A new case hits really close to home on Fox’s Deputy season one episode eight. “10-8 Selfless” is set to air on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT.

Stephen Dorff (“Sheriff Bill Hollister”) leads a cast that includes Brian Van Holt as Cade Ward, Bex Taylor-Klaus as Brianna Bishop, and Shane Paul McGhie as Joseph Harris. Yara Martinez stars as Dr. Paula Reyes.

“10-8 Selfless” Plot – When an ex-marine turns up dead on the street, Bill helps Cade work the case that hits far too close to home. With other candidates waiting in the wings to take Bill’s place as sheriff, the department pressures him to be more of a team player. Meanwhile, Paula and Maggie see a counselor to try to deal with the repercussions of Bill’s new position.

The Deputy Plot, Courtesy of Fox:

Deputy blends the spirit of a classic Western with a modern-day attitude and emotionally driven, visceral storytelling. Featuring an ensemble of ambitious and complicated people who won’t rest until justice is served, DEPUTY brings a gritty authenticity to the modern cop drama.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is one of the largest police forces in the world, but when the elected Sheriff dies, an arcane rule in the county charter, forged back in the Wild West, suddenly thrusts the most unlikely man into the job. That man is Bill Hollister. A fifth-generation lawman, Bill is only interested in justice; his soul wears a white hat. The bad guys don’t stand a chance, but neither do the politicos in the Hall of Justice.

Under Bill’s command is a county-wide crew of LA’s finest, including Deputy Cade Ward, a former Marine stationed in Afghanistan, eight years sober and one of Bill’s few confidantes; Deputy Brianna Bishop, the whip-smart, sarcastic driver in charge of Bill’s security detail; and Deputy Joseph Harris, the son of Bill’s fallen partner.

The dangers associated with the job often lead the police to LA County General Hospital, where Bill buts heads with Dr. Paula Reyes, the hospital’s chief trauma surgeon – and his wife.

Given a job he never wanted, in an unfamiliar sea of politics, Bill quickly learns that doing what is expected and doing what is right are two different things, and that his innate, dogged pursuit of justice is the only skill the job truly requires.”

Billie Eilish Unveils ‘No Time To Die’ Theme Song

Five-time Grammy winner Billie Eilish just released her original theme song to the upcoming 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die. 18-year-old Eilish wrote and recorded “No Time To Die,” making her the youngest artist to have the honor of recording a Bond movie theme song.

The Bond theme song was produced by Billie Eilish’s brother, FINNEAS, as well as Stephen Lipson. Hans Zimmer and Matt Dunkley did the orchestral arrangements and Johnny Marr plays the guitar on the track.

“There are a chosen few who record a Bond theme. I am a huge fan of Billie and FINNEAS. Their creative integrity and talent are second to none and I cannot wait for audiences to hear what they’ve brought – a fresh new perspective whose vocals will echo for generations to come,” said director Cary Joji Fukunaga.

Commenting on her involvement, Eilish said, “It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honor. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”

“Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we’ve been dreaming about doing our entire lives. There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes of Goldfinger and Live and Let Die. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007,” added FINNEAS.

Eilish is set to perform the song live at the Brit Awards on February 18th. She’ll be joined for the performance by FINNEAS, Hans Zimmer, and Johnny Marr.

No Time to Die starring Daniel Craig as the suave superspy opens in theaters on April 10, 2020.
