Spider-Man: No Way Home and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings top the list of the 2nd Annual Critics Choice Super Awards film nominees, picking up five nominations each including Best Superhero Movie, Best Actor in a Superhero Movie, and Best Actress in a Superhero Movie. Midnight Mass and Evil earned six nominations each and will be going head-to-head in the Best Horror Series, Best Actress in a Horror Series, and Best Actor in a Horror Series categories. In addition, Midnight Mass and Evil scored Best Villain in a Series nominations.
The Critics Choice Super Awards recognize the best in superhero, science fiction/fantasy, horror, and action – genres that are often overlooked for awards consideration. This year’s winners will be announced on March 17, 2022.
