The CW’s reboot of 1998’s Charmed is set to debut on October 14, 2018. The new take on the story of sister witches will air on Sundays at 9pm ET/PT, immediately after the fourth season of Supergirl.

Season one episode one was directed by Brad Silberling. Jessica O’Toole and Amy Rardin wrote the pilot’s script.

The cast of Charmed is led by Melonie Diaz as Mel Vega, Sarah Jeffery as Maggie Vera, and Madeleine Mantock as Macy Vaughn. The cast also includes Rupert Evans, Ser’Darius Blaine, Charlie Gillespie, and Ellen Tamaki. Jessica O’Toole, Amy Rardin, Jennie Snyder Urman, Ben Silverman, Brad Silberling, and Carter Covington executive produce.

The “Pilot” Plot: SERIES PREMIERE — After the tragic death of Mel (Diaz) and Maggie’s (Jeffery) mother, the sisters struggle with moving forward but face another huge shock when they learn they have an older sister, Macy (Mantock). With the emotions of all three sisters running high, each of the girls suddenly exhibit impossible new abilities: Mel can freeze time, Maggie starts hearing others’ thoughts and Macy has telekinetic powers.

While trying to understand their new powers, Harry Greenwood (Evans), gathers the sisters and reveals they’re actually powerful witches, as was their mother. He also lets them in on a little secret, he’s not really a professor, he’s their “Whitelighter,” a witch’s advisor and guide. The sisters must make the decision to accept their new destiny as The Charmed Ones…and their new duty to protect humankind from the demons that walk among us…one of whom killed their mother.

Madchen Amick Interview on ‘Riverdale’ Season 3 and Alice Joining a Cult

The CW’s Riverdale season three will find all of the characters including Alice Cooper (Mädchen Amick) dealing with heavy issues. For Alice, it’s actually the fact she doesn’t want to deal with the reality that she was married to a killer that drives her into joining a cult.

During the 2018 New York Comic Con, Mädchen Amick took part in roundtable interviews to delve into the show’s third season. Riverdale season three premiered on October 10th, with the new season airing Wednesday nights at 8pm ET/PT.

Riverdale takes the cast in dark and twist places. What can we expect from Alice in season three?

Mädchen Amick: “She goes into full cult hippie mode. She’s in complete denial as to having a serial killer for a husband, so she’s reached out for the nearest thing to comfort her which is probably not the best thing for her. But, she’s full in. Three months have gone by over the summer and she’s completely bought in.”

How will that affect her relationship with Betty?

Mädchen Amick: “Betty doesn’t like it because, you know, Betty’s smart. She sees right through stuff. Alice is just like, ‘No, it would be good for you, too.’ She wants them all to go together and everything’s going to be fine. But, of course, Betty’s like, ‘No.’ So, yeah, that’s what’s going to cause the rift between them for the moment.”

Is there anyone that Alice is going to be teaming up with or depending on since her relationship isn’t good with Betty at this point?

Mädchen Amick: “Well, I mean they kind of always have this thing where they’re at odds but then when their family’s threatened they always come together. They drop all issues with each other and go to bat for each other. So, we’re definitely tested. Betty and Alice in particular in one episode are in a lot of danger so they come together and have to fight.”

Will Alice be trying to indoctrinate other members of the Riverdale community into the Farm? Like, FP for example?

Mädchen Amick: “I’m hearing that there’s going to be quite an infiltration of the Farm and I think Alice is going to be involved in it. I don’t know how that’s going to flesh out, but I’m hearing inklings of it. It’s going to weave its web into the entire town.”

Would you consider the Farm to be the big bad of this season?

Mädchen Amick: “I think it’s the big bad maybe of the second part. It’s kind of being established in the first. We’ve got the Gargoyle King and everything that happens with that. And then we also have Hiram, you know? We just can’t get rid of that villain. So, the Farm I think becomes a bigger looming threat overall.”

Since there’s a flashback episode and we see a younger version of Alice, is there anything in that episode that you learned about her that you didn’t know before?

Mädchen Amick: “I mean, I think I pretty much already assumed what we learned. But it was really fun to see that fleshed out and how different she was as a teenager.”

Some of the best Alice scenes are when she goes full Serpent. Will that happen this season?

Mädchen Amick: “We haven’t had a Serpent mode yet, but I think Serpent mode is always on standby. She’s always got her Serpent mode switch. If she needs it, she can pull it out. But I would love to see her get back to Serpent Alice. That’s badass.”

Cedric Yarbrough Interview: ‘Speechless’ and ‘Paradise PD’

Cedric Yarbrough in Speechless
Mason Cook, Micah Fowler, Kyla Kenedy and Cedric Yarbrough in ‘Speechless’ (ABC/Angus Young)

Speechless returned for a third season on October 5, 2018 as part of the relaunch of ABC’s TGIF Friday Night. With the DiMeos still out of a house, they went to London, so this week will see them come back home to sort it all out.

Cedric Yarbrough was at ABC’s presentation day for the Television Critics Association and Showbiz Junkies was able to talk with him one on one about what’s in store for Kenneth and JJ (Micah Fowler) this season. Speechless airs Fridays at 8:30pm ET/PT on ABC, and you can also hear Yarbrough’s voice on Netflix’s new animated series Paradise PD.

After a few seasons, has Kenneth gotten a better sense of being JJ’s voice?

Cedric Yarbrough: “Yes, especially that first season, it was rocky. Kenneth had never been an aid to anyone before. So, with that, you kind of have to learn your person, as he has to learn me. We’re still doing that. We’re still in the process of learning each other and JJ may be going on to college this year, so we’re also trying to figure out what that’s going to mean with the family and particularly with Kenneth. Will Kenneth still be with the family? Will Kenneth still be with JJ? We’re all figuring that out. And even as an actor, I took a little while to figure out what this show is and how I fit in. Kenneth is more comfortable, but I think we all are learning each episode.”

Which episode in season one do you think was where you got it?

Cedric Yarbrough: “It’s interesting that you ask that because when I do the character of Kenneth, I’m supposed to be reading for JJ. Now Micah’s not actually pointing at anything on the board for me to read. What I have to do is memorize what he’s going to say.”

The laser is added in post?

Cedric Yarbrough: “They add the laser in post. It looks great. It looks fantastic but people don’t really realize, it’s kind of a schizophrenic monologue that I have to process. So, I’m reading for him, pretending to read for him and then responding as Kenneth. So, you would hear the difference between those two characters, at least that’s what I’m trying to do. To be able to give him his voice, his inflection but also pretend like I’m reading. So that was a process for me.

Around the Halloween episode is when I finally started to get what this means and how hard it’s going to be to try to do that each week. It’s still quite difficult but I’m getting more and more used to it. It’s a schizophrenic monologue that I have to do each and every week, but it’s challenging, it’s fun. I’m glad that it looks like I’m actually reading. It looks like he’s pointing.”

Is Kenneth part of the family now?

Cedric Yarbrough: “Oh, Kenneth is definitely part of the family now. Sometimes family isn’t just blood. You choose. Kenneth has definitely chosen to be a part of their family and luckily they’ve also chosen Kenneth to be part of theirs.”

What else is coming up in season three besides impending college?

Cedric Yarbrough: “Well, last year the DiMeos went through a lot of problems, whether it be losing their house, or JJ is now graduating from high school. We ate a lot of our vegetables last year. This year I think we’re going to have a lot more fun. JJ is going to go on to college, I believe. Ray is going to try to meet some more girls. I believe Kenneth might even have a love life this year, so we’re going to have a lot more fun and we’re really excited to be a part of TGIF and carry on that tradition.”

You’re playing two animated cops now?

Cedric Yarbrough: “I am. They keep pulling me back in, as Al Pacino would say. We’re doing Paradise PD on Netflix. It’s probably the dirtiest material I’ve ever done. It’s quite explicit but for those who love animation and love that kind of material, they’re going to eat it up.”

Is it anything like Reno 911 playing an incompetent cop?

Cedric Yarbrough: “Doing an animated cop is very different than the one I did on Reno. Reno was all improvised and flying by the seat of our pants. This is very, very written. Netflix has to approve of everything. But I love animation, I love live-action. Very different, but I love the work.”

‘Fresh Off the Boat’ Interview: Hudson Yang, Forrest Wheeler and Ian Chen

Fresh Off the Boat Cast
Randall Park, Constance Wu, Hudson Yang, Ian Chen, Forrest Wheeler and Lucille Soong in ‘Fresh Off the Boat’ (ABC/Bob D’Amico)

Fresh Off the Boat is back, only it’s on a new night now. Hopefully you tuned into the season premiere on Friday night, which saw Jessica’s book left in the dust by Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, and Honey had her baby.

Over the summer, the Huang kids, Hudson Yang, Forrest Wheeler, and Ian Chen, attended the Television Critics Association press tour and Showbiz Junkies got a moment with them one on three. Fresh off the Boat season five is airing Friday nights at 8pm ET/PT on ABC.

What funny stuff is coming up this season?

Hudson Yang: “I know one thing. Eddie is getting close to the age where he can drive, as am I and I am very excited for that. I myself am getting ready to start learning and getting ready to get my permit so that’s one thing.”

Forrest Wheeler: “Evan and I will become more autonomous. We’re still codependent but we’re figuring ourselves out.”

Ian Chen: “I think Evan remains the naughty boy. His dad, Louis, is trying fit himself into Evan’s time. He’s trying to get close to Evan, getting to know him.”

Hudson Yang: “As any father would. Also, we’re losing one of our cast members, Luna [Blaise]. In the show she’s moving to New York. I’m really proud of her though. She has gotten her own show, so that’s amazing.”

It should be around 1998. That was before your time, but are there any fun 1998 milestones you enjoyed?

Hudson Yang: “There are parts in the show where they kind of kick stuff out. I don’t think any of us really get it because we were never really around. Even just filming with that time in mind, there are so many things we don’t know. I never knew what a Walkman was, so when I first heard of it, I was like, ‘Just like a movie player or something.'”

I loved the joke where you said, “Well, well, well, look who needs their little brother now” and then show up on the bus and say it again. How far apart did you shoot those scenes?

Hudson Yang: “They’re never really that close together. We always film things kind of out of order, but those two things were pretty close. I think it was a different day because we were on location.”

Ian Chen: “Yeah, but it was either the day before or the day after. They were really close too. I remembered how I did that line, so I tried to do the line the same way.”

It was exactly the same. You nailed it.

Ian Chen: “Thank you.”

Is it even harder to live with Jessica now that she’s a published author?

Hudson Yang: “I think it becomes hard because now she expects more.”

Forrest Wheeler: “She’s still our mom though. Moms will do anything for their children. She still loves us.”

Hudson Yang: “Unless there’s a mess in which case we’ve got to work harder.”

Forrest Wheeler: “That’s a problem.”

Is Eddie still working off his debt at Cattleman’s Ranch?

Hudson Yang: “He finally paid off his debt. I think Louis’ restaurant is now steady. Nothing crazy, nothing down, no sad news.”

Did any of you film something during the break?

Ian Chen: “I shot a movie in Toronto called Shazam.”

Hudson Yang: “He’s a star now.”

Ian Chen: “Yeah, a DC superhero movie.”

Are your scenes with Zachary Levi or with the other kids?

Ian Chen: “We’re seen all around so yeah, look out for that.”

Forrest Wheeler: “He can neither confirm nor deny.”

What was it like doing a big movie after doing a TV show?

Ian Chen: “It’s definitely a different experience. I think movies are more hectic I would say because they’re trying to fit so much in a small period of time. With Fresh Off the Boat you get to take your time and get to know these two more. How many days do you think we’ve spent together in total?”

Hudson Yang: “Well, we’ve been growing up together for almost 400 days now. An entire year together nonstop every day for like eight hours straight. So, I feel like I know these boys as well as I know my brothers at home.”

Brenton Thwaites Interview: ‘Titans,’ Playing Robin, the Costume, and Assembling a Team

DC Universe is set to launch with the premiere of Titans on October 12, 2018. The comic book inspired series follows Dick Grayson aka Robin (Brenton Thwaites) as he gathers together a team of superheroes. Based on the Teen Titans series, Titans also stars Teagan Croft as Rachel Roth/Raven, Anna Diop as Kory Anders/Starfire, Ryan Potter as Gar Logan/Beast Boy, Minka Kelly as Dawn Granger/Dove, and Alan Ritchson as Hank Hall/Hawk.

DC Universe brought the Titans ensemble to the 2018 New York Comic Con to participate in a panel which included a screening of the series’ first episode. The Titans cast also participated in roundtable interviews to discuss their characters and what’s in store for the series’ first season. During our interview, Brenton Thwaites talked about getting into Robin, the dynamics of the team, and putting on his costume for the first time.

Season one of Titans will consist of 11 hour-long episodes. Prior to its debut, DC Universe has already announced the series will return for a second season.

What did you pull from getting into the character?

Brenton Thwaites: “Definitely that search for identity was one thing that I pulled from. I think we can all connect to that, not knowing where to go or what to do. Maybe a little bit of regret for the past, guilt…there’s touches in there that I really wanted to explore with Dick. I wanted to feel like when you saw him there was inner problems going on that’s going to take a long time to fix. There’s a darkness and a sadness that’s deeper than just getting a full night of sleep. It’s going to take a long time to iron out these deep, grounded, emotional issues that we do see in flashbacks throughout the series.

And we all know from the comic books his time with Batman and living with Bruce at the mansion, things didn’t go so smoothly. It was nice to start the story from that point of view, from a place where we would most likely end the story. To be honest, it was really the fact that I was given the material to do that, given the mission to bring that to the character. The writers really wanted to show that side of Dick Grayson, as opposed to just seeing Robin kick ass. They wanted to explore who was the guy behind the mask and what kind of pain was he going through.”

When you researched the comics were there any Robin or Nightwing moments that really made an impression on you?

Brenton Thwaites: “You know what? The comics were so different to our story. Every comic that I read, in terms of the relationships and the way that the costume worked out, were very different characters to who I would use for stimulus to create a character. So, although the stories are similar – it’s all the same people from the comic books – ours and how we built our relationships were pretty unique to how we built this series.”

Can you say how soon Jason Todd shows up in the season? Will you become Nightwing?

Brenton Thwaites: “So midway through the first season Jason Todd comes up and he’s basically used as a way to describe to the audience what it is like currently working with Batman. We’ve seen flashbacks of this and that, but we get the current Robin coming in and saying, ‘This is what it’s like with Batman right now.’ And we see that Robin is right; Dick Grayson was right. It’s not great. The current Robin’s ideals are maybe a little less just than what he would have thought.

In the first season, I don’t know. We did shoot a little bit of stuff, but they may want to cut it. I really don’t know if they’re going to tease us with it. But, I do transition into… Well, I don’t really. You see me learning and putting away Robin and trying to ask my fellow Titans – in a weird way – ask for their opinion without asking, obviously. But whether I become that character or not in the first season, you’ll just have to wait.”

Titans star Brenton Thwaites

Can you talk about getting into the costume for the very first time? Is it easy to do the action while wearing it?

Brenton Thwaites: “The first time it wasn’t that easy, but I say that as a very loosely dressed person. I don’t wear suits that often. Anything tight on my body and I get… So, the costume design was very actor-friendly. I could do all my own stunts. It never prohibited me from doing anything, so that’s saying something. Hawk could barely scratch his ass. A lot of the guys on Doom Patrol had major time issues getting into their suits, and mine was very seamless in that regard. But, at the same time, you’re in it for so long. You’re in it for 16 hours and you’re sweating in it, you’re fighting in it. After a while it becomes quite comfortable because it’s broken down. So, at the beginning I was complaining like a little girl but towards the end it wasn’t so bad.”

How do you see Dick’s relationship with each of the different Titans in season one?

Brenton Thwaites: “Dick has responsibility to hold it together as the leader of the group. I feel like he is the one who’s held responsible for a lot of bad decisions. We see him forming bonds with Rachel Roth, taking on that protective father figure role. You see him do that to Gar Logan as well, and also Kory somewhat. But he makes mistakes. He breaks those bonds. So, we see him kind of getting closer in friendship to these people but also kind of stuffing everything up. We see him learning how to become that leader. It’s not just all-on from the get-go. He fails a lot. He’s trying to figure out who he is at the same time he’s trying to keep the crew protected and safe.”

Is he a reluctant leader or does he embrace that role?

Brenton Thwaites: “Reluctant leader.”

‘Mayans M.C.’ Season 1 Episode 6 Recap: “Gato/Mis”

Mayans M.C. Season 1 Episode 6 Recap
JD Pardo as EZ Reyes in ‘Mayans M.C.’ season 1 episode 6 (Photo by Prashant Gupta/FX)

The sixth episode of season one of Mayans M.C. it titled in part as ‘Gato’ and that is exactly the first thing you see as the episode opens. Stray cat meet wandering rebel camp. Adelita (Carla Baratta) is going through accounts receivable rather aggressively with one of her lieutenants when EZ (JD Pardo), Coco (Richard Cabral), and Angel (Clayton Cardenas) pull up. Adelita greets them and is teased by one of the bambinos that Angel is her boyfriend.

She appears to have made the mistake of writing down their coordinates on a sheet of paper, so it could be given to those on the sending end of the accounts receivable line items. The very young double agent just so happens to be standing nearby to see the location Adelita wrote down.

Angel tells Adelita they need to talk alone for a minute. They step inside the tent, and he lays it all out for her that he’s in real trouble with his club and needs to understand the full scope of the plan. He thinks she has hundreds of people depending on her, so he wants her to be cautious. She corrects him and says she has thousands depending on her. Adelita is an alias. Her true name is Luisa Espina. Roll intro…

Back at the clubhouse, the concern is that the Vegas run went well to get the Chinese their product with the cooperation of Galindo’s group and the Mayans teaming up. The other item on the agenda is the secretive activities of Coco and Angel. A couple more weeks of surveillance are in order to assure Marcus Alvarez there aren’t any problems with the SoCal charter of the Mayans M.C.

Apparently, the pictures of his wife and kids shook Agent Kevin Jimenez (Maurice Compte) who’s overseeing EZ’s mole activities. Felipe (Edward James Olmos) can get to the marrow of a man pretty quickly, it seems. Kevin, off duty, shows up concerned and drunk enough to ask straight out if the old man would really hurt his wife and kids. Felipe does not give him the answer he wants.

At the Galindo home, calm cometh with the dawn. Miguel (Danny Pino) and Emily (Sarah Bolger) appear to have patched up the cracks in the emotional foundation through the robust angry sex they had the night before. Emily was reviewing the deal with the development Miguel is undertaking, and she’s worried the mayor could make things difficult for the Galindo organization as a consequence. But Miguel is a substantial employer in the town, so he’s not concerned with the mayor’s potential reactions.

Adelita takes the pint-size mole working for Galindo with her to the market to execute a skillful drop-off. The kid performs an equally skillful delivery via phone of the coordinates he took from the notepad. This can’t turn out well.

Back at the yard, Bishop (Michael Irby) has Angel go with him and Coco is taken in another direction on club business. One hiccup… Coco’s wild child, Leticia, showed back up and he’s not given time to find out what she wants. Prospect must keep her there until he returns. Yeah, good luck with that, EZ.

Leticia (Emily Tosta) walks right out the door and, of course, EZ is forced to follow her. She asks for his help since her estranged dad had to leave. She pulls off her shirt to reveal a painful-looking set of bruises on her chest and side. He asks who did it, and she opens the trunk of her car to reveal the truck driver that took off with her a few days ago…complete with screwdriver to the carotid artery. Let the cleanup and coverup commence.

Back at Felipe’s home, he and Kevin have a cup of coffee and come to an understanding that EZ will not press Emily to roll on Galindo. Kevin and Felipe will have to figure out another way to satisfy the higher-ups.

Galindo’s given the location of the rebel encampment. Just as they’re about to group up and head for the location, Galindo finally receives a call from Adelita with the conditions on how to get his son back. Galindo has his people get the money together and then instructs them to slaughter the camp once he has his son back.

Back at the murder site with Coco’s daughter, EZ spies a Wildcats sticker on a car. He has a flashback to when his father’s store was broken into and he found his mother dead on the floor. He returns to the present to assess the task at hand: the murder in the big rig.

As he’s checking inside the truck, two men come up to the driver’s door. Presumably, they’re friends of the guy who was killed and ask ‘Jose’ (aka EZ) to get out of the truck. Naturally, a fight kicks off almost immediately. EZ’s doing well in this two-on-one scenario. He breaks one guy’s arm and knocks him cold. As he’s dodging the swinging tire iron in the hand of the second man, Leticia sticks another screwdriver in the back of the shoulder of the second guy. EZ says exactly what I’m thinking. What is this chick’s deal with screwdrivers and sticking them in people? Seriously!

They meet up with Angel and EZ brings him up to speed. They then head back to the yard but are spotted by a cop. Apparently, grandma didn’t take too kindly to having her car taken without her permission and reported it stolen. EZ = wrong place, wrong time KING!

Insert police chase here along with a flashback to EZ chasing down the car with the Wildcat sticker eight years earlier. EZ snaps his attention back to the current chase where he’s leading the cops into a farmer’s field, complete with water sprinklers on to feed the crops in the field. EZ causes one car to crash but knows he can’t outrun the rest. He puts one of the water hoses in the car to flood it and runs into the field to hide.

Galindo heads across the border per the agreement for the ransom, but not before giving the order to destroy the rebel camp again. He looks around and sits down on the Mexican side of the border to wait for the kidnappers.

Back at the yard, EZ makes it back okay. They tell Coco about their eventful afternoon at the hands of his daughter. Coco has to talk to his daughter to try to sort things out. EZ uses the bathroom in the yard’s office to clean up and overhears Bishop asking Chucky (Michael Ornstein) about the girl in Coco’s car. Bishop mistakenly believes she’s Adelita and Chucky doesn’t help things by trying to honor Coco’s request to keep his relationship to his daughter secret. EZ realizes the entire situation is going to go sour really quickly.

Meanwhile, Kevin’s still hanging out at Felipe’s house. Sheesh, he should just move in…dang. They’re going over the hidden history that includes the agent’s own father.

Mayans M.C. Season 1 Episode 6 Recap

Back just over the border, Galindo still waits. He gets a call that verifies the cash transfer and where to find his son. He quickly heads to a car in the parking lot described on the call and picks up his son from the back seat.

Emily’s on the other side of the fence and sees that Galindo retrieved their son and is attempting to get back across the border. Nestor gets the call to attack the camp at the same time, Galindo is pulled from the line and taken to another part of the border entry point.

The agents question Galindo and inspect the blanket the baby’s wrapped in, which, it turns out, is lined with drugs. The border patrol agents take the baby and arrest Galindo. The rebels are not so easily set aside, but we don’t know Nestor’s trick yet.

Well, Nestor doesn’t get to play his nasty trick. Galindo’s men arrive at the coordinates, but the building’s vacant. The rebels watch from a nearby rooftop. Adelita knew she had a mole and knew who it was. The little girl who befriended the mole is so angry she pushes him off the roof to his death. The day goes to the rebels, checkmate.

At the clubhouse, EZ tells Angel about the conversation he heard concerning Coco. They have to set that issue right before it costs Coco his life.

If you’re a fan of Sons of Anarchy, you’ll recognize a familiar face who arrives just as the episode closes.

‘The Flash’ Season 5 Episode 2 Preview and Photos: “Blocked” Plot and Air Date

‘Pet Sematary’ Trailer: Sometimes Dead is Better

The first official trailer for the 2019 horror film Pet Sematary shows that while it’s following Stephen King’s novel, it isn’t copying the original film adaptation beat for beat. The effects are, obviously, vastly improved and for some bizarre reason there are kids banging drums while wearing animal masks in the film’s first trailer.

The 2019 adaptation of Stephen King’s book stars Jason Clarke (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) as Louis Creed, Amy Seimetz (Stranger Things) as Rachel Creed, and two-time Oscar nominee John Lithgow (The World According to Garp, Terms of Endearment) as Jud Crandall. The cast also includes Hugo and Lucas Lavoie as Gage Creed, Jete Laurence (Friends from College) as Ellie Creed, and Obssa Ahmed (The Expanse) as Victor Pascow.

Scream: The TV Series‘ Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer directed the horror film from a script by Jeff Buhler (Nightflyers). Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Steven Schneider, and Mark Vahradian produced, with Mark Moran executive producing.

The first film version was directed by Mary Lambert from a script written by author Stephen King. Released on April 21, 1989, the classic horror film starred Denise Crosby, Dale Midkiff, Fred Gwynne, Brad Greenquist, and Blaze Berdahl.

Paramount Pictures is set to release Pet Sematary in theaters on April 5, 2019.

The Pet Sematary Synopsis:

“Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.”
