‘Love Island’ Season 3 Announces the First 12 Islanders

CBS’s upcoming third season of Love Island will include a Covid relief worker, a psychiatric nurse, and a college athlete among the “Islanders” looking for love. Arielle Vandenberg returns to host and Matthew Hoffman is back to narrate the new season which is set to kick off on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 9:30pm ET/PT.

New episodes will air on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday during the first week. The remaining episodes air on Tuesdays through Fridays at 9pm ET/PT, as well as Sundays at 9pm ET/PT, beginning week two.

The third season marks the first time Paramount+ will stream 15 hours of content considered “too hot” for the network broadcast.

‘Jolt’ Trailer: Kate Beckinsale Has Real Anger Issues

Kate Beckinsale (the Underworld franchise) returns to the action genre with a starring role in Jolt debuting on Amazon Prime Video on July 23, 2021. The new trailer for the action thriller reveals Beckinsale’s character is a badass you should never cross if you value your life.

Kate Beckinsale’s joined in the Amazon Studios film by Bobby Cannavale (The Irishman), Jai Courtney (Suicide Squad), Laverne Cox (Orange is the New Black), and David Bradley (The Strain). Ori Pfeffer, Susan Sarandon (Blackbird), and Stanley Tucci (The Devil Wears Prada) also star. Tanya Wexler (Buffaloed) directed from a screenplay by Scott Wascha.

Paranormal explorers Dakota Laden, Chelsea Laden, Tanner Wiseman, and Alex Schroeder return for another season of Destination Fear premiering on Saturday, July 24, 2021 on Travel Channel and discovery+. The upcoming season finds the intrepid explorers visiting a jail, a sanitorium, a reformatory, and the Villisca Axe Murder House.

“We’ve been through a lot together but even after all of our dark encounters, we’ve barely scratched the surface of what’s out there,” said Dakota Laden. “I usually save the worst location for last, but this time I am throwing us head-first into one of the scariest places in the entire country. And I have a few surprises up my sleeve to fuel the terror even more.”

The eight-episode third season will pose even bigger challenges and tests for the team, according to Chelsea Laden. “It’s really forced us to exceed those limitations and do the unthinkable,” said Laden.

“I think this is the most vulnerable we’ve ever been,” revealed Tanner Wiseman. “Even our pit stops are challenging. It adds a whole new layer to our experience.”

“Everything is extreme, even the locations,” added Alex Schroeder. “And as much as we try to ready ourselves for each situation, nothing can really prepare us for what comes next.”

Across this season’s eight one-hour episodes, the fear-chasing foursome will be driven to the edge of endurance. Exploring under the harshest conditions they’ve ever faced, and using sensory deprivation tactics to augment their paranormal experiment, this trip will test their mental, emotional and physical strength to the extreme. Venturing inside notoriously haunted locations such as Ohio State Reformatory, the Villisca Axe Murder House and Odd Fellows Home, the team confronts intense supernatural forces – and they quickly learn these entities do more than go bump in the night.

In the season premiere, Dakota takes the team to one of the most frightening and infamous places in America: Waverly Hills Sanatorium in Louisville, Kentucky. But it’s the seemingly paranormal connection to a hotel 40 miles away that has intrigued Dakota, and he and the team are the first to explore it.




‘Animal Kingdom’ Season 5 Primer: A Recap Video of Seasons 1 – 4

TNT squeezes four seasons of intense family drama into a three and a half minute Animal Kingdom recap video narrated by Pope (Shawn Hatosy). Pope lays out the basics of the Cody family dynamics and the assorted supporting players who’ve come in and out of their lives over the first four seasons.

In addition to Shawn Hatosy, the series stars Ben Robson as Craig, Jake Weary as Deran, and Finn Cole as J.

Season five of the critically acclaimed crime drama will premiere on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT. 20 minutes prior to the new season’s premiere, @AnimalKingdom will be hosting a Twitter watch party with fans.

Animal Kingdom‘s inspired by the critically acclaimed Australian independent film from writer/director David Michôd. Jonathan Lisco developed the series and Michôd, Liz Watts, John Wells, Daniele Nathanson, Erin Jontow serve as executive producers.

Meanwhile, they search for more information on Pamela Johnson whom Smurf made the beneficiary of her estate.

And back in 1984, an increasingly volatile 29-year-old Smurf is forging her own path raising Pope and Julia and leading the charge on dangerous jobs with new and old friends.




‘Sopranos’ Prequel ‘The Many Saints of Newark’ New Trailer

The new trailer for The Many Saints of Newark introduces us to younger versions of the key players from HBO’s The Sopranos, focusing on Tony Soprano in his formative years. Michael Gandolfini takes on the central role of Tony played brilliantly by his Emmy Award-winning father, James Gandolfini, for six seasons.

The cast of the mob drama also includes Alessandro Nivola (American Hustle), Tony winner Leslie Odom Jr. (Broadway’s Hamilton), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), and Corey Stoll (First Man). Billy Magnussen (Made for Love), Michela De Rossi (Boys Cry), John Magaro (The Finest Hours), Ray Liotta (Goodfellas), and Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring films) also star.

The Sopranos‘ Emmy Award-winning director Alan Taylor directs The Many Saints of Newark from a screenplay by series creator David Chase and Lawrence Konner. Chase, Konner, and Nicole Lambert produced, with Michael Disco, Marcus Viscidi, Toby Emmerich, and Richard Brener executive producing.

The Many Saints of Newark is a New Line Cinema and Chase Films production, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Shot in New Jersey and New York, The Sopranos prequel is set to premiere in theaters and on HBO Max on October 1, 2021.

‘Good Omens’ Earns a Well-Deserved Season 2 with Michael Sheen and David Tennant

Great news for Good Omens fans…Michael Sheen and David Tennant will reprise their roles as the angel Aziraphale and the demon Crowley in a second season of Good Omens! Amazon Studios and BBC Studios announced the renewal (which fans have been pleading for since season one ended) and confirmed season two is expected to shoot in Scotland later this year.

“Personally I’m against it, but the world isn’t going to just save itself, is it? If David and I can manage to not fall out too badly this time it may even have a chance of getting finished,” stated Michael Sheen.

“The return of Good Omens is great news for me, personally. As I get to work with Michael again, and I get to say Neil’s wonderful words once more. It’s probably less good for the universe as it almost certainly means there will be some fresh existential threat to its existence to deal with, but, you know – swings and roundabouts…,” said David Tennant.

The critically acclaimed series is based on Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s bestselling novel, Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch. Gaiman is involved as an executive producer and a co-showrunner along with executive producer/director Douglas Mackinnon. Gaiman’s also co-writing season two with executive producer John Finnemore. Rob Wilkins and BBC Studios Productions’ Head of Comedy Josh Cole are also executive producing.

Season two is an Amazon Studios, BBC Studios Productions, The Blank Corporation, and Narrativia production.

“It’s thirty-one years since Good Omens was published, which means it’s thirty-two years since Terry Pratchett and I lay in our respective beds in a Seattle hotel room at a World Fantasy Convention, and plotted the sequel,” explained Neil Gaiman. “I got to use bits of the sequel in Good Omens — that’s where our angels came from. Terry’s not here any longer, but when he was, we had talked about what we wanted to do with Good Omens, and where the story went next. And now, thanks to BBC Studios and Amazon, I get to take it there. I have enlisted some wonderful collaborators, and John Finnemore has come on board to carry the torch with me. There are so many questions people have asked about what happened next (and also, what happened before) to our favourite Angel and Demon. Here are the answers you’ve been hoping for. We are back in Soho, and all through time and space, solving a mystery, which starts with an angel wandering through Soho, with no memory.”

“Taking Good Omens to my home country of Scotland to film a second season is an exciting dream come true for me. And with Michael Sheen and David Tennant returning as Aziraphale and Crowley, we really have an angel and a demon on our side,” added Douglas Mackinnon.

Season one debuted in May 2019 and was an immediate hit on Prime Video. Sheen and Tennant were joined in the first season by Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman, Jack Whitehall, Miranda Richardson, Adria Arjona, Michael McKean, Anna Maxwell Martin, and Mireille Enos.

“Terry and Neil always knew that Crowley and Aziraphale wouldn’t remain content to appear in only one story, and long harboured plans to expand upon their adventures. David and Michael’s stellar performances made this an absolute necessity. Terry would have been delighted with how they brought their characters to life, and just as delighted as I am that a second season is now underway,” said Rob Wilkins.

‘Loki’ Midseason Sneak Peek Teases the God of Mischief’s Future

Loki (Tom Hiddleston) quotes an Asgardian saying as the Loki midseason sneak peek begins. “Where there are wolves ears, wolves teeth are near,” says Loki. The two-minute video quickly runs through what’s gone done in the episodes that have already aired before giving fans a tantalizing – albeit very brief – look at what’s in store in the upcoming episodes.

The Disney+ series debuted on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 and will finish up on July 14th.

In addition to Tom Hiddleston, the popular series stars Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius, Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Judge Renslayer, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, and Richard E. Grant. The comic book-inspired series is directed by Kate Herron, with Michael Waldron serving as the head writer.

‘Fantasy Island’ New Trailer: Be Careful What You Wish For

The new trailer for the updated Fantasy Island series coming to Fox this fall shows this vacation paradise is a magical place in which all your dreams come true…but at a price. Roselyn Sanchez (Devious Maids) stars as Elena Roarke, a relative of Mr. Roarke (played by Ricardo Montalban in the original TV series), who welcomes guests to this island getaway and promises to transform their lives for the better. But the trailer suggests there’s a good reason not to trust Elena.

The cast of season one also includes Kiara Barnes and John Gabriel Rodriguez. Bellamy Young, Dave Annable, and Odette Annable guest star.

Filming is now underway in Puerto Rico. Liz Craft and Sarah Fain (The 100) are executive producing the Sony Pictures Television, Gemstone Studios, and FOX Entertainment production.

Fantasy Island will join Fox’s primetime lineup on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT.

Fox released the following season one description:

“Fantasy Island takes place at a luxury resort, where literally any fantasy requested by guests is fulfilled, although they rarely turn out as expected. Delving into the ‘what if’ questions – both big and small – that keep us awake at night, each episode will tell emotional, provocative stories about people who arrive with dreams and desires and depart enlightened and transformed through the magical realism of Fantasy Island. Serving as steward of this mysterious island is Elena Roarke (Sanchez), a descendant of the iconic Mr. Roarke. Elena set aside her own ambitions, and even the love of her life, to uphold her family’s legacy. Sophisticated, insightful and always charming, her calm exterior masks the challenges of the responsibilities she has assumed.

Assisting Elena is Ruby Okoro (Kiara Barnes, The Bold and the Beautiful), a young woman with an old soul who arrives on Fantasy Island with a terminal illness and is given a new lease on life there; and pilot Javier (John Gabriel Rodriquez, Rosewood), who also is the head of island transportation and a jack of all trades.”




‘Foundation’ New Teaser Trailer Arrives with a September Premiere Date Announcement

Apple TV+’s upcoming epic sci-fi saga Foundation marks the first time Isaac Asimov’s critically acclaimed book series has been adapted on screen. The gorgeous new trailer introduces the 10 episode first season’s key players and confirms the series will launch on Apple TV+ on Friday, September 24, 2021.

The first three episodes will drop on September 24th followed by new episodes every Friday.

“In the decades since the Foundation series first saw print, Asimov’s prophetic science-fiction work has never been more relevant than it is now,” said executive producer and showrunner David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight trilogy). “Growing up, I devoured Foundation and dreamed of one day seeing it on screen – but a feature film didn’t seem big enough to embrace the ambition. Thanks to the broader landscape of streaming and a valuable partnership with Apple and Skydance, we are able to bring the series to the screen in a way that truly does it justice.

The cast includes Jared Harris (Carnival Row) as Hari Seldon, Lee Pace (Halt and Catch Fire) as Brother Day, and Lou Llobell as Gaal. Leah Harvey (Search and Destroy) is Salvor, Laura Birn (The Innocents) is Demerzel, Terrence Mann (Sense8) is Brother Dusk, and Cassian Bilton plays Brother Dawn.

The Skydance Television production is executive produced by Robyn Asimov, Josh Friedman, Cameron Welsh, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost.

‘Ghost Adventures’ New Season Episode Details and 2021 Air Dates

Zak Bagans and his team of paranormal investigators return to explore haunted buildings and things that go bump in the night in a new season of Ghost Adventures premiering Thursday, July 22, 2021 on discovery+. The upcoming season features Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley, and Jay Wasley spending the night in creepy locations including a haunted toy shop and an old music venue.

“What we experience this season is some of the most physical and psychological paranormal activity yet,” stated Zak Bagans. “We’re dealing with cursed land, portals, demonic activity, and very frightened property owners who are afraid to live and work in these places. It’s terrifying, and we’re doing all we can to help them and understand these powerful hauntings.”

The upcoming season’s still a month away but fans can get an early taste of what’s in store now as discovery+ just released details on the first six new episodes.

  • Episode 1 – “The Great Saltair Curse” – Begins Streaming Thursday, July 22
    The Ghost Adventures crew is on the banks of Utah’s Great Salt Lake to investigate The Great Saltair, a century-old music venue that is host to terrifying hauntings, and plagued by misfortune, disaster and even death. Many believe the property is haunted by Saltair Sally, a woman whose body was found on the property in 2000, and evidence suggests the surrounding land is cursed, amplifying the hostile paranormal energy. During their investigation, the team is plagued by intense physical afflictions, disembodied voices, unexplained figures, and an array of frightening anomalies.

  • Episode 2 – “Terror at the Toy Shop” – Begins Streaming Thursday, July 29
    Zak Bagans and the crew encounter some of the most incredible poltergeist activity ever at Hollywood Toys and Costumes, a haunted costume shop in Hollywood, California. Riddled with darkness and tragedy, the supernaturally charged building takes the guys on a ride they will never forget during an incredibly dynamic investigation.

  • Episode 3 – “Haunting in the Hills” – Begins Streaming Thursday, August 5
    The Ghost Adventures crew investigate the Hollywood Hills home of model and television personality Holly Madison. She is experiencing disturbing paranormal activity, including demonic growls, and suspects that whatever haunts the property is preying on her fear.

  • Episode 4 – “Territorial Enterprise” – Begins Streaming Thursday, August 12
    Zak Bagans and the team open a terrifying new chapter in Virginia City, Nevada, a haunted town that’s kept the crew coming back again and again. This time, they are focusing on two places in town, the Territory Enterprise Building and the Knights of Pythias building. Locals suspect the town’s connection to a secret society may have opened a portal to the netherworld.

  • Episode 5 – “Emergency in Elk Grove” – Begins Streaming Thursday, August 19
    The crew is called to Elk Grove, California, to help a grieving woman who believes she is being terrorized by a demon and fears for her safety. The case takes an even more twisted turn when she reveals that the dark presence haunting her may be responsible for her father’s death.

  • Episode 6 – “Carbon County Chaos” – Begins Streaming Thursday, August 26
    When the small town of Helper, Utah, is under siege by dark forces, the mayor calls on the Ghost Adventures crew for help. She suspects that recent renovations to two historic buildings may be behind the surge in paranormal activity.
