‘Mayans M.C.’ Season 5 Preview: Teaser, Photo, Plot, and Premiere Date

Are you ready for one final ride with Mayans M.C.? FX has set a May 24, 2023 premiere date for the fifth and final season of the Sons of Anarchy spinoff. FX plans to release the first two episodes of the 10-episode final season on May 24 at 10pm ET/PT, followed by new episodes every Wednesday.

The premiere date announcement was accompanied by the first teaser trailer and photo featuring JD Pardo as EZ.

In addition to JD Pardo, the final season cast includes Clayton Cardenas as Angel, Edward James Olmos as Felipe, Michael Irby as Bishop, Danny Pino as Miguel, Emilio Rivera as Marcus, and Vincent Vargas as Gilly. JR Bourne plays Isaac, Carla Baratta is Adelita, Sarah Bolger is Emily, Frankie Loyal stars as Hank, Joseph Lucero is Creeper, Gino Vento is Nestor, Emily Tosta plays Leticia, and Vanessa Giselle is Hope.

Kurt Sutter and Elgin James co-created the series and serve as executive producers. Mayans M.C. launched in September 2018, four years after the end of Sons of Anarchy – and of Jax Teller. The 10-episode fourth season premiered in April 2022 and finished in June 2022.

Mayans M.C. Season 5 Plot:

Mayans M.C. follows the life of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (Pardo), president of the Mayans M.C. charter on the Cali/Mexi border. Once a golden boy with the American Dream in his grasp, EZ has now risen to lead his brother Angel (Cardenas) and the Santo Padre M.C. in a bloody war against their rival Sons of Anarchy.

Defending the California territory and patch begins to claim lives within the club and causes strain between EZ and Angel — as one brother devotes himself to the club and the other to family. Felipe (Olmos) attempts to heal these fractured bonds for the future of the Reyes family.
