Oscar-winner Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting) stars as a father out to prove his daughter’s not guilty of a crime in Focus Features’ Stillwater. The dramatic thriller just debuted an official trailer and released new photos as well as a poster for the upcoming 2021 release.
Matt Damon’s co-stars include Oscar nominee Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine) and Camille Cottin (Killing Eve). Oscar-winner Tom McCarthy (Spotlight) directed and co-wrote the screenplay with Marcus Hinchey, Thomas Bidegain, and Noé Debré. McCarthy also produces along with Steve Golin, Jonathan King, and Liza Chasin.
Focus Features is targeting a July 30, 2021 theatrical release.

The official trailer’s arrived for A24’s fantasy drama The Green Knight. The trailer features Dev Patel as Sir Gawain and tracks his quest to challenge the Green Knight.
In addition to Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire), the cast includes Alicia Vikander (Tomb Raider), Joel Edgerton (It Comes at Night), Sarita Choudhury (Jessica Jones), Sean Harris (The King), Kate Dickie (The Cry), Barry Keoghan (American Animals), and Ralph Ineson (The Capture).
David Lowery (A Ghost Story) wrote and directed the drama, and A24’s set a July 30, 2021 theatrical release date.

Apple TV+ is showing off the first official trailer for Lisey’s Story, a limited series based on the popular novel by Stephen King. King is hands-on with the limited series, writing each of the eight episodes as well as executive producing.
Stephen King teased the trailer’s debut on his Twitter account, announcing on May 10th that it was about to be released. “I love it, and hope you all do,” wrote King.
The cast is led by Oscar winner Julianne Moore (Still Alice) as the title character. Oscar nominee Clive Owen (Closer), three-time Oscar nominee Joan Allen (The Contender, The Crucible, Nixon), Oscar nominee Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Hateful Eight), Dane DeHaan (A Cure for Wellness), Ron Cephas Jones (This Is Us), and Sung Kang (Power) also star in Apple TV+’s limited series.
The Apple Original series is set to premiere on Friday, June 4, 2021. The first two episodes will air on June 4th followed by new episodes dropping on subsequent Fridays.

Lisey’s Story is a deeply personal, pensive thriller that follows Lisey Landon (played by Moore) two years after the death of her husband, famous novelist Scott Landon (played by Owen). ABC announced Grey’s Anatomy will return for an 18th season with series star Ellen Pompeo committing to the upcoming season after striking a new deal with the network. Station 19 also earned a renewal and will be back for a fifth season as part of the network’s 2021-2022 primetime schedule.

According to ABC, Grey’s Anatomy season 17 is the top series among adults 18-49. Station 19 is the top-rated series overall in its Thursday timeslot.

Fox has officially handed Call Me Kat a renewal order for a second season. According to the network, the freshman comedy shares the top spot among all new comedies with Young Rock.
Four-time Emmy Award nominee Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory) stars in the half-hour relationship comedy. Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee Swoosie Kurtz plays Sheila, Grammy Award nominee Cheyenne Jackson is Max, Emmy Award winner Leslie Jordan is Phil, Kyla Pratt is Randi, and Julian Gant plays Carter.

CBS is wrapping up season 11 of the popular drama Blue Bloods with back-to-back episodes. The two-hour finale finds the Reagans working to protect Joe Hill from being murdered while working undercover.

“Justifies The Means” Plot: The Reagans band together to prevent Joe Hill from being killed in the line of duty like his father when they fear Joe’s cover has been blown within the gunrunning outfit he’s helping the ATF bring down.
Blue Bloods is a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan is the New York Police Commissioner, and heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry, during his stint as Chief.
A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son, Danny, a seasoned detective, family man and Iraq War vet who on occasion uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his partner, Detective Maria Baez. The Reagan women in the family include middle daughter, Erin, a New York Assistant D.A. who serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father, and is a single parent to her daughter Nicky, who is pursuing a career in San Francisco. Jamie is the youngest Reagan, a Harvard Law graduate and the family’s “golden boy.”
Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie decided to give up a lucrative future in law and follow in the family footsteps as a cop. He’s found a friend and ally in his wife, Eddie, who keeps him on his toes, and has very different reasons than the Reagans for joining the police force. The Reagans welcomed a new family addition after Frank learned his deceased son, officer Joe Reagan, has an adult child they never knew about, a young man who is a rising NYPD cop.
Escaped prisoners target Hondo on CBS’s S.W.A.T. season four episode 16. Directed by Maja Vrvilo from a script Kent Rotherham and Robert Wittstadt, episode 16 will air on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT.

The official trailer for Netflix’s Fatherhood stars Kevin Hart as a widower who vows to do his best in raising his baby daughter. The film was adapted from Matthew Logelin’s Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss & Love and is set for release on June 18, 2021.
