Details on Fox’s Lineup:

I Can See Your Voice host and executive producer Ken Jeong is joined by Emmy Award-nominated actress Cheryl Hines and Daytime Emmy Award-winning television host and vocalist Adrienne Bailon-Houghton along with a rotating panel of celebrity detectives to help one contestant tell the difference between good and bad singers…without ever hearing them sing a note.

Hosted by Emmy Award-winner Niecy Nash, Don’t Forget The Lyrics challenges contestants’ musical memory, as they get one song closer to winning $1 million. Contestants will choose songs from different genres, decades and musical artists. Then they’ll take center stage to sing alongside the live in-studio band as the lyrics are projected on screen – but when the music stops and the words disappear, will the contestants belt out the correct missing lyrics, or freeze under pressure? If they sing nine songs correctly, they are presented with a No. 1 hit and sing the final missing lyrics for the top prize of $1 million. It’s that simple: 1 contestant, 10 songs, 1 million dollars!

Culinary titan Gordan Ramsay welcomes famed hospitality industry leader and TV personality Lisa Vanderpump in the all-new season of the hit competition series Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars. Ramsay and Vanderpump — two prominent, influential personalities and tycoons in their respective industries — will face-off as they each select aspiring food and beverage industry entrepreneurs to join their teams and then put them through a gauntlet of real-world challenges designed to showcase their business skills, test their drive and prove they have what it takes to become the next great culinary entrepreneur. With a $250,000 prize on the line, the aspiring enterprisers will be challenged in all aspects of running a food or beverage enterprise, including re-marketing a food product, innovating a new product, building brand loyalty, sales pitching, and management.

Hosted and executive-produced by award-winning actor, singer and comedian Jamie Foxx, who is joined by his daughter, producer and activist Corinne Foxx as co-host and deejay, Beat Shazam returns with an all-new season on Tuesday, May 28. Beat Shazam is an interactive game show that pits teams of two against the clock and each other, as they attempt to identify the biggest hit songs of all time. In the end, the team with the most money banked will outlast the competition and go against Shazam, the world’s most popular song identification app, for the chance to win $1 million dollars.

The Quiz with Balls pits brains against balls while combining a high-stakes quiz show with a large-scale physical competition. Hosted by actor and comedian Jay Pharoah, each episode of The Quiz with Balls features two families competing for $100,000 in a “battle of the balls.” Standing on a high platform over a glistening pool, they must all work together as they face a multiple-choice quiz where each answer is allocated to a spot with a giant ball positioned up behind it. If the correct answer is chosen, the ball rolls down and stops just before colliding with the player… if the answer is wrong, the massive ball rapidly descends and mercilessly whacks them into the pool below. The more players each team loses, the harder the questions get. The longer they last, the more money they bank, until one “dry” family member plays the final round for The Quiz with Balls’ $100,000 Grand Prize.

MasterChef: Generations enters its 14th season with an all-new theme beginning Wednesday, May 29. Gordon Ramsay, acclaimed chef Aarón Sánchez and renowned restaurateur Joe Bastianich return for the ultimate cook-off, as the top home cooks from four different generations, inclusive of Gen Z, Millenials, Gen X and Baby Boomers, battle it out. The home cooks will face a multitude of cooking trials, including a restaurant takeover challenge, a series of iconic Mystery Box challenges, cooking a meal at the Major League Soccer LAFC stadium, and the fan-favorite Tag Team event, where they must create a Michelin-star quality three-course meal! Only one home cook will win it all and take home the cash prize of $250,000 and the title of America’s MasterChef.

Beginning Monday, June 3, all-new episodes of Name That Tune, hosted by Jane Krakowski and band leader Randy Jackson continue to test the musical knowledge of contestants playing for a chance to win over $100,000.

‘Tracker’ Starring Justin Hartley is Renewed for Season 2

Tracker Season 1 Episode 3 Recap

CBS has officially renewed Tracker for a second season after just four season one episodes have aired. The primetime drama starring Justin Hartley (This Is Us) has been a ratings winner for the network, claiming the titled of most-watched new broadcast TV series of the past six years.

CBS reports Tracker‘s also the most-watched new drama in nine years.

Tracker kicked off our premiere week with a ratings bang and has kept the momentum going,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “We knew we had something special when we saw the very first cut of the series and the overwhelming audience response confirms it. We couldn’t be more grateful to Justin, the talented cast, the incredible writing and producing teams and our partners at 20th Television for such compelling episodes. And, of course, we’re also so thankful to the millions of viewers tuning in each week.”

The one-hour drama is based on Jeffery Deaver’s The Never Game and stars Hartley as Colter Shaw, a self-described “rewardist” who tracks missing people/things for the reward money. The cast of season one also includes Fiona Rene as Reenie Greene, Robin Weigert as Teddi, Abby McEnany as Velma, and Eric Graise as Bobby Exley.

Tracker debuted in the coveted timeslot immediately following the 2024 Super Bowl. However, this year’s Super Bowl – won by the Kansas City Chiefs – went into overtime, which meant the show’s first episode didn’t air until after 11pm on the East Coast. Even with a super long Super Bowl working against it, Tracker‘s first episode drew in 18.4 million viewers and has now been watched by 30 million across multiple platforms. Since its premiere, the series has been averaging 16 million viewers and has upped CBS’s Sundays at 9pm time period viewing by 83% over 2023.

Hartley, Ken Olin, Elwood Reid, and Ben Winters serve as executive producers.

Vanderpump Rules‘ Lisa Vamderpump will square off against Gordon Ramsay on season two of Fox’s Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars. The new season is set to premiere on May 22, 2024, with new episodes airing on Wednesdays at 9pm ET/PT.

“Gordon is quite literally larger-than-life, an iconic figure and a dear friend,” stated Vanderpump. “Setting that aside, we’re both tenacious, tireless, competitive and demanding of ourselves and others, so while I salute the man and his many successes and defer to his mastery in the kitchen, I will never defer to him on this show. Game on, Gordon!”

Fox offered this description of the new season: “Ramsay and Vanderpump will each bring their expert knowledge and unique leadership styles to the competition, and in a first-of-its-kind twist, the entrepreneurs will pitch themselves and their products, services or business ideas to the moguls, who will then choose contestants to build their respective teams. The battle commences as teams are put through ‘Business Bootcamp,’ designed to test their tenacity, initiative, perseverance, and ambition as business leaders.

With a $250,000 prize on the line, these entrepreneurs will be challenged in all aspects of running a food or beverage enterprise, including re-marketing a food product, innovating a new product, building brand loyalty, sales pitching, and management. In addition to Ramsay and Vanderpump, the challenges will be evaluated by guest judges, curated focus groups and customer feedback, profit and loss metrics, and market and corporate feedback.”

Gordon Ramsay serves as an executive producer along with showrunner Deborah Sargeant.

“Lisa is a tough, shrewd restaurateur and TV star,” said Ramsay. “She is a real force in business and true friend. However, make no mistake, the competition will be fierce between us!”

‘Tracker’ Episode 4 Recap: “Mt. Shasta”

Tracker Season 1 Episode 4 Recap

Colter Shaw’s on the case of a student who goes missing on CBS’s Tracker season one episode four. After Noah, a student at Shelter Stone Academy for troubled teens, missed his weekly call with his mom Erika (Marley Shelton), she became worried. Fortunately, she’s friends with Reenie Greene (Fiona Rene) and Reenie knows just the right guy to help find her missing son.

The school won’t give Erika any info, but Colter (Justin Hartley) promises to find out what’s going on. He’s already learned it’s a gated campus with lots of security and a policy of not being open about activities within its boundaries. Erika believes her son is doing great right now but confesses this place was his last chance. He has a problem with drugs.

Colter listens but doesn’t judge.

The head of the school, Mr. Gilroy (Peter Bryant) meets with Reenie, Erika, and Colter and confirms Noah’s whereabouts are unknown. However, he stops short of saying Noah’s missing. Gilroy has activated the 12-member security team, led by Tom Ritter, and they’re combing the campus in case Noah is hiding out somewhere.

Colter’s not buying it and asks why Gilroy seems nervous. Gilroy expresses concern that Noah left to score drugs after revealing that he relapsed four months ago. He attempts to throw Colter out, but you can’t easily get rid of the tracker once he’s on the case. Gilroy gives in and allows Colter to look around for 30 minutes.

Erika and Reenie head to Noah’s dorm room as Gilroy gives Colter a tour. There are numerous security cameras, and Gilroy points out where Noah was last seen in the footage. Colter notes there’s a blind spot in the coverage nearby. Some students also knew about the blind spot.

Tom Ritter (Chris William Martin) and a student named Johnny join them and Johnny says the last he saw of Noah, he was leaving the library. Colter picks up that Johnny’s not being allowed to provide real details.

Colter calls Velma (Abby McEnany) and Teddi (Robin Weigert) as he heads to Noah’s dorm room. He wants the 4-1-1 on the Shelter Stone Academy, and Teddi promises to get right on it.

Erika and Reenie look around Noah’s room and don’t find any clues. Erika points out her bracelet and says that Noah has a matching one just as Colter arrives to do his own inspection of the room. Colter finds a bag with a girl’s things in it, and Erika admits she was unaware that Colter has a girlfriend.

“Teenagers only talk to teenagers,” says Colter.

Next, Colter speaks with Johnny alone and gets him to reveal that the last time he saw Noah was by the blind spot near the maintenance sheds. Noah was with Zeke, a handyman at the facility, and Noah looked scared.

Colter joins Reenie, Erika, and Tim in Gilroy’s office and informs them of Zeke’s possible involvement. Tim admits they just learned that Zeke didn’t show up for work today, and they’re pulling security footage right now. The footage shows Zeke leaving, and it’s obvious Noah’s hiding in his backseat. It’s possible Noah’s been kidnapped and didn’t run away.

A short while later, Tim reveals the police checked Zeke’s apartment and he hasn’t been there since yesterday morning. Reenie asks for Zeke’s employee file, and Colter promises to do everything within legal means to locate Noah. Gilroy doesn’t believe that’s necessary since the police are on the case, but Tim agrees that Colter’s involvement would be helpful.

Colter calls Bobby (Eric Graise) to search for Zeke’s phone. Bobby does, and doesn’t get anything useful because it might be out of cell range. However, his call log shows eight calls to Lisa Jefferson last night before it went silent.

Bobby gives Colter Lisa’s address, and Colter pays her a visit. A movement inside the house gets his spidey senses tingling, and he grabs his gun before approaching the house. He’s proved right when it’s obvious someone broke the front door.

Lisa answers, sporting a black eye. She delays inviting Colter in, but finally opens the door and reveals multiple bruises. Noah is her boyfriend, but he’s not responsible for her injuries. She describes him as sweet and says they keep in touch when they can, but it’s tough with him still at the Academy.

She also reveals that Zeke’s a good guy and had nothing to do with her injuries. He helped Noah sneak off campus to see her after Ray – her jealous, crazy ex – beat her up. Ray’s a dealer who supplies drugs to the students at Shelter Stone. Noah was helping her stay clean and break away from Ray, and that made him angry.

Noah was going to talk to Ray at a dive bar outside of town and warn him to leave Lisa alone or he’ll call the cops. She doesn’t know if they ever met up. Colter assures her that none of this is her fault and asks if Reenie can stay with her until they find Noah. Lisa agrees and tells Colter everything she knows about Ray.

Ray has quite a criminal history, and Reenie’s making note of everything he just did to Lisa. Tim arrives and Colter fills him in on what he’s learned, and Tim’s happy to know that Zeke is the decent man they believed him to be.

Tracker Season 1 Episode 4 Recap

Tim takes off to check out Zeke’s place while Colter heads to the biker bar where Ray works. The bouncer grudgingly answers Colter’s questions and confirms Noah and Zeke stopped by last night. He calls Ray a “whack job” and says he lost it when confronted by Noah. He may have pulled his gun, and Noah and Zeke got scared and returned to their car. Ray took off after them.

Teddi and Velma’s research on Ray turns up the deed to a remote cabin he owns. He inherited it and it’s close to where Colter is right now. Colter’s on the road as they talk and Velma’s concerned when Colter abruptly says, “What the hell?!”

A man emerges from the bushes and falls in the middle of the road in front of Colter’s truck. Colter tells Velma to send an ambulance to his location and then springs into action. It turns out the man is Zeke, and that he’s been shot. Unfortunately, he dies after collapsing on the road.

Colter searches the nearby woods, gun drawn, and finds Zeke’s vehicle. It rolled over and there are bullet holes and blood. Ray must have run Zeke off the road. Colter calls Reenie while looking at Zeke’s car and fills her in on the fresh developments. Colter concludes that Noah is injured based on the blood splatters inside the vehicle. Footprints show Noah crawled from the car and ran, with Ray chasing him.

A flashlight pierces the dark, but it’s Tim there to help. (He’s ex-Navy and promises not to slow Colter down.) They decide not to wait for the police and follow the footprints for half a mile until Colter spots more blood drops. Based on their current state, Colter believes there’s a 70% chance the wounds aren’t life-threatening. But it has been 24 hours since Ray shot up Zeke’s car, so they need to find Noah ASAP.

They discover a flashlight and assume Ray dropped it, but the tracks aren’t obvious anymore. Colter and Tim split up to continue their search, with Colter tackling the rougher terrain. He spots a footprint and then suddenly Noah appears nearby and orders Colter not to move. Noah’s got a gun and refuses to believe Colter when he says his mom hired him.

Colter holds up Noah’s bracelet that he found on the ground and says he noticed Erika had a matching bracelet when Reenie introduced them. Noah realizes Colter’s telling the truth and is there to help when he describes Reenie as smart, pretty, and certain she’s never been wrong in her life.

Noah confirms the gun is Zeke’s and hands it over. Colter takes care of Noah’s leg as Noah describes Ray going ballistic and shooting Zeke while they were driving. Noah was able to run and hide after the car rolled. And now blames himself for Zeke’s death. Colter corrects him and places all the blame solely on Ray’s shoulders.

A gunshot sets them in motion toward the road, but they don’t get far before Colter deposits Noah behind a tree to face whatever’s making noise. Colter discovers Tim has been shot and Noah joins them while Colter tends to Tim’s wound.

Tim swears he’ll be okay and wants Colter to get Noah out of there before Ray finds them. Colter hops on the phone and calls Bobby, telling him he’s got a man down. Bobby traces Colter’s location and sends it to the police, along with the warning the suspect is on the loose and armed and dangerous.

Colter and Noah continue toward the road, but Noah’s in pain and needs a brief break. They take a short water break and Ray finds them. Colter places his body in front of Noah as Ray holds them at gunpoint. Ray refuses to talk it through and suddenly Noah takes off running. Ray gives chase and starts shooting at Noah, which forces Colter to shoot him.

It’s not a fatal shot, and Colter follows up by knocking Ray out. Colter turns his attention back to Noah and heads toward the approaching sirens. Lisa, Erika, and Reenie are with the cops and ambulance. Erika hugs her son tightly, vowing never to let him go.

Tracker Season 1 Episode 4 Recap

The following day, Reenie and Colter say goodbye to Mr. Gilroy and learn that Tim Ritter’s going to be okay. Colter confesses he misjudged the school and has realized Noah only survived in the wild because of the outdoor skills he learned at Shelter Stone Academy.

Reenie gives Colter a hard time as they walk away, teasing him about admitting he misjudged something. She also thanks him for helping her friend, and hands over the reward money – family discount applied, of course.

The episode ends with Colter talking to Noah in his dorm room, and Noah seems happy to be back at school. Colter explains his dad used to give him and his brother something every time they learned a new skill. He hands Noah a rock he found while tracking him, suggesting that it can serve as a reminder of his survival and accomplishments.

‘The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live’ Sets AMC+ Record

The series premiere of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live proved a ratings winner for AMC and AMC+. The spinoff featuring fan favorites Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) began its first season by pulling in the biggest ratings of an AMC series since 2018.

According to the network, three million viewers watched the spinoff on its first night, earning it the top spot on the 2023/24 cable drama premiere chart in key demographics. Episode one also ranks as the most-watched episode of any series on AMC+.

“When we each began this extraordinary journey so many years ago, the most mind-meltingly beautiful moments have always been either with or about the fans. Playing trailers at San Diego Comic-Con, sharing the dark with 6,500 people, we both came to realize this is a story that is a connection between the passionate commitment of our remarkable crews and casts and the greatest fans in fandom,” said Lincoln and Gurira in a joint statement. “Telling this story from behind and in front of the cameras as a team has been a dream (sometimes a fever dream) and to see the response is even better than five pizzas and a wedding ring. We want to take this opportunity to thank those fans from the bottom of our blood-stained hearts. We all did this together. Big, Epic Love, Andrew and Danai”

The Ones Who Live is executive produced by Lincoln, Gurira, Denise Huth, Brian Bockrath, Greg Nicotero, and Scott M. Gimple, chief content officer of The Walking Dead Universe. Gimple also serves as the showrunner.

“On Sunday, we had an incredible reunion of TWD giants: Rick and Michonne — and the fans of The Walking Dead, both old and new,” said Gimple. “Danai and Andy’s mind-blowing work in front of and behind the camera, along with the efforts of a truly wonderful cast and crew was all for an audience we asked to believe just a little bit longer. We’re grateful they did.”

New episodes air on Sundays on AMC and AMC+ at 9pm.

“What a start for The Ones Who Live, the biggest episode of television in the history of AMC+ for both viewership and customer acquisition, the top cable drama of the current TV season in key demos and our biggest AMC series premiere in six years,” said Dan McDermott, president of entertainment and AMC Studios for AMC Networks. “This is a show the world, and particularly the incredibly passionate and engaged fans of this universe, have been waiting for and essentially willed into existence. Thanks to Danai, Andy and Scott for everything it took to get here and all that is yet to come. We can’t wait to share the rest of this incredible season with the fans over the next five weeks.”

In addition to Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, the series stars Pollyanna McIntosh, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Terry O’Quinn, Matthew August Jeffers, Craig Tate, Breeda Wool, and Andrew Bachelor.

After a two-week break, CBS’s So Help Me Todd will return with season two episode four, directed by Robin Givens. Dean Winters, best known for Allstate’s “Mayhem” commercials, guest stars in “Dial Margaret for Murder” airing on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 9pm ET/PT.

“Dial Margaret for Murder” Plot: While in the hospital recovering from an emergency appendectomy, Todd is convinced he overheard a plot to murder someone. When Margaret realizes her difficult but very important clients are interested in Todd’s theories, she jumps into the role of private investigator and brings them along for the ride.

Also, Todd gets to meet his personal guru, Dick Franks (Winters), a grizzled veteran private investigator who shares the hospital room with him.

So Help Me Todd stars Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin as razor-sharp, meticulous attorney Margaret Wright and Todd, her talented but scruffy, aimless son whom she hires as her law firm’s in-house investigator. As the black sheep of the well-heeled Wright family, Todd is a laidback, quick-thinking, excellent former private detective who fell on hard times after his flexible interpretation of the law got his license revoked.

Margaret’s penchant for excellence and strict adherence to the law is at complete odds with Todd’s scrappy methods of finding his way through sticky situations: by the seat of his wrinkled pants. When Todd inadvertently teams with his mother on a case, she’s surprised to find herself duly impressed by – and proud of – his crafty ability to sleuth out information with his charm and his wide-ranging tech savvy. At last, Margaret sees a way to put her son on a “suitable” path to living an adult, financially solvent life she approves of, and she asks him to join her firm. Todd agrees, since it means getting his license back and once again doing the job he excels at and loves.

Mother and son working together is a big first step toward mending their fragile, dysfunctional relationship, and they may even come away with a better understanding of each other at this pivotal point in their lives. But whether Todd and Margaret will be able to accept each other for who they are is another case entirely.
