CBS’s new drama All Rise is taking a two week break and will return on Monday, November 18, 2019 at 9pm. Season one episode eight, “Maricela and the Desert,” was directed by Sheelin Cheksey from a script by Mellori Velasquez.
Sebastian Sozzi, Eva Ariel Binder, Kelly Frye, Kelvin Han Yee, Michael Provost, and Branton Box guest star in the new episode. Iris Almario, Eugene Byrd, Robert Gant, Caleb Foote, Ray Stoney, and Allison Bills also guest star in “Maricela and the Desert.”
Season one of the drama stars Simone Missick as Lola Carmichael, Wilson Bethel as Mark Callan, Marg Helgenberger as Lisa Benner, Jessica Camacho as Emily Lopez, J. Alex Brinson as Luke Watkins, Lindsay Mendez as Sara Castillo, and Ruthie Ann Miles as Sherri Kansky.
The “Maricela and the Desert” Plot – Lola and Emily find themselves on opposing sides when the key witness in a murder trial is the victim’s 11-year-old daughter. Also, when Mark’s key witness in a case winds up in a Vegas jail, Luke accompanies Mark on a road trip to the desert to bring the witness back to testify.
