FX’s The Americans continues its riveting final season with episode four titled “Mr. and Mrs. Teacup.” Season six episode four picks up where episode three left off, with Philip (Matthew Rhys) and Oleg Burov (Costa Ronin) meeting in the middle of the night. They walk and talk, getting to know each other and sharing their feelings about Russia and America. Oleg admits he’s come to America at this time because it’s the best chance there might ever be for Russia and America to make peace. Oleg explains Gorbachev is in trouble and that there are people trying to overthrow him. The people running The Center don’t like progress because it could spell the end of communism.

Oleg continues, explaining who’s for and who’s against Gorbachev. The people of Russia appear to want progress.

Philip is sure Elizabeth (Keri Russell) wouldn’t hurt Russia, but Oleg thinks her loyalty could be manipulated. He wants the details on her current assignments and Philip, breaking Elizabeth’s trust, says she’s been working on the Summit and trying to obtain a radiation sensor. He even spills the beans that General Lyle Rennhull was killed after Elizabeth unsuccessfully attempted to get him to hand over a sensor.

Oleg reveals he’s being followed which means they can’t be seen together again.

Philip returns home to find Elizabeth outside smoking in the dark. She comes inside and they barely speak to each other.

Later that night, Elizabeth and her team break into Altheon where the sensors are stored. (Elizabeth secured the layout of the facility and potential shortcomings in security in episode three.) The mission doesn’t go smoothly and as the alarms sound, Elizabeth is forced to shoot security guards. She barely escapes the building before police arrive to back up the on-site security.

Meanwhile, Philip gets back into the spy game again, wearing his Jim Baxter disguise and visiting Kimberly Breland (Julia Garner). She’s been away at college and although she’s busy, she makes time for Jim. She’s excited to be heading off to Greece for a vacation with her roommates and seems happy with her life. She’s worried about Philip not being in a relationship and suggests he needs to seize the day.

At home, Paige (Holly Taylor) and Elizabeth discuss what happened at Altheon. Elizabeth wasn’t able to obtain the sensor before being chased from the building. Paige reveals she went out with friends from college and one of the guys who seems to like her interns for Charles Bennett, a Florida congressman.

Philip’s arrival causes Paige to clam up, but Elizabeth urges her to finish her story. Paige reveals Bennett is on the Armed Services committee and Philip interrupts again. He says, “Right back into it. Is this how it is?” Paige tries to tell her dad everything is okay, still under the impression General Rennhull killed himself and Elizabeth tried to stop him. Philip tries to make her see the truth and then asks Elizabeth why the General killed himself.

Paige threatens to leave if her parents keep fighting. Philip gives up and leaves the room, while Elizabeth assures Paige that Philip loves them both. “This work can get to be too much for people, even the best ones,” explains Elizabeth. She then tells Paige she’s really proud of her but doesn’t want Paige to go after the intern. She’s not ready to do that kind of work, plus Elizabeth doesn’t want her mixing her personal life with work. Elizabeth reminds her she’s targeting a State Department job and must be protected.

Minutes later in their bedroom, Elizabeth tells Philip he was out of line. He’s mad Paige’s life was in danger and Elizabeth assures him it won’t happen again. He turns over his latest tape from the Breland house and says it’ll be the last one before Christmas because Kimberly’s going to Greece. Elizabeth’s upset about that because they have to know what’s being discussed before the Summit.

Oleg calls his dad, Igor Pavlovich, at the Ministry of Transportation in Moscow to catch up on the family and pass on what he’s learned in America. He wants to know if they’ve seen his wife and child, and it’s confirmed Oleg’s mom visits them every day. Sasha’s a healthy eater and doing fine. Oleg passes on a coded message, disguising it as news about a new algorithm with arrivals and departures.

Elizabeth hands over the Breland tape to Claudia (Margo Martindale), informing her that it contains the revelation that the CIA believes a top general might resign because Gorbachev didn’t consult him about the negotiations containing a short-range missile deal. More importantly, the tape mentions “our guy inside” and that that person can’t get away right now. Elizabeth and Claudia don’t know who they’re referring to or whether that person is in America or Russia.

As they’re talking, Claudia lets Elizabeth know that a discussion Stan Beeman had with his wife about a Russian couple might be about a courier who defected with his wife and child. Claudia wants more info and wants Elizabeth to deal with the courier who apparently used to be a national hockey team player. His defection and subsequent publicity tour would look bad for Russia.

Philip’s at work when Henry (Keidrich Sellati) calls and fills him in on school and the hockey team. Henry thinks he might be made captain next year, but Philip breaks the news that financially things aren’t going well. It’s possible Philip won’t be able to pay for tuition next year because of a big loan he took out and a lack of business. Henry is devastated and quickly gets off the phone.

Elizabeth meets with an associate and passes on a photo of Stan and the info that they’re looking for a man who probably just moved into a safe house.

Philip and Stan (Noah Emmerich) meet for drinks and to catch up on their families. Philip wonders if Stan ever worries about money, but Stan doesn’t have those sorts of problems.

Igor Pavlovich passes on the information he’s learned from his son. Igor confesses Oleg’s wife and mother are worried and miss him terribly. Unfortunately, he’s told Oleg isn’t coming home quite yet.

Philip finally has the talk with Elizabeth about their finances. They’re in bed when he admits they’re in debt because he moved too fast. Elizabeth suggests he cut back, but Philip doesn’t think that would fix it. He’s trying to figure it out, but he can’t. Philip also admits he told Henry they can’t pay his tuition for his senior year. Elizabeth doesn’t have much to contribute to the conversation other than to say Henry is Philip’s department.

Philip asks about Paige and Elizabeth assures him she’s fine. He then asks Elizabeth about herself and they kiss. She admits she’s tired all the time, turning her back and rolling away from him in bed.

Stan drives to work and he’s being tailed by Elizabeth’s team.

The Americans Season 6 Episode 4 Recap

Elizabeth’s back on nurse duty and her patient, Erica (Miriam Shor), reveals that when she found out she was sick, her first thoughts were that her drawings would live on. Her work would remain when she was gone. But now she thinks she should have spent the time with her husband, Glenn, instead of drawing.

As Elizabeth’s working on drawing a vase (per Erica’s instructions), she listens as Glenn tells Erica a bunch of his co-workers/friends are getting together with a Russian to watch the World Series. Erica wants Glenn to go, but he’s reluctant. Elizabeth volunteers to take Erica to the party, saying she’d monitor her meds and make sure everything’s okay. Glenn agrees to the plan and finally so does Erica.

Stan meets with Agent Dennis Aderholt (Brandon J Dirden) and learns they’re still tailing Oleg. Also, Dennis reveals that “Mr. and Mrs. Teacup” – Sofia and Gennadi – are causing problems and both are demanding to see Stan. Stan’s done playing babysitter, but Dennis really needs him to do this.

Philip goes over the numbers at work again before heading off for more Country line dancing with his employees.

Paige goes out with some of her friends from college, including the guy who’s interning with the Florida congressman. Meanwhile, Elizabeth smuggles a jacket out of Erica and Glenn’s place and has a recording device inserted in the lining.

Paige ends up sleeping with the intern and while he’s still in bed, she spots his government ID hanging nearby.

The following day, Elizabeth joins Erica and Glenn for their outing with friends to watch the World Series. Glenn’s very attentive at the party but Elizabeth assures him they’re fine. After he returns to his friends, Erica admits she shouldn’t have come.

Elizabeth watches as Glenn speaks one-on-one with the Russian at the party. However, Glenn’s called away from the Russian because Erica doesn’t feel well and vomits. It’s obvious she needs to return home immediately.

Later, Elizabeth listens to the tape of the conversation from the party. It’s only a discussion about Erica’s illness that’s interrupted by Erica becoming ill and needing to leave.

While Philip works on the books and eats, he has a flashback to being a child who existed on crumbs of food handed out in an alley.

‘The 100’ – Bob Morley on Season 5, Bellamy’s Growth, and New Relationships

When The CW’s The 100 kicks off its fifth season it will be with a huge time jump that affects every character differently. The six year leap forward in time will mean new alliances have been formed and personalities have changed and evolved as the characters continue to mature and adapt. Sitting down to chat about The 100 season five during the 2018 WonderCon in Anaheim, Bob Morley explained what Bellamy’s been up to since the finale of season four. He also talked about missing both Octavia and Clarke while in space on the Ark.

The Season 5 Plot: Over the last four seasons The 100 have fought to survive against unimaginable odds, only to see the world end for a second time. Season five begins six years later, with our heroes still separated: Bellamy’s team in space, Clarke on the ground, and hundreds trapped in the bunker below. But when a massive prison ship descends upon the last survivable place on earth, The 100 must come together to reclaim their home.

As two armies converge on one valley, alliances will shift, friends will become foes, and the march to war threatens to destroy all that’s left of the human race. Can our heroes break the cycle, or is humanity doomed to repeat the past? In this epic battle for survival, one thing is certain: there are no good guys.

The 100 season five will premiere on April 24, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT.

Bob Morley The 100 Season 5 Interview:

Richard Harmon said that Bellamy and Murphy’s relationship in season five is not what fans might expect. Can you elaborate on that?

Bob Morley: “I actually kind of blank out on where they left it in season four, but where we pick it up in season five I feel their relationship is like older brother and younger brother. You know, that kind of thing that’s going on. I mean, I know that my older brother was the best at everything and I was like the younger brother who was always kind of clawing my way to be better than him. So, there’s a bit of that dynamic I think. But, I don’t know what Richard’s getting at, really…”

Do you have a backstory for Bellamy’s six years in space?

Bob Morley: (Laughing) “He was a janitor, so I imagine he cleans the Ark quite a lot. But there’s also in the six years I feel like he and Raven kind of took it on themselves to create a chore list for everyone, just because idle hands and all that kind of stuff. Everyone would lose their minds. I think in a way he tries to create a routine and a regiment. And whether everyone else follows that, we’ll have to wait and see. He’s definitely taken on the head and the heart concept from Clarke and tried to approach it with a much more level-headed and a rational sensibility over those six years.”

Does he carry the guilt of leaving her behind? How does that weigh on him?

Bob Morley: “He kind of touches on that at the end of season four. He’s like, ‘If we don’t survive up here, then she’s died in vain.’ I think by insuring everyone is staying alive and doing their jobs and is doing their best to enhance their chances of getting back down to the ground, that’s the way that he can kind of, I guess, absolve himself in a way. But you’re never really going to forgive yourself totally. I imagine that the rest of them, they’ll probably all sit down and have therapy sessions because he wasn’t the only one who left her behind. You know Raven – she likes to keep a tight schedule.”

How’s Bellamy doing without Octavia?

Bob Morley: “I think that’s the one that’s really killing him. That’s the one that he’s really thinking about. I get asked about Clarke quite a lot but the way that I thought about it and played it was that Bellamy thought Clarke was dead, so Octavia is really the one that he’s concerned about and holding out hope for. That’s the real driving force for him is Octavia, his family down on Earth. I think that whenever he’s looking out the window, that’s the one he’s thinking of.”

Do you get any sort of a restart on Bellamy with the six year time jump?

Bob Morley: “Season five is interesting because, you know, we only had six months off as actors and then the writing room have come in and put in a six year time jump. They’ve had all the chance to have all that backstory for Bellamy and start it up. And so, coming into this season five, Bellamy was very much who he was. Some of the sticky situations where he might be aggressive or irrational, the way that he approaches them now were kind of odd for me because I’ve always played him as always being very unpredictable. So, that was just a little bit tricky for me to get my head around and play him as a rational human being. That took some time. But as the story progresses throughout season five, I think the writing team have done a great job in terms of building an arc for him this season. Hopefully I do them justice.”

What will fans be most surprised about regarding this new Bellamy?

Bob Morley: (Laughing) “Probably his facial hair. I think it will be similar to what I just said about him – his ability to read a situation and not necessarily act immediately. I definitely struggled with that for a bit. And also, there’s huge shifts in character dynamics with each other. The new space crew, they mean a tremendous amount to Bellamy – almost verging on the point of a new family for him. There are alliances that are drawn over that six years that we haven’t necessarily seen but have definitely grown within him. That will definitely be quite a surprise to the audience.”

Will there be growing pains as he adjusts to getting back with his old friends?

Bob Morley: “Oh, I imagine so. And as you’ve seen in the trailer, Clarke with Madi – that’s definitely changed her perspective on things. I think that a lot of the delinquents, the 100, that went down had never really had to look after somebody else whereas Bellamy was always like that. I think that’s what made it hard for everyone else to understand why he cared about his sister so much. He had to raise her from a child, whereas now Clarke is doing that with Madi. So, I think there’s probably an understanding that comes from her but also in a way she’s that mother hen that will do anything to protect her chick.”

Stranger Things 2: It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

‘The Flash’ Season 4 Episode 18 Recap and Review: Lose Yourself

The Flash Season 4 Episode 18 Recap
Grant Gustin as The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost, Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West, Tom Cavanagh as Harrison Wells and Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe in ‘The Flash’ season 4 Episode 18 (Photo: Katie Yu © 2018 The CW Network)

“You may not care about losing who you’ve become, but we do. We like Hero Ralph, please don’t take him away from us,” says Barry (Grant Gustin to Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) who’s hell-bent on stopping DeVoe, even if he has to kill him, in season four episode 18 of The CW’s The Flash.

As the episode begins, Ralph and Barry are searching for clues in the bus the metas were riding in when Barry came out of the Speed Force. They’re trying to find the last meta, Edwin Gauss (Arturo Del Puerto), and search as they argue over killing DeVoe. Ralph thinks they should be willing to stop him no matter what it takes, and Barry tries again to convince Ralph that part of being a hero is always finding another way to stop the bad guy. Ralph remembers Gauss when he sees where he was sitting because Gauss paid for his bus fare.

At S.T.A.R. Labs, Harry (Tom Cavanagh) shows Team Flash the new tool he created to stop DeVoe. It’s a device he calls the Sonic Scepter which Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) says is really a powerful tuning fork. Hit it on the ground and the sonic waves will blow DeVoe up against the wall. Two hits and he’s dead. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) is concerned about Harry who’s acting manic and seems to never be without his thinking cap.

After the meeting breaks up, Iris (Candice Patton) asks Caitlin what she’s working on. Caitlin tells Iris she has found out what activates Killer Frost to come out by monitoring her brain. Dark matter is in Caitlin’s adrenaline glands so when she’s scared or angry, Frost comes out. Caitlin can now get Frost to come out by just giving herself a shot of epinephrine. Caitlin tells Iris she can’t wait to tell Frost what she’s discovered. Iris asks if they talk to each other and Caitlin admits they leave each other notes.

Harry tells the gang that Edwin’s power is that he has a pocket dimension, like DeVoe, and can travel similar to Vibe. Joe asks Harry about using the thinking cap and Harry assures him he’s fine and there’s no problem.

Team Flash, with Harry’s help, is able to locate the recent areas Edwin used his powers. They split up to try to find him. Barry, Ralph, and Caitlin check the woods and come upon a hippie commune. They ask the group if they’ve seen Edwin and show his photo. One man tells them yes and that they call him the folding man because he folds in and out of everywhere.

Barry and Ralph go off in one direction looking for Edwin while Caitlin heads out in the opposite direction. (This is just dumb. If this were a horror movie, Caitlin would be the next victim!) Barry and Ralph argue again about killing DeVoe and Ralph is adamant they need to be willing to do whatever it takes to stop him. Barry responds once again by saying there’s always another way.

Caitlin yells to the guys she has eyes on Edwin who runs really fast even though he’s not a speedster. Barry speeds over and knocks him down. They tell him they’re not the police and are here to protect him from someone very dangerous. Edwin’s relieved and asks if the Samuroid is with them. Just then a samurai sword is thrust through Caitlin’s shoulder from behind, followed by the robotic Samuroid tossing her. Barry uses his super-speed to take apart the Samuroid and races over to catch Caitlin before she crashes into the trees. “Caitlin!” yells Ralph, concerned for her. Barry tells Ralph to meet them back at S.T.A.R. Labs with Edwin. He then speeds off carrying a wounded Caitlin.

At S.T.A.R. Labs, Ralph suggests to Caitlin that she should rest but she says she’s fine and almost healed. Barry tells her that when she passed out she got cold and her Frost healing powers went to work. Ralph’s more determined than ever to kill DeVoe and after arguing with Barry again, visits Edwin who’s digging the pipeline and the snacks Ralph brought. During their chat, Ralph learns Edwin once used his powers and ended up in DeVoe’s lair. This gives Ralph an idea.

Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is gluing his model of the USS Enterprise Starship together when Harry comes in yelling for his thinking cap, believing Cisco took it. Cisco tells him he didn’t take it and Harry destroys his model and actually grabs Cisco and puts him up against a wall. Joe enters telling Harry that Cisco didn’t take his cap but that he did. He believes Harry’s addicted to it and that he can’t keep him from using it. He wants Harry to see what he’s doing to the people he cares most about. Joe gives Harry back the cap and leaves. An upset Cisco walks out leaving Harry feeling terrible about what just happened.

Ralph wants Edwin to power him to DeVoe’s lair and he’ll handle the rest. Barry shows up in his Flash suit thinking it was DeVoe and wants Ralph to stop. Ralph won’t back down and takes the Sonic Scepter and puts it inside himself. He then stretches his fist to punch Barry, but Barry uses his super-speed to duck the punch and punch out Ralph instead.

Ralph wakes up in the medical bay and Barry attempts a peace offering. Barry tells Ralph he understands that Ralph is afraid of DeVoe, but he has to rise above it. “You are a moron. I am not afraid of DeVoe and what he might do to me. I am afraid of what he might do to you and Iris and Caitlin, Cisco, Joe, Harry, Cecile… DeVoe has taken out everyone who has gotten in his way and Team Flash will always be in his way,” says Ralph. “This was never about protecting yourself,” says Barry beginning to understand Ralph’s real motivation.

“I know killing DeVoe would be throwing away everything I’ve done to become a hero but aside from my mom this team is the only family I have ever had. I would throw myself in a furnace to keep them safe. DeVoe cannot have them, they are mine,” says a determined Ralph. Barry assures Ralph that the team likes Hero Ralph and doesn’t want to lose him.

Barry explains to Team Flash that part of Ralph’s plan was a good one: the idea to use Edwin’s power to get to DeVoe and use the scepter to capture him. Everyone’s in. Harry, Iris, and Joe will stay at S.T.A.R. Labs to keep Edwin safe while Barry, Vibe, and Killer Frost will go capture DeVoe.

The Flash, Vibe, and Frost arrive at The Thinker’s lair only to discover that DeVoe isn’t there. Instead, they are facing a hologram. Turns out DeVoe knew they would try to get to his lair so he set this up and can now attack S.T.A.R. Labs. Marlize (Kim Engelbrecht) wields a samurai sword and goes up against Iris with her power gun. Joe takes on another Samuroid robot and Harry runs to power up his thinking cap to come up with new ideas on how to stop DeVoe from winning. Harry enters his private chamber and asks Gideon to increase the dark matter in his thinking cap. (He lied to Cisco who made him promise not to use dark matter.) Harry overloads the cap and it explodes. He passes out.

DeVoe goes after Edwin who’s in the pipeline, but Ralph is there blocking his path. DeVoe uses one of the other metas he absorbed to bring back the T-Rex skeleton to chase off Ralph. It works briefly until Ralph enlarges his hand and knocks out the T-Rex. When Ralph gets back to the pipeline, DeVoe is now in Edwin’s body.

During the fight between Iris and Marlize, Iris lets Marlize stab her with the sword so she can get to The Thinker’s chair and activate it to get Barry, Vibe, and Frost back. It works and Marlize and the chair disappear.

Ralph faces down DeVoe and uses the Sonic Scepter against him. It works and knocks DeVoe across the room. Ralph knows one more strike from the scepter will kill DeVoe. Instead, he puts the power-reducing cuffs on him. The Flash shows up and is proud of Ralph. Ralph tells Barry he thinks he’s ready for the kind of life Barry was talking to him about before. DeVoe uses that moment to disable the cuffs and knock Barry off his feet. As Barry lies on the ground stunned and helpless, DeVoe uses his powers to transport himself into Ralph’s body, killing him. Team Flash watch on the monitors as Ralph’s body drops to the floor along with Edwin’s.

Vibe opens a breach and goes through with Killer Frost. Barry’s finally able to get up but before he can use the scepter DeVoe blasts him with power, knocking him across the room. DeVoe blasts Vibe before he can do anything. Frost creates an icicle and starts to stab DeVoe, but he touches her and says, “Melt.” That causes her to change back to Caitlin before sending her up in the air and crashing down to the ground.

Later, Barry feels terrible and takes off wanting some alone time. Joe asks if he should go after him but Iris says she thinks she knows where he’s going.

Caitlin asks Cisco to get Harry because she thinks something’s wrong with her. Cisco and Harry examine Caitlin and Cisco realizes she touched DeVoe and he used one of the meta’s powers he absorbed to untangle her DNA from the dark matter. Caitlin no longer has any dark matter in her. Killer Frost is gone. Caitlin glances over at the post-it notes she and Frost have been using to communicate. She’s both surprised and a little sad.

Barry’s in Ralph’s old P.I. office boxing things up and cleaning out things he knows Ralph wouldn’t want people finding. Iris shows up and tries to talk to Barry, but he shuts her down. He says he appreciates what she’s trying to do but right now he alone needs to clean out Ralph’s office. Iris leaves. Barry continues to box things up until the office is empty. He downs a shot of Whiskey and then leaves the glass on Ralph’s old desk. As the sun is setting and he’s about to leave, Barry turns and says to the empty room, “I’ll keep them safe.”

The Flash Season 4 Episode 18 Review:

Dramatic, action-packed, and heartbreaking, episode 18 titled “Lose Yourself” sees the tragic and preventable death of Ralph, a hero who was just coming into his own. The episode also saw the loss of Caitlin’s chilly alter-ego, Killer Frost. This was a powerful and heavy episode with two stand-out performances as well as the exit of the best character to be introduced to the series this season.

Hartley Sawyer, who has added much-needed humor into the show and has wonderful chemistry with Grant Gustin, delivered his strongest performance in this episode. The scene where Ralph tells Barry just how much Team Flash means to him and that he’s willing to become a killer to protect them shows just how far he has grown as a person and a member of the team. It’s truly sad to see this character come to such an unfitting and undeserved end.

Danielle Panabaker steals every scene she’s in episode 18. Panabaker nails every scene from Caitlin’s conversation with Iris about the cute little notes she and Frost leave for each other showing their growing friendship to when she gets stabbed by the samurai robot to when she realizes she no longer has any dark matter in her. The scene where she looks at the post-it notes is truly touching.

With the death of Ralph, Killer Frost vanishing, and DeVoe seeming to have everything he needs to set about his great plan, it doesn’t look good for Team Flash. In fact, it just might be their darkest hour.

GRADE: B+

Grammy Award winner and current coach of NBC’s The Voice Kelly Clarkson has been tapped to host the 2018 Billboard Music Awards. This year’s Billboard Music Awards will air live from Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20th beginning at 8pm ET/5pm PT and will mark the first time the awards show will air on NBC.

“Kelly Clarkson has long been a Billboard chart phenomenon and has a first-hand understanding of what matters most in music today,” stated Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment, announcing Clarkson as host. “Her enthusiasm for all genres of music and her innate sense of humor will make for a truly memorable night.”

“To prepare for hosting the Billboard Music Awards, I already have 20 costume changes planned,” said Clarkson. “I will be flying in like my girl P!nk, and calling Amy Schumer and Sarah Silverman for jokes. Well, or I’m just gonna show up and celebrate my favorite artists and get to know a few more. Yeah, maybe I’ll go with that plan.”

“Clarkson has sold more than 25 million albums and 36 million singles worldwide. She has placed 10 singles in the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart and is the recipient of three Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Academy of Country Music Awards and a CMA Award.

The acclaimed singer/songwriter released her highly anticipated new album Meaning of Life, the first for Atlantic Records, on Oct. 27, 2017. Meaning of Life, featuring the emotionally charged new single, “I Don’t Think About You,” is the album Clarkson was destined to make with Atlantic, a collection of smart and sensual soul-inspired pop that immediately belongs among the legendary label’s classic canon. For her eighth studio album – and follow-up to 2015’s chart-topping Piece By Piece – Clarkson united a stellar team of top songwriters and producers to collaborate, among them past collaborators Jason Halbert, Jesse Shatkin and Grammy Award-winning Producer of the Year Greg Kurstin, as well as first-time collaborators Mick Schultz, the Monarch and Nick Ruth, among others.

Clarkson’s Piece by Piece debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart, marking her third #1 debut. Piece by Piece garnered two 2016 Grammy nominations (Pop Vocal Album and Pop Solo Performance for her hit single “Heartbeat Song”).

Clarkson’s 2011 release, Stronger, was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, and produced the smash singles “Mr. Know It All” and “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You),” which marked her ninth and 10th Top 10 hits. “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)” was #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for two consecutive weeks (three weeks total), marking her third #1 on the Hot 100 chart. In 2013, she released her first holiday album, Wrapped in Red, which debuted at #3, was the biggest holiday album debut for a female artist since 2010, and is certified platinum.

Clarkson is also a New York Times best-selling author, having recently released her 2nd children’s picture book, River Rose and the Magical Christmas. This is the follow-up to River Rose and the Magical Lullaby, which debuted at #7 on The New York Times bestsellers list for children’s picture books.”
