Oh come on! Isn’t it about time we get a real meaty trailer for season three of Game of Thrones? I’ll answer that question myself…yes, it is. But that’s not what HBO’s giving us with this video released on February 10, 2013. No, this is another maddening teaser that doesn’t show anything from the upcoming season. Instead, we see headshots of the main cast with a voice-over talking about a ladder.
Enough already! Give us a trailer!
Game of Thrones season 3 debuts on March 31, 2013.

Filming is now underway on Bullet, an action film starring Danny Trejo (Machete), Jonathan Banks, and Julia Dietze. Nick Lyon (Species: The Awakening) is directing from a script he co-wrote with Ron Peer and Byron Lester.
American United Media, Giant Ape Media, and SC Films International are producing.
“I am thrilled to be working with Danny Trejo on Bullet,” said Rodriguez. “The goal is to bring a top-notch action movie to life by creating a film that combines an ever-thickening plot with intense dialogue and stand-out characters. The opportunity to be working on Bullet is very exciting.”
Simon Crowe of SC Films added, “This is an intelligent, fast-paced action script that is thoroughly entertaining, in the spirit of Die Hard meets Taken. Its top-notch cast will appeal to worldwide distributors and audiences alike.”
Bullet‘s shooting for a late 2013 theatrical release.
The Plot:
This fast-paced action picture finds hardened detective Frank Marasco (Trejo) battling to bring down a deadly criminal gang. While facing off with his nemesis, ruthless cartel leader Carlito Kane (Banks), he unravels a deadly plot that could destroy his family in a race against time.
Dietze plays a provocative cartel attorney who walks a fine line of legal ethics.
One of the funniest segments on February 9, 2013’s Saturday Night Live episode hosted by Justin Bieber (who was also the musical guest) was the cast poking fun at the Super Bowl 43 blackout. As the CBS broadcast crew, the SNL cast stumbled through filling the air time with mindless chatter as well as constant promos for 2 Broke Girls. As the delay stretches on the conversation deteriorates into talk of who they would eat (the kicker), illegitimate children, and Ray Lewis as a killer.
Daniel Craig (Skyfall) lends his voice to the documentary One Life directed by Michael Gunton (Earth: The Movie) and Martha Holmes (Blue Planet) and opening in limited release on February 21, 2013. The film marks Craig’s first time collaborating as the voice of a documentary.
George Fenton supplies the music.
In addition to being Craig’s first documentary film, One Life features other firsts, including animals and behaviors filmed for the first time, and new filming techniques which “give a familiar scene an unfamiliar look.”
“I am very proud to be part of BBC Earth’s film One Life. The BBC Natural History Unit have proven, year after year, that their documentary skills are second to none. For the filmmakers who spend their entire lives recording beautiful images of planet earth’s dwindling wildlife, I have only a sense of awe and a deep-rooted respect,” said Craig in the announcement of the film’s upcoming theatrical release. “I am incredibly fortunate to have been given the chance to play a very small part in that process.”
Added director Michael Gunton: “I am delighted that we have been able to work with Daniel Craig – one of the UK’s true stars – on One Life. His voice is extraordinary, with a wonderful blend of emotion and authority that I am sure will engage and move the audience in equal measure.”
Oscar producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced Dame Shirley Bassey will make her very first appearance on the Academy Awards stage with the 2013 Oscars. This year’s Oscars will include a tribute to James Bond films, and Bassey’s the artist responsible for delivering the theme songs to Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever and Moonraker.
Announcing Bassey’s participation, Zadan and Meron said, “We are thrilled to welcome the legendary Dame Shirley Bassey to our Oscar show. Her association with film music is world-renowned and we are proud that she will be making her first Oscar appearance on our telecast.”
Per the Academy’s official press statement, Bassey’s sold over 135 million records and has released 44 albums over her six-decade-long career.
In addition to Bassey, Adele (Skyfall‘s theme song), Norah Jones (singing the Oscar-nominated song from Ted) and Barbra Streisand will be performing on the 85th Academy Awards. The presenters confirmed for the show so far include Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo, Jean Dujardin, Christopher Plummer, Octavia Spencer, Meryl Streep, Mark Wahlberg and Ted. In addition to those presenters, producers Zadan and Meron announced special “guest appearances” by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Daniel Radcliffe, Channing Tatum, and Charlize Theron.
The 2013 Oscars will take place on February 24th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
The video for “How Long,” the first single off of How to destroy angels’ Welcome oblivion debut album, has been released along with the track list for the album. Welcome oblivion will drop on March 5, 2013 and their EP An omen is currently on sale via Amazon and iTunes.

In support of Argo‘s upcoming release on Blu-ray and DVD on February 19, 2013, Warner Bros Pictures has unveiled this in-depth behind-the-scenes video that provides a glimpse at not only the making of the film, but also details on the true story that inspired the movie. Argo: Declassified features interviews with Ben Affleck, the producers, and cast members, as well as the real Tony Mendez (the CIA agent Affleck plays in Argo).
Details on the Blu-ray Combo Pack:
· Feature Length Picture in Picture: Eye Witness Account
· Audio Commentary with Director Ben Affleck
· Rescued from Tehran: We Were There
· Argo: Absolute Authenticity
· Argo: The CIA & Hollywood Connection
· Escape From Iran: The Hollywood Option
The Standard Definition DVD:
· Rescued from Tehran: We Were There
The Plot:
On November 4, 1979, as the Iranian revolution reaches its boiling point, militants storm the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage. But, in the midst of the chaos, six Americans manage to slip away and find refuge in the home of Canadian Ambassador Ken Taylor. Knowing it is only a matter of time before the six are found out and likely killed, the Canadian and American governments ask the CIA to intervene.
The CIA turns to their top “exfiltration” specialist, Tony Mendez, to come up with a plan to get the six Americans safely out of the country. A plan so incredible, it could only happen in the movies.
Scenes from The Weinstein Company animated movie Escape From Planet Earth (I actually typed Escape From Owl City first) are intermingled with clips of Adam Young of Owl City at the piano performing “Shooting Star” in this just-released video. Featuring the voices of Brendan Fraser, Rob Corddry, Ricky Gervais, Jessica Alba, and Sofia Vergara, the PG-rated family-friendly animated comedy was directed by Callan Brunker who makes his feature film directorial debut with the project.
The Plot: In Escape From Planet Earth, astronaut Scorch Supernova finds himself caught in a trap when he responds to an SOS from a notoriously dangerous alien planet.
Escape From Planet Earth arrives in theaters on February 15, 2013.
The Synopsis:Vikings follows the adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok, an actual historical figure, and the greatest hero of his age. The series tells the gripping sagas of Ragnar’s band of Viking brothers and his family, as he rises to become King of the Viking tribes. As well as being a fearless warrior, Ragnar embodies the Norse traditions of devotion to the gods – legend has it that he was a direct descendant of Odin, the god of war and warriors.
Season three culminated with the extraordinary battle in Paris, where Ragnar (Fimmel) seized victory from the jaws of defeat – but still returns to Kattegat dangerously ill. Thoughts of his death galvanize the forces who seek to succeed him as king, including his wife Queen Aslaug (Sutherland) and his oldest son, Bjorn (Ludwig). Meanwhile, Lagertha (Winnick) continues power struggles with her calculating, former second in command, Kalf (Robson); Rollo (Standen) betrays his Vikings heritage by remaining in Frankia and Floki (Skarsgård) is seized for his brutal actions to the Christian priest Athelstan.
