Max is no longer content to fix a broken system. He’s determined to tear it down and build something better.

Season three of The CW’s Legacies continues with one of the show’s most interesting episode titles, “Do All Malivore Monsters Provide This Level of Emotional Insight?” Season three episode nine was directed by Barbara Brown from a script by Brett Matthews and Adam Higgs and is set to air on April 8, 2021.

Peyton Alex Smith is Rafael, Chris Lee is Kaleb, Leo Howard is Ethan Mac, Ben Levin is Jed, and Matthew Davis plays Alaric Saltzman.
“Do All Malivore Monsters Provide This Level of Emotional Insight?” Plot: HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF — As tensions build between Hope (Russell) and Lizzie (Boyd), the latest monster’s arrival at the school will force them to set aside their differences in order to defeat it.
Meanwhile, Alaric (Davis) comes up with an excuse to keep tabs on Josie (Bryant) at Mystic Falls High, and Cleo (guest star Omono Okojie) helps Kaleb (Lee) cope with a recent fallout with MG (Fouse).
Set in The Salvatore Boarding School for the Young & Gifted, and within The Vampire Diaries universe, Legacies tells the ongoing story of a new generation of supernatural students as they learn what it means to be special in a society that wouldn’t understand their gifts.
In season two, Hope Mikaelson returned to a world that had forgotten she ever existed and reunited with her former Headmaster, Alaric Saltzman. Working together, Hope and Dr. Saltzman ultimately rejoined The Salvatore School to lead their Super Squad of powerful vampires, witches and werewolves, including Lizzie & Josie Saltzman, MG, Rafael, and Kaleb and even a Phoenix, her true love Landon, into battle against a dizzying horde of fantastic and deadly monsters birthed from the Malivore Pit … and their old nemesis, The Necromancer, who was determined to resurrect Malivore.
As season three begins, Hope has risked everything to pull her friends back from the brink of a monstrous prophecy that threatened to doom them all. But when a heartbreaking loss shatters her whole world, Hope Mikaelson will be forced to fight fate itself.

A person’s greatest fear and the courage to face and fight through it are the main focus for Team Flash in season seven episode five of The CW’s The Flash.
The episode begins with Barry (Grant Gustin) figuring out a way to track the giant meta monster who appeared at the end of last week’s episode, a monster who’s able to absorb energy and lightning from the Speed Force. Just as Iris (Candice Patton) is trying to get Barry to take a break and get some rest, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) walks in with Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Frost (also Danielle Panabaker) still separated and living as two different people. Barry thinks he’s seeing double and Frost collects on a bet with Cisco that Barry and Iris would be freaked out.
Later that night, Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) is working at home when she hears a voice and then sees a dark figure with glowing eyes taunting her. She screams and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) comes into the room to calm her down. Joe tells her everything’s all right and no one’s in the house. Cecile tells Joe the image looked and felt so real.
The next day at S.T.A.R. Labs, Caitlin and Frost explain to Cisco, Barry, and Iris how the separation happened. It seems with Frost’s powers a molecule went into overdrive to heal her when Mirror Master blasted her with a gun a few weeks ago. Frost’s healing powers forced her out and into her own body. Caitlin wants to start working right away to find a way to merge her and Frost back together, fearing the longer they wait the harder it might get.
The group’s conversation is interrupted by multiple colored lights appearing on the ceiling of S.T.A.R. Labs. A woman appears and begins to fall. Barry uses his super-speed to race over and catch her. The woman looks just like Barry’s mother, Nora (Michelle Harrison). Caitlin tends to her in the medical bay, and it is the new Speed Force in the form of Nora. Caitlin and Cisco come to realize that Nora was attacked by the giant monster which Cisco nicknames Fuerza.
Iris visits Joe at the CCPD to talk about some of the details on a bank robbery when the Governor’s overseer Kristen Kramer (Carmen Moore) shows up to introduce herself. Iris immediately gets a bad vibe from her and excuses herself.
Over at S.T.A.R. Labs, Cisco’s finished prepping the Firestorm Matrix and begins to charge it. Caitlin realized they could use it and, combined with her and Frost’s DNA and molecules, they can put her and Frost back together again. Frost walks in and when she hears this she doesn’t seem happy. She thinks Caitlin must be happier without her always talking to her in her head, but Cisco tells Frost that Caitlin seems eager to rejoin with her. As he walks out, Frost glares at the Matrix.
Cecile shows up at S.T.A.R. Labs to talk to Caitlin about what she experienced but ends up talking to Barry about it. She tells Barry it felt like pure fear. An alert goes off and Barry sees a bank robbery in progress. He speeds off to stop it.
Barry shows up and spots two guards screaming and shooting up in the sky. They run off and The Flash sees a new meta, Psych (Ennis Esmer), who was using his powers to make the guards hallucinate and see a giant Godzilla-like creature roaring at them. The Flash speeds meta power-reducing cuffs on Psych but he just shakes them off and uses his powers to make Barry first see Thawne and then see Savitar who spears The Flash with a metal rod. The Flash collapses in the street bleeding from the wound he received in his hallucination.
A little while later at S.T.A.R. Labs Barry’s wound is almost healed due to his speed healing and he tells the team about his hallucination and how real it felt. The team realizes that Psych and Fuerza must be linked because both seem to be immune to Barry’s Speed Force powers. Barry and Caitlin come up with the idea of using the tech they used against Gorilla Grodd to protect them from Psych’s powers of hallucinations.
At the CCPD, Iris returns with a background check on Kramer. She warns Joe she has a bad feeling in her gut about Kramer and he should look into her. Joe agrees to take a look.
At S.T.A.R. Labs, Caitlin discovers the Firestorm Matrix device has been broken and knows Frost did it. Frost confesses and yells at Caitlin in front of Cisco that she doesn’t want to rejoin her. Caitlin, feeling hurt and rejected, walks off telling Frost to give her a call when she figures out what she wants. A very uncomfortable silence between Cisco and Frost is broken by an alert of another attack by Psych at a bank.
At the bank, The Flash speeds the terror-frozen employees out and returns with Cisco – in Vibe gear – and Frost. Psych tells The Flash he doesn’t like his friends and that their “flimsy” power dampeners won’t stop him. He then hits all three with hallucinations.
Frost sees herself in power cuffs being arrested by Joe for her crimes against the city. She pleads with him, declaring she’s one of the good guys but Joe won’t listen. She asks who turned her in and Joe tells her someone who knows everything she’s done. She asks, “Was it Mark?!” (Wait, who the heck is Mark and what is he to Frost?!!) Joe answers no and reveals it was Caitlin. Shocked and deeply hurt, Frost freezes and repeats, “How could she?!”
Cisco sees something horrible (which isn’t shown to the audience) and whispers, “No…no is this how it all ends?!”
In his hallucination, The Flash sees everyone he loves – Cisco, Iris, Joe, Caitlin, and Nora aka The Speed Force – lying in rubble, dead.
“Sweet nightmares, people,” says Psych as he leaves the three heroes horrified by their visions.
Later at S.T.A.R. Labs, Caitlin is still monitoring Speed Force Nora and informs the recovering Barry and Cisco that Psych elevates fear levels making them freeze. Cisco and Barry realize that Psych isn’t interested in money but in creating chaos by using fear.
Caitlin goes looking for Frost and finds her trying unsuccessfully to fix the Firestorm Matrix. The two talk and Frost admits she wants to be in her own body living her own life and not sharing a body with Caitlin. Caitlin tells Frost she was hurt because her greatest fear is that she would lose her, and Frost says she doesn’t want to lose her either and tells her about her hallucination with Caitlin turning her in. Caitlin says she would never do that and they agree to live together and be like sisters.
Barry and Cecile talk about Psych’s powers and Barry gets an idea for Cecile to use her telekinetic powers in DeVoe’s chair to stop Psych from infecting all of Central City with fear. Cecile’s initially reluctant but agrees to give it a try.
Psych creates a large fear wave that does start causing Central City to have nightmares but The Flash speeds into it with Cisco talking in his ear about staying strong and defeating Psych with his courage. It works and Cecile uses her powers and blasts through, defeating the fear wave and Psych who seems to vanish.
Later at S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry tells the team that when he hit Psych with lightning it seemed to stay with him. Barry reacts in pain to the same power that hurt the Speed Force and tells Caitlin to open the cryo-pod so he can go in it. The Speed Force comes out and tells Cisco, Caitlin, and Cecile that Psych and Fuerza are cosmic beings like her. She confirms they’re the ones who attacked her.
At the CCPD, Kramer visits Joe who indicates he knows her background and wants to know why she’s really in Central City. She explains she’s on special assignment from the Governor to arrest and bring to justice the meta known as Killer Frost.
The Flash Season 7 Episode 5 Review:
Impressive special effects and the strong performances by Danielle Nicolet and Danielle Panabaker elevate what could have been just another run-of-the-mill episode of The Flash. To be honest, the villain of the week, Psych, was rather ridiculous-looking and seemed to be a weak cousin to Freddy Krueger of the A Nightmare on Elm Street films. What made the episode very entertaining and moving was how Nicolet showed just how truly terrified Cecile is of losing control of her powers and how she faced her fear and became the one to stop Psych.
Danielle Panabaker also added heartache to the episode by exposing Frost’s biggest fear since coming into her own as a hero which is being betrayed by Caitlin who she loves like a sister.
Now that Team Flash knows that Fuerza and Psych are entities created by the same power as the Speed Force, the question is how do they stop them?

Secrets are revealed, loyalties are questioned, and relationships are ruined on FX’s Mayans M.C. season three episode four. “Our Gang’s Dark Oath” picks up with Angel (Clayton Cardenas) begging Adelita (Carla Baratta) to say something after she caught him in a compromising position with another woman. When Adelita finally speaks it’s to inform Angel their baby is dead. (She does not deliver this devastating news gently.)
Felipe (Edward James Olmos) finally returns to his store and finds the mail’s piled up and his storage room is buzzing with flies.
Bishop (Michael Irby) wakes up at Antonia Pena’s house and they have a tense discussion rehashing their personal history. They talk about how Izzy and Marcus are still a couple but they’re not. Antonia wonders why Bishop continues to show up on this date every year, and she’s adamant they’re not “those people” anymore. She explains she won’t be there on Friday and wants them to stop recognizing this anniversary. Bishop reminds her it’s not about them, it’s about Aidan.
“It’s about the past. Am I so terrible that I’m finally trying to choose the future?” asks Antonia.
Bishop doesn’t let her off the hook and says she is.
Meanwhile, Coco (Richard Cabral) arrives at the clubhouse and he’s looking exceptionally burned out and miserable.
Hank (Frankie Loyal) does a little one-sided flirting with Nails (Justina Adorno) who’s obviously upset over what’s going on with Angel. She thanks Hank for being so sweet and he assures her he’s there if she needs to talk.
Bishop’s the next to arrive and he’s in no mood for any crap. He calls everyone to the table for a meeting but Angel’s not there because he’s helping Felipe. Bishop’s not pleased and says there’s always something going on with the Reyes brothers.
He demands to know who talked to the Border Patrol and Taza (Raoul Max Trujillo) is sure it was Alicia. EZ (JD Pardo) tries to protest but Bishop shuts him down. EZ then suggests it might have been Vicki because she’s been upset since the club found the tunnel. After Riz died, her attitude toward the club has soured even more.
Bishop instructs EZ to visit Alicia in jail. Bishop’s certain that with 250 keys now in their possession, it’s only a matter of time before Alvarez figures out what’s up. He’s also certain the kings will put the pieces together soon, too. Fortunately, he has a plan. Bishop wants to go old school and says, “Bridge Over the River Kwai.” Gilly (Vincent Vargas) immediately asks him to reconsider, Hank thinks it’s too risky, and even Taza considers this idea to be a suicide mission. Now that the government has drones, they would have to pull this off in just a couple of minutes.
(Just an FYI: Pierre Boulle’s novel The Bridge Over the River Kwai was very loosely based on a real WWII story and was adapted into the critically acclaimed, Oscar-winning 1957 epic war film, The Bridge on the River Kwai.)
Because no one can offer up a better idea, Bishop says it’s a done deal. His plan is how they’ll move the drugs.
Sons of Anarchy’s Allesandro Montez (Jacob Vargas) arrives at a deserted building, walking cautiously through the door with gun out, ready to shoot. Palo wonders why Allesandro’s so jumpy and Allesandro asks what happened to Tommy (his cousin). Palo reminds him there hasn’t been any blowback and Allesandro admits he never told Charming that Tommy was with the Vatos Malditos. “They just think he disappeared,” says Allesandro.
Palo confirms he’s seen Tommy’s dead body and Allesandro becomes enraged, screaming at Palo for not sticking to the plan. Palo should have known Santo Padre would seek revenge after the VM’s attack. Allesandro’s worried about the relationship between the Mayans and Sons now and warns they’ll all suffer financially if a war’s ignited between the clubs.
Palo suggests he might bypass Allesandro and speak directly with Chibs. He threatens to tell Chibs that Allesandro is double-dipping and that the Mayans have killed Tommy without any repercussions. Allesandro asks Palo to be patient and offers him cash since he’s currently strapped. He turns his back to count it out and Palo makes his move, slipping a plastic bag over Allesandro’s head and suffocating him.
Across the border, Governor Sederica Palomo (Mia Maestro) is driven out to a bridge where three deceased bodies dangle.
Later she meets up with Miguel Galindo (Danny Pino) and informs him three of her staffers were strung up by the Lobos Sonora New Generation. Sederica reminds Miguel he promised they wouldn’t attack her community and that he was supposed to keep them under control. Instead, the Lobos Sonora seem to be emboldened and unafraid of the Galindo cartel.
Elsewhere, EZ does as instructed and visits Alycia in jail. He has flashbacks to his time behind bars as he waits.
Alicia’s surprised EZ’s come for a visit and he claims he’s just checking on how she’s holding up. He reveals he’s put money in her account and then asks if anyone’s talked to her. She claims she’s been all alone and no one has questioned her. Alicia swears she’ll never spill any secrets and assures him that’s exactly what she told Vicki when she came for a visit.
Over at the butcher shop, Gaby (Sulem Calderon) dances and sings as she helps Felipe prepare to reopen. Felipe’s irritated by her choice of music and turns it off, while Gaby reminds him he’s the one who called her for help. She compliments a photo of EZ’s mom and wonders how Felipe landed such a beautiful woman. (Why does she seem more flirtatious and comfortable with Felipe than with EZ? It’s kind of creepy.)
And speaking of creepy things… Butterfly and the leader of the drug ring (JR Bourne) shock Coco when they show up in the garage’s office unexpectedly. The leader shows Coco the photo he took of Coco shooting up, reminding him that’s enough to get him either booted from the club or killed. If Coco supplies him with a kilo of heroin, then he’ll keep Coco’s secret.
“You want me to not get killed by stealing from my club…which will automatically get me killed?!” says Coco who clearly recognizes he’s wedged between a rock and a hard place at this point.
Coco’s warned he has until Friday to get it done.

EZ returns to the clubhouse and tells Bishop that Alicia didn’t talk to the Border Patrol. She’s in general population and if she flipped, she would have been moved to somewhere safer and less accessible.
Miguel returns home to discover Emily (Sarah Bolger) has packed up some of his mother’s belongings. He’s enraged she had the nerve to touch his mother’s belongings, and he screams at her to never do that again.
Emily’s cradling their young son as Miguel explodes in anger inches from her face. He storms away only after Emily’s sister grabs Cristobal and removes him from harm’s way.
Adelita sits under the shower, her emotional scars as fresh as her dozens of bruises. She eventually joins Angel in his bedroom, taking a seat next to him while wrapped in a towel. Angel wants to know what happened to their baby and Adelita doesn’t say anything for a while. She finally responds when Angel asks her to talk to him so he can help her.
She recalls being taken in by a brothel when she was just a child. When they eventually told her she needed to earn her keep by servicing men, she took a knife and cut her own throat. (She copied what she witnessed happen to her mother and father.) Adelita confesses she’d rather be dead than have anyone else control her body.
“You want to know what happened in there with Potter? I couldn’t get my hands on a knife,” she says, finally making eye contact with Angel.
Angel seems unsure of what to say in response.
“You look like a man, Angel, but you’re just a little boy grown tall,” says Adelita.
That evening in bed, Angel asks if their baby was beautiful. Adelita caresses his face and nods yes.
Meanwhile, prospect Steve shows up to escort Vicki (Elpidia Carrillo) to the clubhouse. She asks for a second to grab her purse and hurries out the backdoor, straight into the tunnel. She’s barely inside it when she’s confronted by Creeper (Joseph Raymond Lucero) and Taza. Vicki only has time for a quick intake of breath before Taza shoots her in the head, instantly killing her. (You’ll recall Taza also killed Vicki’s nephew, Riz, in order to start a war with the VM.)
15 minutes left and we’ve arrived at my least favorite part of this particular episode. I have zero interest in the EZ/Gaby relationship, so I’ll briefly sum up what happens over the next eight-ish minutes. The annoyingly sweet Gaby decides EZ isn’t the guy for her and dumps him because he has baggage. Yes! Please let this mean EZ can move on to someone much more interesting. I’m asking nicely…pretty please!
Gilly asks Coco who the people were that came looking for him and Coco claims they were looking for his daughter. He heads into the bathroom and Gilly barges through the closed door just as Coco’s about to snort a line. Gilly, disgusted and upset, tells Coco they’re done.
Taza informs Bishop he killed Vicki. Taza insists it had to be done but it wasn’t easy. Bishop’s confused why, given the fact Riz was their brother, Vicki would go to the cops. He’s angry no one understands loyalty anymore.
Taza confirms they’re set for moving the drugs and asks how Bishop’s doing given that tomorrow is Aidan’s anniversary. (What happened to Aidan?! Inquiring minds want/need to know.) After briefly lashing out in response to that question, Bishop confesses to Taza he needs him now more than ever.
Taza walks outside and finds Allesandro’s dead body draped over a motorcycle. Taza quickly glances around and then lifts a patch with praying hands off of Allesandro’s shirt. He knows Palo is responsible.
Given the series’ consistently high viewership, it’s not surprising CBS has opted to renew Young Sheldon for three more seasons. The just-announced renewal order means the series will be sticking around through at least season seven.
Season four starring Iain Armitage in the title role premiered on November 5, 2020. According to the network, season four has been averaging 9.6 million viewers and ranks as the number one comedy.
In addition to Armitage, the season four cast includes Zoe Perry as Mary, Lance Barber as George Sr., Montana Jordan as Georgie, Raegan Revord as Missy, and Annie Potts as Meemaw.
Young Sheldon was created by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro, with Lorre, Molaro, Jim Parsons, and Todd Spiewak executive producing.
“Under Chuck Lorre’s and Steve Molaro’s deft leadership, this superb cast and gifted writers have truly brought these wonderful characters to life,” stated Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment. “Young Sheldon dominates the broadcast comedy landscape by over +2.5 million viewers and is the lynchpin of CBS’ top-rated Thursday comedy lineup. The humor, warmth, and heart exuded by the Cooper family is an undeniable hook for the millions of fans who tune in each week. We’re excited to see what the next three seasons have in store for a slightly older Sheldon and all the Coopers.”
Series Description, Courtesy of CBS:
For young Sheldon Cooper, it isn’t easy growing up in East Texas. Being a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science isn’t always helpful in a land where church and football are king. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naïve Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him.
His father, George, is struggling to find his way as a high school football coach and as father to a boy he doesn’t understand. Sheldon’s mother, Mary, fiercely protects and nurtures her son in a town where he just doesn’t fit in. Sheldon’s older brother, Georgie, does the best he can in high school, but it’s tough to be cool when you’re in the same classes with your odd younger brother. Sheldon’s twin sister, Missy, sometimes resents all the attention Sheldon gets, but also remains the one person who can reliably tell Sheldon the truth.
Finally, there’s Sheldon’s beloved Meemaw, his foul-mouthed, hard-drinking Texas grandmother who is very supportive of her grandson and his unique gifts.
For 12 years on The Big Bang Theory, audiences have come to know the iconic, eccentric and extraordinary Sheldon Cooper. This single-camera, half-hour comedy allows us the chance to meet him in childhood, as he embarks on his innocent, awkward and hopeful journey toward the man he will become.

A criminal mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in Spiral, the terrifying new chapter from the book of Saw. Working in the shadow of his father, an esteemed police veteran (Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Rock), and his rookie partner (Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past.
Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
This week’s new episode of CBS’s popular primetime drama Blue Bloods finds Frank stuck in a difficult position and needing a little assistance from Erin. Season 11 episode 10, directed by David Barrett from a script by Kevin Riley, will air on Friday, April 2, 2021 at 10pm ET/PT after new episodes of MacGyver and Magnum P.I.
Tom Selleck leads the cast as Frank Reagan, Donnie Wahlberg is Danny Reagan, and Bridget Moynahan plays Erin Reagan. The cast also includes Will Estes as Jamie Reagan, Len Cariou as Henry Reagan, Sami Gayle as Nicky Reagan-Boyle, Marisa Ramirez as Det. Maria Baez, and Vanessa Ray plays Officer Eddie Janko.
“The Common Good” guest stars include Bahar Beihaghi, Joy Jones, Brandon Gilpin, Georgia Warner, Derek Hedlund, and Alex Brightman. Wesley Volcy, Elizabeth Stanley, Christopher Sieber, Jovan Tyler-Graham, and Damian Tirado also guest star.
“The Common Good” Plot: Frank asks Erin to liaise between him and NY Governor Mendez regarding policy reform he privately backs, but can’t publicly support, because it goes against police rank and file. Also, Danny and Baez become enmeshed in the world of competitive gaming when a high-profile video game streamer is murdered, and Eddie and Witten suspect a live-in nanny is being abused after she approaches them on the street for help.
Blue Bloods is a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan is the New York Police Commissioner, and heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry, during his stint as Chief.
A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son, Danny, a seasoned detective, family man and Iraq War vet who on occasion uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his partner, Detective Maria Baez. The Reagan women in the family include middle daughter, Erin, a New York Assistant D.A. who serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father, and is a single parent to her daughter Nicky, who is pursuing a career in San Francisco. Jamie is the youngest Reagan, a Harvard Law graduate and the family’s “golden boy.”
Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie decided to give up a lucrative future in law and follow in the family footsteps as a cop. He’s found a friend and ally in his wife, Eddie, who keeps him on his toes, and has very different reasons than the Reagans for joining the police force. The Reagans welcomed a new family addition after Frank learned his deceased son, officer Joe Reagan, has an adult child they never knew about, a young man who is a rising NYPD cop.
