more than she hates Snow!

Regina and the Evil Queen continue their duel, with Regina disarmed and tossing apples at the Evil Queen. That knocks her down and Regina picks up the sword. The Evil Queen sends her flying and gets control of the sword, but Regina’s able to bind her with branches telling her she’ll never take away the good things. She grabs the Evil Queen’s heart and begins to squeeze it when she sees her own reflection. Regina stops and lets the Evil Queen free, telling her she doesn’t hate her anymore. Regina declares she’ll be brave and choose love over hate. She takes out her own heart and then combines the two hearts. She places the hearts back in their chests, giving the Evil Queen some of her love from Henry, Robin, and the people she cares most about. Regina also took some of the Evil Queen’s darkness, saying they’re a part of each other no matter what. Regina says she loves herself and the Evil Queen should also love herself. They hug and the Evil Queen actually cries.

The Evil Queen and Regina have a heart-to-heart, and the Evil Queen confirms she sent Robin back to the Wish Realm since that’s where he wanted to go. She even apologizes for Regina not getting to say goodbye. They talk about happy endings and Regina says hope is just as important as a happy ending. The Evil Queen’s not sure what she should do next and needs somewhere new to get a fresh start. Regina thinks she knows someone who can help.

Regina, Snow, Zelena, and Henry meet at the diner, and Regina wants Henry to send the Evil Queen somewhere where she can have a chance at a new life. Henry says he can do that without breaking the rules because the Evil Queen’s not in his book, technically. Snow’s not sold on this, but Regina says the Evil Queen explained everything she knows about ending the sleeping curse. They have to give her a chance like they all gave Regina. Zelena’s also not convinced but the Evil Queen arrives to say she’s truly sorry for everything. She promises to do the right thing now and Henry tells her, “I knew you could be good, mom,” and she cries because Henry’s never called her mom before. She gives him back his pen and the Evil Queen thanks Regina one more time.

“Just promise me you won’t miss a single minute,” says Regina. Henry writes, “The Evil Queen went to the place where she could get a fresh start.” She smiles and disappears. They wonder where she went, and Regina says she has an idea.

We see the Evil Queen enter the tavern and apologize to Robin for kidnapping him. She says she’s had a change of heart and asks if she can buy him a drink. Robin says, “Seeing as how this is my realm, how about I buy you one?” They smile clink glasses, and drink.

Hook’s about to leave when Snow shows up and tells him Regina gave the Evil Queen her happy ending, which stuns Hook because he can’t believe it’s possible for the Evil Queen to have a happy ending. “Love can save even the darkest souls,” says Snow, and she congratulates him for making Emma so happy. She gives him a kiss and a hug and asks him to tell Emma that Regina’s okay. When Snow walks away, Hook takes the ring out of his pocket and looks at it.

Emma arrives back at her house and Hook’s not there.

Hook tells Nemo he’s not going to make the voyage after all, but before he can leave the Nautilus it begins submerging. Gideon’s on board and he’s taken control of the vessel. He apologizes to Nemo but says Hook can’t be in Storybrooke for what he has planned next.

Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
