AMC continues its “11 Weeks of Reveals until Season 11” with the release of four new The Walking Dead season 11 photos. The network also released an official synopsis for the upcoming final season which kicks off on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT.
The season 11 plot, per AMC:
“Previously on The Walking Dead, our survivors confronted past demons and combated new threats, with friendships and relationships suffering from the mounting collateral damage that is the apocalypse. Alexandria is severely compromised, left a former shell of the home it once was from the carnage and devastation left behind by the Whisperers.
Now all who live in Alexandria struggle to refortify it and feed its increasing number of residents, which include the survivors from the fall of the Kingdom and the burning of Hilltop; along with Maggie and her new group, the Wardens. Alexandria has more people than it can manage to feed and protect. Their situation is dire as tensions heat up over past events and self-preservation rises to the surface within the ravaged walls.
They must secure more food while they attempt to restore Alexandria before it collapses like countless other communities they have come across throughout the years. But where and how? More haggard and hungrier than ever before, they must dig deeper to find the effort and strength to safeguard the lives of their children, even if it means losing their own.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to those at Alexandria, Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko, and Princess are still being held captive by mysterious soldiers who are members of a larger and unforthcoming group.”

Paramount Pictures has announced Snake Eyes will be participating in next month’s Comic-Con@Home, the virtual version of the annual San Diego Comic-Con pop culture event. Covid-19 forced the cancellation of last year’s in-person convention and this year’s normal July convention has moved to an online version once again in order to keep attendees, staff, and celebrity guests safe.
Per Paramount, the Snake EyesComic-Con@Home panel will feature “special content from the film, behind-the-scenes footage, and exclusive interviews with stars Henry Golding, Andrew Koji, Úrsula Corberó, Samara Weaving, Haruka Abe, Takehiro Hira, Peter Mensah, and Iko Uwais, and writer of the G.I. Joe comics, Larry Hama.”
The panel’s date and time have not yet been announced. Expect further updates in the weeks leading up to the virtual event.
The Comic-Con@Home announcement was accompanied by comic book character pieces hosted on YouTube along with the news the action thriller will host advance screenings for fans in 10 cities on Wednesday, July 21st. The special screenings will be held in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Seattle, Miami, San Diego, Houston, Phoenix, and Vancouver. The CW’s Charmed season three episode 15 finds Maggie and Macy traveling to the future where Maggie is shocked by unexpected news. Directed by Stuart Gilliard from a script by Bianca Sams and Blake Taylor, episode 15 – “Schrodinger’s Future” – will air on Friday, June 18, 2021.
The cast is led by Melonie Diaz as Melanie Vera, Sarah Jeffery as Maggie Vera, and Madeleine Mantock as Macy Vaughn. Jordan Donica plays Jordan, Poppy Drayton is Abigael, and Rupert Evans plays Harry Greenwood.
“Schrodinger’s Future” Plot: WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS – Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) has a disturbing vision, forcing her and Macy (Madeleine Mantock) to pay a visit to the future. Mel (Diaz) and Harry (Evans) struggle with challenging new circumstances.

The one-minute teaser arrives a month out from the series’ return on August 12, 2021 on HBO Max. Season three will debut with the release of the first three episodes. The remaining new episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays.

Given the year we’ve just endured, it’s not a stretch to believe the world’s about to end courtesy of a gigantic meteor. The new trailer for How It Ends finds Zoe Lister-Jones chatting with her younger self as she attempts to figure out how to spend her last few hours on earth.
The huge ensemble includes Cailee Spaeny, Olivia Wilde, Fred Armisen, Whitney Cummings, Charlie Day, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, and Helen Hunt. Nick Kroll, Lamorne Morris, Bradley Whitford, Colin Hanks, Tawny Newsome, Finn Wolfhard, and Logan Marshall Green also star in what’s described as a feel-good apocalyptic comedy.
The cast also includes Bobby Lee, Glenn Howerton, Ayo Edebiri, Sharon Van Etten, Paul W. Downs, Raymond Cham Jr., Angelique Cabral, Rob Huebel, Paul Scheer, and Pauly Shore.

How It Ends screened at Sundance Film Festival and SXSW, and will screen during this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. MGM’s planning to release the film on digital and in limited theaters on July 20, 2021.
The Plot:

Anchorman co-stars Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd reunite for the upcoming Apple Original limited series, The Shrink Next Door. Described as a dark comedy, the series is inspired by the true story of the strange relationship between a psychiatrist and one of his patients.
In addition to Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd, The Shrink Next Door‘s cast includes Kathryn Hahn and Casey Wilson.
The eight-episode series is set to premiere on Friday, November 12, 2021 on Apple TV+. The series will kick off with the release of three episodes followed by a new episode on subsequent Fridays.
Emmy, Golden Globe, BAFTA, WGA Award winner Georgia Pritchett wrote the series which is based on the hit podcast by Wondery and Bloomberg Media. The podcast’s host, Joe Nocera, is involved in the series as a co-executive producer.

Inspired by true events, The Shrink Next Door details the bizarre relationship between psychiatrist to the stars Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf (Rudd) and his longtime patient Martin “Marty” Markowitz (Ferrell). Over the course of their relationship, the all-too-charming Ike slowly inserts himself into Marty’s life, even moving into Marty’s Hamptons home and persuading Marty to name him president of the family business.
The series explores how a seemingly normal doctor-patient dynamic morphs into an exploitative relationship filled with manipulation, power grabs, and dysfunction at its finest.
The CW’s Legacies marches toward the season three finale with an episode that finds Hope, Lizzie, and Josie stuck in a hallucination with Star Wars vibes. Directed by Brett Matthews from a script he co-wrote with Thomas Brandon, season three episode 15 – “A New Hope” – will air on June 17, 2021. The season finale arrives on June 24th.

Motherland: Fort Salem returns to Freeform’s primetime schedule on June 22, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT. Season two episode one, “Of the Blood,” finds Raelle and Abigail exploring their new abilities.

Nominees for the 2021 ESPYS Presented by Capital One include Tom Brady, Simone Biles, Russell Westbrook, and Aaron Rodgers. The full list of nominees was just announced along with the news Anthony Mackie (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier) will handle hosting duties during the awards show.

Paramount+ is celebrating Captain Picard Day with the release of a new teaser trailer for Star Trek: Picard. The season two teaser reveals Picard’s shocked to discover he’s face-to-face with Q (John de Lancie). In the one-minute clip, Q comments on Picard’s age and claims he’s missed him. “Welcome, my friend, to the very end of the road not taken,” says Q.
The teaser trailer was accompanied by a new poster for the upcoming second season. Unfortunately, the teaser didn’t include an actual targeted 2022 premiere date.
The cast is led by Patrick Stewart as Captain Jean-Luc Picard. Alison Pill, Isa Briones, Evan Evagora, Michelle Hurd, Santiago Cabrera, Jeri Ryan, Orla Brady, John de Lancie, and Brent Spiner also star.
Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokoski, and Dylan Massin executive produce. Goldsman and Matalas are the season two co-showrunners. The series is a CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment production.
