Syfy’s SurrealEstate returns from the cancellation dead zone with season two starring Tim Rozon. Season two episode one, “Trust the Process,” is set to air on October 4, 2023, with new episodes following on Wednesdays at 10pm ET/PT.

Travel Channel’s The Ghost Town Terror returns for season two on September 28, 2023 with episodes that find the Broussard family under attack by supernatural entities. New episodes of the six-episode season will air on Thursdays at 9pm ET/PT.
Travel Channel released the following description of the upcoming season:
“On the outskirts of Anaconda, Montana sits Gunslinger Gulch – a sprawling ghost town and guest ranch. When the Broussard family answered the beckoning call of a new life in Big Sky Country, they soon discovered the ranch offered anything but the serene Montana lifestyle. Instead of peace, menacing supernatural activity plagued the family.
This season, a home chimney fire becomes a catalyst for new, threatening, dark activity, and the paranormal team is called back into action. Paranormal investigator Tim Wood and paranormal researcher Sapphire Sandalo return to Gunslinger Gulch to embark upon a two-fronted war: simultaneously battling sinister energies threatening both the Broussard Family at the ranch and the local Montana citizens.”

Scott Di Lalla joins the fray as Tim and Sapphire use hypnosis to uncover secrets from the Broussard family’s past. But a sinister spirit attachment hinders the experiment. Frustrated, the team seeks out the Darkness in two abandoned hospitals.

Oxygen’s set an October 1, 2023 premiere date for season two of the true crime series Final Moments. The series, which just dropped a new trailer, focuses on the last movements of murder victims and how retracing victims’ final steps plays into catching killers.
New episodes of the 16-episode second season will air on Sundays at 7pm ET/PT.

The good news? AMC Networks has officially renewed Dark Winds for a well-deserved third season. The bad news? The drama, based on the Leaphorn & Chee book series by Tony Hillerman, isn’t expected to return with new episodes until early 2025.
Zahn McClarnon (The Son), Kiowa Gordon (Roswell, New Mexico), and Jessica Matten (Burden of Truth) lead the cast of the critically acclaimed drama and are expected to return for season three. Season two also featured Deanna Allison (Accused) as Emma Leaphorn and Elva Guerra (Reservation Dogs) as Sally Growing Thunder.
Season two guest stars included Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Picard) as Rosemary Vines, Nicholas Logan (Dopesick) as Colton Wolf, A Martinez (Longmire) as Valencia County Sheriff Gordo Sena, and Joseph Runningfox (The Politician) as Henry Leaphorn, Lt. Joe Leaphorn’s father.

Dark Winds premiered in June 2022, and season two debuted in July 2023. Viewership increased from season one to season two, with the second season averaging 1.7 million viewers.

In the show’s second season, Lt. Joe Leaphorn (McClarnon), reunites with Jim Chee (Gordon), his former deputy turned private eye, when their separate cases bring them together in pursuit of the same suspect. They find themselves in the high desert of Navajo Country chasing a killer who’s turned his sights on them to protect a secret that rips open old wounds and challenges Leaphorn’s moral and professional code.
With the help of Sgt. Manuelito (Matten) and Valencia County Sheriff Gordo Sena, Leaphorn and Chee must thwart their would-be assassin and restore balance not only to their own lives, but to the reservation that depends on them.
Zak Bagans and his team of paranormal investigators – Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley – explore Angel Island on the two-hour Ghost Adventures: Devil Island special that kicks off the new season of Ghost Adventures. The trailer for the expanded special finds the team getting freaked out as they investigate the strange occurrences on the creepy deserted island.
At one point in the trailer, Bagans declares this the “scariest job in the entire world.”

“The new season begins with the two-hour special which follows the crew as they investigate the deceptively named Angel Island across the San Francisco Bay. Addition locations featured in the new season include Nevada’s mystical Sutro Ghost Town, Scotty’s Castle in Death Valley, Orcutt Ranch in Los Angeles, and an isolated, former ranch off the coast of Utah’s Great Salt Lake.
In the trailer for Paramount+’s Louis Tomlinson: All Of Those Voices, the former One Direction member confesses he thought it was the band or nothing. “It was hard for me to imagine myself on my own. I didn’t see a way back, not even musically, just to do anything,” says Tomlinson.
With input from his mom, Louis Tomlinson set out to make music on his own. The stars aligned, and Tomlinson confirms he finally feels worthy of where he is and what he’s doing.
Directed by Charlie Lightening (Liam Gallagher: As It Was), the documentary film offers a behind-the-scenes look at Tomlinson’s personal life and music career. “I’m really excited to announce that All Of Those Voices will be available to stream on Paramount+,” stated Louis Tomlinson. “This film means everything to me, and I’m looking forward to having it out there in the world!”

Percy describes himself as a troubled kid with bad grades and problems with bullies in the new teaser for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. But those teen issues are nothing compared to his strange ability to see mythological creatures, and the teaser also reveals how Percy learns half bloods and Greek gods really exist.
The teaser arrived along with a batch of photos from the upcoming fantasy adventure series.

Roald Dahl’s bestselling The Twits, published in 1980, is being adapted into an animated feature film set to stream on Netflix in 2025. The upcoming animated movie, which just released its first official photo, marks the first time Roald Dahl’sThe Twits has been adapted for the screen.
The film’s director, writer, and producer Phil Johnston (Oscar nominee, Ralph Breaks the Internet) has a special connection to the source material.
“I’ve always been attracted to reprehensible characters,” explained Johnston. “I don’t know what this says about me, and I really don’t want to look into it. Point is, The Twits was my favorite book when I was a kid. I love the Twits and their terrible tricks. I love that they lack self-awareness and personal hygiene and any inkling of human decency. And I love this movie because it reminds us that twits like the Twits, whose default emotions are anger and vengeance, can’t be allowed to win in our world.”
Katie Shanahan and Todd Demong are co-directors, with Meg Favreau co-writing the screenplay with Johnston. The Boss Baby‘s Jellyfish Pictures is in charge of the animation.
Netflix also has an animated adaptation of Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in the works. And a live-action short film based on Dahl’s short story “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar” is set to premiere on Netflix on September 27, 2023. Wes Anderson adapted Dahl’s story and directed the short film starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Ralph Fiennes.

Prime Video’s The Boys spinoff, Gen V, explores how young superheroes learn to handle their special abilities. It’s not like they can practice setting themselves on fire or altering their size at a normal high school, so these budding superhero superstars attend Godolkin University. (Think Hogwarts but for supes.)
Prime Video promises this spinoff will retain the dark humor of The Boys while focusing on the next generation of supes.
“I think part of the thing that audiences love is that they’re taking the piss out of all of the exhaustive superhero explorations that we’ve seen and turning it all on its head,” explained Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon and MGM Studios in an interview with EW. “But I actually think they’ve done it so well that they have earned the right to expand and explore. So, the same irreverence that The Boys has is in Gen V. And at the same time that we are definitely growing the universe, we’re also unafraid to make fun of ourselves in doing it.”
Gen V will premiere on Prime Video on September 29, 2023 with the release of the first three episodes. New episodes arrive on Fridays, with the finale set for November 3.

The Cast and Characters:
The new generation of superheroes possess bizarre superpowers, including the ability to weaponize blood, get super small, and switch between male and female forms. Plus, Gen V serves up a superhero capable of lighting his body on fire and one with super-strength and invulnerability.
Here are the official descriptions of the key characters from season one of The Boys spinoff:
Jaz Sinclair plays Marie Moreau, an 18-year-old superhero with the ability to control and weaponize her own blood. As an incoming freshman at Vought-run Godolkin University, she is eager to prove she has what it takes to join The Seven, but is sidetracked by a mystery she begins to unravel at the school.
Chance Perdomo plays Andre Anderson, a junior at Godolkin University with magnetic powers. He’s Golden Boy’s best friend and the son of famous superhero, Polarity; Andre has big shoes to fill as he’s set to take over the Polarity name once his dad retires. When Andre realizes that something is afoot at the school, he takes it into his own hands to try and figure out the mystery.
Lizze Broadway plays Emma Meyer, who is also known by her superhero name, Little Cricket, for her ability to get super small. Though insecure and naive, which often leaves her in compromising positions, she becomes close friends with her freshman roommate, Marie, and together they navigate the mysterious dangers at Godolkin University.
Shelley Conn plays Indira Shetty, the dean of Godolkin University. She doesn’t have powers, but her background in superhero psychology and her peerless ability to analyze what makes supes tick make her indispensable to the school. Her goal is to transform Godolkin University into the most elite college for supes, and she takes a special interest in Marie when she arrives on campus.
Maddie Phillips plays Cate Dunlap, a junior at Godolkin University who is good friends with Jordan and Andre. Cate is able to push people to do anything she commands using the touch of her hands, which she uses to her advantage. Powerful and confident, she’s also Luke’s girlfriend, making her one of the most popular supes on campus.
London Thor and Derek Luh play Jordan Li, a competitive student at Godolkin University who will do anything to get to the top. They have a unique ability of changing between male and female forms, through which different powers manifest — the man is dense and indestructible, while the woman is agile and can launch energy blasts. Their distinct sets of powers make them a standout TA at Brink’s School of Crime Fighting.
Asa Germann plays Sam, a troubled supe who is desperately trying to escape his unfortunate circumstances. He’s extremely powerful, with super strength and invulnerability. Despite having a good heart, he’s plagued by his hallucinations, which sometimes make it hard for him to discern between what is — and is not — reality.
Patrick Schwarzenegger plays Luke Riordan, who is also known by his superhero name, Golden Boy, because of his ability to light his entire body on fire. He is a senior at Godolkin University and is in the top rank, having the brightest prospects of joining The Seven.
Sean Patrick Thomas plays Polarity, Andre’s father and largely celebrated Godolkin University alumnus and trustee. Polarity expects his son to follow in his footsteps by taking over the Polarity name when he retires. He believes Andre is destined for The Seven and will stop at nothing to make his dream become reality.
Clancy Brown plays Professor Rich “Brink” Brinkerhoff, a renowned professor of crime fighting at Godolkin University who taught superheroes such as A-Train, Queen Maeve, and The Deep. He is dedicated to finding the top new talent at Godolkin University to join The Seven, and believes Golden Boy has what it takes to be next.
Marco Pigossi plays Dr. Edison Cardosa, a gifted doctor with ties to Godolkin University.

Marvel Studios’ short Loki season two featurette finds the cast, including Tom Hiddleston and Sophia Di Martino, discussing the new season. Di Martino reveals the stakes are higher in this upcoming season. She also points out we’ll get to see Hiddleston in a suit. “A lot of people will like that,” says Di Martino, smiling.
“We introduce this whole new corner to the MCU and these new characters,” confirms executive producer Kevin R. Wright. And speaking of new characters, Oscar-winner Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once) says he’s been a fan of the MCU for a long time. “I’m so grateful to be a part of this amazing series,” says Huy Quan.
The season two cast also includes Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Tara Strong, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, Jonathan Majors, and Owen Wilson.
