Daniel Radcliffe has committed to starring in the upcoming Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt interactive special. Netflix made the announcement but didn’t reveal exactly what Daniel Radcliffe will be doing in the special which focuses on the always bubbly Kimmy Schmidt (played by Ellie Kemper) and the Reverend (played by Jon Hamm).

The streaming service also confirmed the special will air in 2020. The series wrapped up its four season run in January 2019, and the special will act as a way to complete storylines.

Per Netflix, the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt interview special follows Kimmy as she “sets off on her biggest adventure yet. Three states! Explosions! A dancing hamburger! And you, the viewer, get to decide how the story goes. Will you foil the Reverend’s evil plan and get Kimmy to her wedding on time? Or will you accidentally start a war against the robots? So grab your remote and a tray of delicious scrod, ‘cause Kimmy’s got her own Netflix interactive special!”

In addition to Ellie Kemper and Jon Hamm, returning cast members includes Tituss Burgess as Titus Andromedon, Jane Krakowski as Jacqueline White, and Carol Kane as Lillian Kaushtupper.

Announcing the special in May, executive producer Tina Fey said, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt was one of the first original comedy series on Netflix, and now it will be its first interactive comedy event. Fans will be able to make choices on behalf of our characters, taking different story paths with, of course, different jokes. I think it’s a great fit for our show and will be a great way to officially complete the series.”

Tina Fey created the series with executive producer Robert Carlock (Saturday Night Live, Friends, 30 Rock). Jeff Richmond, Sam Means, Meredith Scardino, and David Miner also executive produce.

The popular comedy earned 18 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and three Screen Actors Guild nominations (for Tituss Burgess and Ellie Kemper). It was also nominated for seven Critics’ Choice Awards, with Jane Krakowski winning in the Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category in 2016.
