Paramount Network’s released an action-packed teaser trailer for Yellowstone, a dramatic thriller from Oscar nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, Hell or High Water, and Sicario). Sheridan writes and directs the dramatic series set to debut on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT.
Kevin Costner leads a cast that includes Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Dave Annable, Danny Huston, Gil Birmingham, Josh Lucas, Jefferson White, Gretchen Mol, Jill Hennessey, Patrick St. Esprit, Ian Bohen, Heather Hemmons, and Denim Richards. Costner also serves as an executive producer along with Sheridan, John Linson, and Art Linson.
The Plot: In Yellowstone, Costner stars as John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, under constant attack by those it borders – land developers, an Indian reservation, and America’s first National Park. It is an intense study of a violent world far from media scrutiny – where land grabs make developers billions, and politicians are bought and sold by the world’s largest oil and lumber corporations. Where drinking water poisoned by fracking wells and unsolved murders are not news: they are a consequence of living in the new frontier. It is the best and worst of America seen through the eyes of a family that represents both.
Dave Annable plays John Dutton’s oldest son Lee, a cowboy, who serves as his father’s right-hand man in running the ranch. Gil Birmingham is Thomas Rainwater, a steely and proud Chief of an Indian Nation challenging the Dutton family. Luke Grimes stars as John Dutton’s youngest son Cory, an emotionally reserved ex-Navy SEAL who lives with his Native American wife and seven year old son on the reservation. Wes Bentley is John’s other son Jamie, a polished lawyer considering a career in politics who continues to seek approval from his father despite his love for the limelight.
Kelly Reilly plays John’s daughter Beth, a smart and powerful woman who is always prepared to fight alongside her father. Cole Hauser is Rip Wheeler, a tough and merciless wrangler from Yellowstone Ranch who will stop at nothing to get the job done.
Kevin Costner stars in Paramount Network’s dramatic series, ‘Yellowstone.’

Darren Criss as Andrew Cunanan, Cody Fern as David Madson, and Finn Wittrock as Jeffrey Trail in ‘The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story’ episode 6 (Photo by Ray Mickshaw/FX)
FX’s The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story returns after taking a week off with episode six airing on February 28, 2018. The episode begins with a flashback to La Jolla, California in 1996. Andrew Cunanan (Darren Criss) arrives at a gorgeous mansion after a day of shopping, heading outside to gaze at the Pacific Ocean naked before diving into the pool. Later, he carefully wraps a present before selecting items from a huge closet filled with expensive clothing.
It’s now one year before the murders of Jeff Trail, David Madson, Lee Miglin, William Reese, and Gianni Versace.
Andrew, striding through the house as if he owns the place, helps Norman (Michael Nouri) greet their party guests. It’s obvious Norman’s friends don’t like him, but fortunately, Andrew’s friends are also in attendance. Andrew confides in Elizabeth (Annaleigh Ashford) that he didn’t want Norman’s friends at his party and sort of admits he’s decided he’s gay. He confesses to being really into this guy David from San Francisco, and David’s supposed to show up soon.
He tells Elizabeth there’s nothing sexual going on with Norman; he’s just helping him out. Andrew can’t stop lying, and now he claims he’s an interior designer who curates Norman’s art. He thinks David is his future and wants to be someone David can love.
Jeff (Finn Wittrock) arrives as the party’s in full swing. Andrew takes him into a bedroom and gives him something to wear plus the gift he wrapped earlier. He wants Jeff to pretend it’s the gift he bought him for his birthday. Andrew explains it’s to impress David and make him believe he has good friends. He really wants Jeff to look the part, claiming he’s helped Jeff with countless guys. Jeff finally agrees, only because it’s Andrew’s birthday.
Andrew has one final lie he needs Jeff to go along with. He wants Jeff to say he’s still an officer in the Navy, even though Jeff has left that behind. Jeff reluctantly agrees to wear the shoes, but not the uniform.
David (Cody Fern) arrives and it’s like time freezes for Andrew. David flew in from Minneapolis just for the party, explaining he wanted to see where Andrew lived since Andrew’s so mysterious. Elizabeth joins them to praise Andrew in front of David, and it’s obvious David’s overwhelmed by the mansion and Andrew’s lifestyle.
Jeff plays the part by handing Andrew the gift in front of David. Jeff and David meet and when David says, “You’re the Naval officer,” Jeff doesn’t confirm that’s true. Instead, he says it’s a long, sad story. Elizabeth intrudes to move them to the terrace.
Andrew leaves them for a minute to snort cocaine. He’s caught by one of Norman’s friends who hates everything about Andrew. Norman just lost his partner to AIDS and his friend doesn’t want him to get hurt again. He doesn’t trust Andrew. (Smart man!)
Andrew spies Jeff and David laughing outside and breaks into their conversation to ask about Jeff’s boyfriend. Andrew also throws in the lie that he’s got a place in New York when David asks about where he sleeps in Norman’s house. David apparently hasn’t made sleeping arrangements and Jeff volunteers his couch. Andrew puts an end to that discussion by saying Jeff’s couch is dirty.
Lee Miglin (Mike Farrell) interrupts to wish Andrew a happy birthday. Andrew pretends not to remember Lee until Jeff and David walk away. Andrew’s angry Lee approached him in front of his friends, and Lee explains he couldn’t help but stare at Andrew with lust. Lee wants to give him a birthday gift in private, and Andrew puts him off and says they can do it later.
Andrew wants a photo alone with David but everyone, including Jeff, Lee, and Norman join the photo. Andrew’s smile doesn’t reach his eyes as Elizabeth snaps the photo.

The next day Andrew presents Norman with a list of demands including an increased allowance, first-class flights, and a Mercedes. Plus, he wants to be Norman’s sole heir since they’ve been together for over a year. Andrew reminds Norman he sacrificed everything to be with him, including his parents’ love. Andrew has told Norman his parents are millionaires who disowned him, but Norman surprises him by saying he’s checked on Andrew’s background. He knows Andrew isn’t Andrew DeSilva – he’s really Andrew Cunanan – and that he recently worked in a Thrifty’s Drug Store. Norman knows how much Andrew made and that he lived in a little condo with his mom, MaryAnn. Andrew is speechless and doesn’t have a comeback. All he can do is walk away.
Finally, Andrew and Norman admit they investigated each other. Norman reminds him they haven’t been intimate in three months, and Andrew assures him if he gets what’s on his list of demands, sex will become more regular.
Norman agrees to increase his living allowance but doesn’t agree to first-class flights. Norman wants Andrew to go back to college and get a degree, but Andrew again threatens to leave unless he gets what’s on the list. Norman assures Andrew he can have this life if he works for it, but Andrew’s upset he can’t have love if he lives this way. He thinks he lost David because of Norman, and Norman tells Andrew that if he makes him his heir, he must share his life only with him. Norman knows Andrew is already dreaming of the time when he’s not around. “If I can’t have love, I want that list,” replies Andrew. Norman says no and Andrew smashes a glass table. He then announces, again, that he’s leaving.
Andrew moves into a studio apartment in a lower-class neighborhood.
Jeff gets a phone call from his dad describing a postcard Andrew sent him that was signed, “Love, Drew.”
Jeff shows up at Andrew’s apartment, aware of what happened with Norman. Jeff’s upset about the postcard Andrew sent to his dad, but Andrew doesn’t own up to it. The postcard also mentioned Jeff bought Andrew expensive shoes, something that confused Jeff’s dad since he didn’t know his son is gay. Jeff took this as a threat and slams Andrew against the wall, demanding Andrew stay away from his family.
Jeff reveals he’s leaving San Diego to work at a propane gas company in Minneapolis. Andrew puts two and two together and realizes Jeff is going there to be with David. Andrew accuses him of trying to steal the one guy who likes him. However, Jeff says he’s doing it because he’s tired of being unhappy. As leaves, Andrew warns him to stay away from David.
Andrew (sounding incredibly hyper) calls David and invites him to accompany him on a business trip to Los Angeles, all expenses paid. Andrew says he already bought the plane ticket, but David is reluctant to meet up with him.
Andrew arrives in LA and checks into the penthouse of a 5-star hotel. He orders flowers and a car, and when David arrives Andrew is posing on the balcony. Andrew flew him out first class and David’s obviously impressed. Andrew claims to be done with his work, hinting that what he was working on has a lot of stars interested. He changes the subject and takes David shopping. He wants David to dress like the country’s most successful architect and he buys him an expensive suit which David wears out of the store.
Back at the hotel, room service delivers a gourmet dinner. David says this is all too much and offers to pay for half. He tells Andrew he’s not “the one” and apologizes. Andrew, getting emotional, tells him he is the one; he’s sure of it. “David Madson, you are the only one I have ever really truly loved,” says Andrew.
David admits there was one great night in San Francisco and he knows that can be life-changing. David thinks this weekend’s like recreating their first date, and he wanted to see if they could take the next step. David isn’t sure they can. Andrew tells him he’ll do what he wants, and David wants to get rid of the fancy meal. They take off their jackets and get down to the truth.
David asks about Andrew’s parents, and Andrew continues his lie about his dad running pineapple plantations. He says his mom ran a literary publishing house in New York. He claims they gave him everything he wanted when he was growing up, including the master bedroom.
Andrew asks about David’s parents and he reveals they run a small hardware store. Andrew interrupts David’s story to tell more lies about his childhood, not really listening to or interested in what David has to say. David ends the discussion by claiming he’s tired and ready for bed.
“David, I’m a good person who wants to be good to you,” says Andrew. David responds by telling Andrew that one day he’ll make someone very happy.
Back from the trip to LA, Andrew sits on his small bed in his tiny apartment and looks at the bill from the hotel. He charged over $2700 at the hotel during his weekend with David.
Later, Andrew tells a bartender about his trip and he can’t stop himself from lying. He reveals David agreed to spend the rest of his life with him. Andrew then buys drugs from a guy at the club, shoots up, and has a drug-induced dream about being fitted for a suit by Gianni Versace (Edgar Ramirez). Andrew tells Versace there’s no difference between them except that Gianni got lucky. Gianni argues the difference is he’s loved and Andrew’s not.
Back at the club, Andrew tells the same bartender he just took a trip to Paris with David. (The bartender knows he’s lying.) Andrew tells his drug dealer he needs more time, but the drug dealer tells him he needs more money.
Andrew heads over to Norman’s place and tries the doors and windows. They’re locked and he sees through a glass door that Norman’s inside. Andrew tries his keys in the front door, but they don’t work. Norman doesn’t let him in and instead calls the cops.
No choice left, Andrew shows up at his mom’s place. She’s surprised but happy to see him and confesses she thought he was in Milan. She helps him into the bath, singing a special lullaby as she washes his back. She asks why he smells bad and says he no longer smells like her son. She starts bathing him roughly, trying to scrub away the smell.
Andrew’s mom serves him food while going on and on about a friend of Andrew’s who can’t get a job. She tells him how she’s been telling this young man’s mother, a woman who looks down on her, about all the places Andrew has been traveling to across the globe working with Gianni Versace as a costume designer for Italian operas. She’s happy the woman is so jealous of Andrew’s life.
His mom says she wishes he could stay but she knows she must share him with the world. She gives him a big hug by his car and is surprised when he says the next city he’s visiting is Minneapolis. She kisses him and Andrew, clearly depressed, drives away.
“Someone very smart and very dangerous is coming after you,” says Barry (Grant Gustin) to Izzy Bowin (Miranda MacDougall). Izzy was on the bus the day Barry was brought out of the Speed Force and is now a meta in season four episode 14 of The CW’s The Flash.
As the episode begins, Barry walks back into the CCPD happy to resume his job of being the city’s CSI. After being met with some weird (and rude) looks by some of his co-workers, Barry is told that his boss, Captain Singh (Patrick Saboguni), wants to see him. Barry learns that even though he’s been cleared of all charges, some people feel he doesn’t belong there anymore, including the city’s new mayor. Singh tells Barry he’s on a permanent leave of absence until people in Central City believe that DeVoe is truly alive and well and the conspiracy theories of DeVoe being a meta imposter no longer exist.
Barry heads to S.T.A.R. Labs where Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) tries to reassure him his leave of absence won’t be forever because they gave him his I.D. badge back. She suggests he just try and ride it out.
Iris (Candice Patton) tells Barry this could be for the best and that now with him being The Flash full time he can prove that DeVoe is alive and stop his evil master plan. Barry says they need to focus on finding the last four metas who were created on the bus before DeVoe does.
Ralph (Hartley Sawyer) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) arrive with a box of things left on the bus that ended up in the lost and found. While going through it, they come across a CD and Cisco vibes it and sees a young female Country singer. He also sees where her next gig is scheduled to take place. Barry and Ralph take off to try to talk to her.
DeVoe – now using the body of Becky (Sugar Lyn Beard) – is in his lair watching the Country singer, but h3’s not that impressed with her. DeVoe’s wife Marlize (Kim Engelbrecht) is concerned because the body of Becky is getting weaker and weaker at an increased rate.
Barry and Ralph visit the singer whose name is Izzy Bowin. She playfully flirts with them, thinking they’re fans. When Barry tells her she’s in danger and tries to convince her to leave with them, she declines and uses her powers to send them flying across the room. It seems that Izzy can manipulate sound waves.
Back at S.T.A.R. Labs, Caitlin is checking on Barry and Ralph’s ears, assuring them they should be fine since Ralph’s eardrums stretched and with Barry’s fast-healing abilities, he should be okay in an hour.
Iris checks Izzy’s website at the recommendation of Ralph and finds where her next gig is. This time Barry, Ralph, and Cisco go to talk to her but as their alter egos The Flash, Elongated Man, and Vibe.
Over at Jitters, Harry (Tom Cavanagh) and Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) accidentally bump into each other. Cecile tells Harry that her new power of reading minds is keeping her up all night because she can’t stop herself from reading Joe’s mind while he sleeps. Intrigued and wanting to help, Harry offers to make something to help her.
The Flash, Elongated Man, and Vibe find Izzy in the parking area outside her next gig and try to warn her someone is after her because of her new powers. DeVoe shows up and uses his new meta powers on Ralph, forcing him to wrap around Vibe and The Flash so he can go after Izzy. Izzy uses her powers to blast DeVoe and send him flying. Marlize shows up and quickly gets DeVoe out of there, almost as though she breached in and out like Vibe.
Back at S.T.A.R. Labs, Team Flash is telling Izzy why DeVoe is after her and why they want her to stay with them. Barry assures Izzy the team can train her to use her new powers to fight DeVoe. Being a little freaked out, defensive, and not wanting to lose her recording opportunity, Izzy tells the group no thanks and starts to leave. Ralph’s sure he can convince her to stay so he follows her and gives her a pep talk, just like Barry, Caitlin, and Killer Frost had delivered when he needed it. Ralph says he understands how she feels because he was where she is not long ago but since he became friends with Barry and his team, he’s not alone. He explains they use the buddy system to help each other. Starting to like Ralph, she agrees to stay if he becomes her new “buddy.”
Cecile finds Harry at Cisco’s work area and gives him his new device back saying it’s way too big and heavy for her to try to sleep in. They fight about it and Harry’s frustrated as Cecile walks out.
Izzy begins training with Ralph and Barry using her violin to focus and aim her sound wave powers, but it doesn’t last and she keeps missing her target (Ralph). Barry, impatient about stopping DeVoe, pushes Izzy too hard and she ends up getting hit with some shrapnel from some of the targets she’s aiming at.
While Caitlin tends to Izzy’s wounds, Iris has her own heart-to-heart with Barry telling him he needs to ease up on Izzy. However, Barry reminds Iris she didn’t see what DeVoe did to the metas he stole powers from and then killed. It still bothers Barry he couldn’t save any of them, especially Becky, and he’s afraid if they don’t get Izzy up to speed fast, her fate will be the same. Iris sympathizes with Barry about what he went through but still insists turning Izzy into a weapon is the wrong thing to do.
Harry visits Cecile at Joe’s house and apologizes for his outburst and angry thoughts. He gives her a new, smaller mental dampener and starts to explain to her how it works when he realizes that Team Flash can use it to fight DeVoe.
Harry rushes back to S.T.A.R. Labs and creates the cerebral inhibitor which, when he tells the group about it, they remember Savitar telling them about how they would create it to fight DeVoe. Barry says with this and Izzy’s new powers they should be able to defeat DeVoe.
Ralph arrives just then and reveals Izzy left after Caitlin treated her wound because Barry pushed her too hard and she went to face down DeVoe alone. Cisco vibes her violin case and sees her location and learns DeVoe is already there. DeVoe senses Cisco watching them and is able, with his new powers, to blast Cisco. Cisco flies across the room and crashes into the wall. He tells Barry where Izzy is while Caitlin rushes over to take him back to the medical bay. Barry and Ralph immediately leave to save Izzy.
The Flash distracts DeVoe so Elongated Man can put the cerebral inhibitor on him, but DeVoe brings The Flash to the ground using his powers to attack his mind. Elongated Man tries to stretch to place the device on DeVoe but he knocks it out of Ralph’s hands and uses puts Ralph in a big dumpster. Izzy gets the device on DeVoe but he uses his new powers to deactivate it. He creates another power cage, like the one he had Barry trapped in, to trap poor Izzy. Barry and Ralph are on the other side and can’t get her out of it.
DeVoe’s hover chair appears and he has a tentacle attached to Izzy’s head. Ralph tells her to look at him and to keep looking at him no matter what. A terrified Izzy looks at Ralph and says his name as the tentacle transfers DeVoe’s consciousness into Izzy’s body. Once done, DeVoe – now in Izzy’s body – uses a button on the hover chair to disappear.
Back at S.T.A.R. Labs, Caitlin’s watching over a devastated Ralph while Harry is kicking himself for not being smart enough to stop DeVoe from beating the mind dampener. Cisco realizes with the use of the new device that DeVoe’s lair is in a pocket dimension and tries to find out all he can on how they might be able to locate it.
Cecile meets up with Harry to thank him for the new device, letting him know it works great and she can finally get some sleep. She reads his mind and knows that he’s worried about Jesse who’s still mad at him. Cecile tells Harry to call her and invite her to Central City for a visit.
In the last scene of the episode, Barry checks on Ralph who’s sitting in his P.I. office. Barry tells him if he needs time away from the team because of losing Izzy, he understands. “DeVoe is still out there and until this is over we need to keep this buddy system going,” says Barry to a grieving Ralph.
Ralph admits he thought Barry would say that and hands him a business card that reads “Barry Allen P.I.”. Ralph tells Barry he knows what it’s like to get fired from the CCPD and feel like he’s lost part of his identity. Now, Barry won’t have that problem and the next time they’re out in the field and someone asks who Barry works for, “You won’t have to get all stammery,” says Ralph. “You and I have to stand up and fight back,” he adds. “Just like Izzy would have wanted,” replies Barry. “There’s three more people out there who need our help and we need to find them before DeVoe does. After we do that, I’m going to take DeVoe down,” declares Ralph.
The Flash Season 4 Episode 14 Review:
Engaging, humorous, and emotional, episode 14 titled “Subject 9” continues the season’s main storyline of Team Flash fighting DeVoe and once again gives Ralph a chance for additional growth as a superhero. Hands down the best element and storyline of season four has been the introduction of Ralph aka Elongated Man to the series. Hartley Sawyer has great chemistry with the cast, especially Grant Gustin, and has injected the series with humor that’s been missing since the first season.
Sawyer also delivers the stand-out performance this episode, showing a sensitive and vulnerable side to Ralph as he starts to fall for Izzy and then as he loses her way too soon to the clutches of DeVoe. The scene in which he tells a terrified Izzy to keep looking at him while DeVoe takes over her body is touching and painfully sad.
With Ralph and Barry more determined than ever to stop DeVoe and Cisco working on finding The Thinker’s lair, it should be interesting as well as exciting to see how long it takes Team Flash to finally get the upper hand on their enemy.

This season they’ll find an unlikely ally in their quest to ruin Rittenhouse, a deadly organization with plans to change history and reshape reality — even though Lucy’s family has been a part of Rittenhouse for centuries.
Still making every effort not to affect the past themselves, they will visit 1692, 1917, 1941, 1981, and more. We’ll be introduced to the likes of Marie Curie, Hedy Lamarr, William Randolph Hearst and a multitude of other influential people throughout history.
