Season four of CBS’s FBI wraps up with episode 22, “Prodigal Son,” airing on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT. The season finale was directed by Alex Chapple from a script by Rick Eid and features the team tracking robbers who stole automatic weapons.
(Update: CBS pulled this episode in light of the horrific murder of elementary school children in Uvalde, Texas.)
Fans won’t have to spend the next few months wondering about the status of FBI. CBS has officially renewed the three FBI series – FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, and FBI: International – for new seasons.
In addition to Missy Peregrym as Special Agent Maggie Bell (currently on maternity leave), the season four cast includes Zeeko Zaki as Special Agent Omar Adom ‘OA’ Zidan and Jeremy Sisto as Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine. Alana De La Garza is Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille, John Boyd is Special Agent Stuart Scola, and Katherine Renee Turner is Special Agent Tiffany Wallace.
Recurring season four cast members include Taylor Anthony Miller, Vedette Lim, Shantel VanSanten, Roshawn Franklin, Mara Davi, Caleb Reese Paul, and James Chen.
“Prodigal Son” Plot: As the team investigates a deadly robbery that garnered a cache of automatic weapons for the killers, they discover one of the perps is a classmate of Jubal’s son, who is reluctant to cooperate with the case.
