After season 23, Blake Shelton, the final remaining original coach on The Voice, will be leaving his red swivel chair. However, Country music contestants need not worry as they will have a new coach who is well-versed in the genre. Reba McEntire, a Country Music Hall of Famer, will be taking over as a coach for season 24 of NBC’s The Voice.
Reba McEntire will join returning coaches John Legend, Niall Horan, and Gwen Stefani when the musical competition returns to the network’s primetime lineup this fall. The Country music superstar participated in season 23 as a mega mentor.
The first live shows of season 23 begin tonight at 8pm ET/PT with a two-hour semi-final. The remaining top eight contestants will perform live in front of coaches Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper, and Niall Horan for a shot at making it to the finale.
The Voice fans will be able to vote in real-time during the broadcast, and the contestants will learn their fates at the end of the show.
John de Mol created the series and serves as executive producer. Additional executive producers include Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson, and Adam H. Sher.
Reba McEntire recently starred alongside Katheryn Winnick, Kylie Bunbury, and Jensen Ackles on season three of ABC’s Big Sky. The network recently announced the drama created by David E. Kelley won’t return for season four.
CBS’s popular, long-running Blue Bloods finishes up season 13 with episode 21, guest starring Jennifer Esposito, Stacy Keach, Dylan Walsh, Sami Gayle, Peter Hermann, and Tony Terraciano. Directed by Alex Zakrzewski from a script by Siobhan Byrne O’Connor and Kevin Wade, episode 21 – “Forgive Us Our Trespasses” – will air on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT.
In March 2013, it was announced that CBS had renewed the primetime drama for season 14. The renewal was made possible after the stars and key producers agreed to a pay cut.
The cast is led by Tom Selleck as Frank Reagan, Donnie Wahlberg as Danny Reagan, and Bridget Moynahan as Erin Reagan. Will Estes stars as Jamie Reagan, Len Cariou is Henry Reagan, Sami Gayle is Nicky Reagan-Boyle, Marisa Ramirez plays Det. Maria Baez, and Vanessa Ray is Officer Eddie Janko.
“Forgive Us Our Trespasses” Plot: Danny and Baez team up with Danny’s old partner, Jackie Curatola (Jennifer Esposito), to find a copycat killer emulating murders from a previous case. Also, Frank and Mayor Chase (Dylan Walsh) battle over how best to handle the city’s rising homeless population. And Jamie, Eddie, and Erin team up to build evidence against a previously released man who they believe is again committing criminal assault.
Blue Bloods is a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan is the New York Police Commissioner, and heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry, during his stint as chief.
A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son, Danny, a seasoned detective, family man and Iraq War vet who on occasion uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his partner and new mother, Detective Maria Baez. Erin, the middle daughter, is a New York assistant D.A. who serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father, while also pursuing a run for district attorney. Jamie is the youngest Reagan, a Harvard Law graduate and the family’s golden boy.
Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie decided to give up a lucrative future in law and follow in the family footsteps as a cop. He’s found a friend and ally in his wife, Eddie, who keeps him on his toes, and has very different reasons than the Reagans for joining the police force.
Siya discovers new details about Meera’s past on NBC’s The Blacklist season 10 episode 13, “The Sicilian Error of Color.” Episode 13 will air on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT.
The final season cast is led by James Spader as Raymond “Red” Reddington. Diego Klattenhoff stars as Donald Ressler, Hisham Tawfiq plays Dembe Zuma, Anya Banerjee is Siya Malik, Sami Bray is Agnes, and Harry Lennix stars as Harold Cooper.

Bode faces the parole board on the season one finale of CBS’s Fire Country. Directed by Dermott Downes and written by Tia Napolitano, episode 22 – “I Know It Feels Impossible” – will air on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 9p ET/PT.
Max Thieriot leads the cast as Bode Donovan. Season one’s regulars include Billy Burke as Vince, Kevin Alejandro as Manny, Diane Farr as Sharon, Stephanie Arcila as Gabriela, Jordan Calloway as Jake, and Jules Latimer as Eve.
“I Know It Feels Impossible” Plot: The station 42 and Three Rock crews face a daring rescue when a massive mudslide tears through Edgewater. Meanwhile, Bode’s freedom is on the line at his parole hearing on the first season finale.
Fire Country stars Max Thieriot as Bode Donovan, a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence by joining a prison release firefighting program in Northern California, where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires across the region. It’s a high-risk, high-reward assignment, and the heat is turned up when Bode is assigned to the program in his rural hometown, where he was once a golden all-American son until his troubles began.
Five years ago, Bode burned down everything in his life, leaving town with a big secret. Now he’s back, with the rap sheet of a criminal and the audacity to believe in a chance for redemption with Cal Fire.
CBS’s CSI: Vegas finishes up season two with episode 21, written and directed by Jason Tracey. Episode 21 – “Dying Words” – will air on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT.
The network announced in February 2023 that CSI: Vegas will return for season three.
The second season stars Paula Newsome as Maxine Roby, Marg Helgenberger as Catherine Willows, Matt Lauria as Joshua Folsom, and Mandeep Dhillon as Allie Rajan. Ariana Guerra plays Detective Serena Chavez, Lex Medlin is Beau Finado, and Jay Lee is Chris Park.
“Dying Words” Plot: The CSI team investigates a murder case that hits close to home for Folsom – when he is forced to sit this investigation out, he does his own digging with help from Trey. Worried Folsom will do something he regrets if he gets his hands on the killer, the team members find themselves racing to arrest the suspect first.
CSI: Vegas, the sequel to the Network’s global hit CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, returns for a second season in Las Vegas – the city where it all began. Amidst the neon lights and long shadows, dark threats continue to lurk in Sin City. Maxine Roby leads her brilliant team of Crime Scene Investigators – Joshua Folsom, Allie Rajan, Detective Serena Chavez, Chris Park, and Beau Finado – as they use science to solve baffling cases. Catherine Willows returns to help the CSIs face off with a dealer of death who is planning to beat the odds in Las Vegas.
This combined force will deploy the latest forensic techniques to do what they do best – follow the evidence – in order to preserve and serve justice in Sin City.
This is it. CBS’s True Lies finishes up its short but sweet run with episode 13, the season (and series) finale. Written and directed by Matt Nix, episode 13 – “Waking Dreams” – airs on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT, immediately following episode 12.
Steve Howey stars as Harry and Ginger Gonzaga stars as Helen. The season one cast also includes Erica Hernandez as Maria, Omar Miller as Gib, Mike O’Gorman as Luther, Annabella Didion as Dana, and Lucas Jaye as Jake.

The renewed bond between them adds much-needed sizzle to the Taskers’ emotionally distant marriage and upends the top-secret world of Omega Sector.
But, as Harry says, if you’re going to save the world, you might as well do it for the ones you love.
The promo video for ABC’s Station 19 season six episode 18 teases the season finale is going to be a heartbreaker. Episode 18, “Glamorous Life,” will air on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 8pm ET/PT.

CBS’s FBI: Most Wanted season four episode 21 finds Remy shocked to discover a new clue in his brother’s murder case. Episode 21, “Clean House,” will air on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 10pm ET/PT.

FBI: Most Wanted is a high-stakes drama that focuses on the Fugitive Task Force, an elite unit that relentlessly pursues and captures the notorious criminals on the Bureau’s Most Wanted list. The team’s charming but formidable new leader is Supervisory Special Agent Remy Scott, who started his career in the New York FBI field office before rising through the ranks of the Bureau in Philadelphia and Las Vegas.
The team includes Special Agent Sheryll Barnes, a former NYPD detective and forensics expert who is raising two young children with her wife; Special Agent Hana Gibson, a gifted millennial computer whiz with a sharp wit and mad hacking skills; Special Agent Kristin Gaines, a Navy veteran who became a star in the FBI’s Miami Field Office as a result of her dogged pursuit of cold cases; and their newest member, former New Orleans cop-turned-junior detective Ray Cannon, who was recently working Violent Crimes in Albany after following in his retired FBI agent father’s footsteps and graduating at the top of his class at Quantico last year.

The CW continues to make big moves, canceling much of its original lineup (most recently Kung Fu and The Winchesters) as it figures out the direction to take under new owner Nexstar. Today they made another major move, picking up 61st Street after AMC canceled the drama.
The eight-episode first season starring Courtney B. Vance premiered on AMC on April 10, 2022. A second season was filmed, however, the series was canceled before it aired.
“61st Street is a gripping, star-studded premium drama led by a powerhouse performance from Courtney B. Vance and featuring an incredibly talented ensemble cast and creatively brilliant team of producers,” stated Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment, The CW Network. “We are proud The CW is now the broadcast home of 61st Street and cannot wait to introduce this series to a whole new audience.”
Season one will air on The CW this fall, with season two targeting a 2024 premiere.
In addition to two-time Emmy Award winner Courtney B. Vance (American Crime Story, Lovecraft Country), season one stars Emmy nominee Aunjanue Ellis (When They See Us), Mark O’Brien (City on a Hill), Holt McCallany (Mindhunter), Tosin Cole (Doctor Who), Andrene Ward-Hammond (Your Honor), and Bentley Green (Sweet Magnolias).

NBC’s 2023 fall lineup will include two new dramas and one new comedy, as well as new seasons of The Voice, Night Court, and Quantum Leap. The three Chicago shows – Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. – return to their Wednesday night time slots, and Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU are back with new seasons on Thursday nights.
The network hasn’t made any decisions on the status of American Auto, Grand Crew, and Young Rock, but did confirm new unscripted series Deal or No Deal Island and Untitled America’s Got Talent Series will premiere midseason. And Oscar winner Tom Hanks narrates the 10-part The Americas event series launching next spring.
New seasons of Law & Order: Organized Crime, La Brea, Magnum P.I., and Lopez vs. Lopez will join the primetime lineup midseason.
