Paramount+ is teasing new details about the upcoming second Yellowstone prequel, 1923. The streaming service announced Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, and Julia Schlaepfer will be joining Oscar winner Helen Mirren (The Queen) and Oscar nominee Harrison Ford in the original series.

Paramount+ also dropped descriptions of the characters, confirming Harrison Ford is playing the brother of James Dutton (played by Tim McGraw in 1883).

1923 was created by Taylor Sheridan and is currently filming in Montana. Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson serve as executive producers.

Per Paramount+: “1923 will introduce a new generation of the Dutton family and explore the early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.”
