‘The Blacklist’ Season 8 Episode 1 Preview: Photos, Cast, Plot, and Trailer

NBC’s The Blacklist will return to the network’s primetime schedule on November 13, 2020. With season eight episode one a week away, NBC’s released new photos from “Roanoke” along with a plot description and trailer.

New episodes of season eight will air on Fridays at 8pm ET/PT.

The cast of The Blacklist is led by James Spader as Raymond “Red” Reddington and Megan Boone as Elizabeth Keen. Diego Klattenhoff plays Donald Ressler, Amir Arison is Aram Mojtabai, Hisham Tawfiq is Dembe Zuma, and Harry Lennix stars as Harold Cooper.

“Roanoke” Plot: Red directs the Task Force to investigate Roanoke, a legendary criminal who orchestrates elaborate extractions. Meanwhile, Liz works to hatch a secret plan with her mother, Katarina Rostova (guest star Laila Robins).

With his back against the wall, Raymond Reddington (Spader) faces his most formidable enemy yet: Elizabeth Keen (Boone). Aligned with her mother, infamous Russian spy Katarina Rostova, Liz must decide how far she is willing to go to find out why Reddington has entered her life and what his endgame really is. The fallout between Reddington and Keen will have devastating consequences for all that lie in their wake, including the Task Force they helped to create.

The Outpost continues its season three run on The CW with episode six, “Kill the Rat, Kill the Kinj.” Season three episode six was directed by Jonathan English from a script by Jason Faller and Kynan Griffin and will air on November 12, 2020.

The cast is led by Jessica Green as Talon and includes Jake Stormoen as Captain Garret Spears, Imogen Waterhouse as Gwynn Calkussar/Rosmund, Anand Desai-Barochia as Janzo, and Aaron Fontaine as Tobin. Reece Ritchie plays Zed, Izuka Hoyle is Wren, Jaye Griffiths is Yavalla, Georgia May Foote is Falista, and Adam Johnson as Munt.

“Kill the Rat, Kill the Kinj” Plot: LET ME LEAD – Talon (Green) sets up a sanctuary for the infected while Janzo (Desai-Barochia) and Wren (Hoyle) conduct research to find a cure. Garret (Stormoen) investigates a cult using human sacrifices.

After summoning Zed (Ritchie) and his Blackblood comrades to save the Outpost, Talon (Green) finds herself betrayed by her own kind and struggles to reconcile her human friends and her Blackblood heritage. With the demonic Lu Qiri providing the muscle to enforce Zed’s master plan, the Outpost’s human inhabitants are enslaved as miners in search of a mysterious substance to solve a dark riddle.

From her bedroom under house arrest, Gwynn (Waterhouse) plots her escape and the overthrow of her new foes. To save her beloved Garret (Stormoen), Talon is forced to summon a Blackblood Priestess named Yavalla (Griffiths) into the world. Yavalla prophesies a paradise for Blackbloods, and an era of peace for the world, but she soon discovers a power that threatens every living creature.

As Gwynn and Tobin (Fontaine) become Yavalla’s unwilling allies, Talon and her friends must fight, suffer, and sacrifice their way to save each other and vanquish their new enemies. As Talon discovers more about her lost family from Yavalla, she must piece together the truths from the lies, and solve the mystery of her heritage and a forgotten power, before the world becomes enslaved to a new power that could consume every living being.

Season five of NBC’s This Is Us reflects the current state of the country, wi
th Covid-19 and systemic racism prominent issues in episodes one and two. Season five episode three, “Changes,” continues to address important issues and is set to air on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 9pm ET/PT.

‘The Bachelorette’ Taps Tayshia Adams to Take Over Season 16

ABC The Bachelorette shakes things up with its first-ever mid-season bachelorette. Season 16’s Clare Crawley got engaged to Dale Moss, effectively ending her time as this season’s bachelorette. Enter fan favorite Tayshia Adams as the new star of The Bachelorette season 16.

Adams made her debut as The Bachelorette star last night, with her journey to fall in love set to begin in earnest on the Tuesday, November 10, 2020 episode.

Tayshia Adams was a contestant on season 23 of The Bachelor as well as season six of Bachelor in Paradise.

Bachelor Nation first welcomed Tayshia on the 23rd season of The Bachelor, where a sudden turn of events ended her relationship with a tearful and unexpected goodbye. ‘CMA Awards’ Adds Justin Bieber, Keith Urban and Jason Aldean as Performers

 

CMA Awards HostsThe second batch of performers has been announced for the upcoming 54th Annual CMA Awards set to air on November 11, 2020 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC. Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Ingrid Andress, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay with Justin Bieber, Jenee Fleenor, Little Big Town, Old Dominion, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce and Lee Brice, Keith Urban, and Morgan Wallen are confirmed to take the stage during the Country music celebration.

“We couldn’t be more excited to bring all of these incredible performances to life next Wednesday night and give our artists the chance to come together, in a big way, on television for the first time in months,” said Robert Deaton, CMA Awards Executive Producer. “As safety is our top priority, we have worked tirelessly over the past several months to fully transform Music City Center into a breathtaking setup that resembles the very first ‘CMA Awards Banquet & Show’ from 1967 and ensures our nominees, performers and their guests a fully safe and physically distant environment. We are honored, in this very challenging time, to help provide an escape and deliver a live awards show experience unlike any other this year.”

The Country Music Association announced Brothers Osborne, Jenee Fleenor, Ashley McBryde, Jason Aldean, and Dierks Bentley will collaborate to perform what’s described as an “epic, multi-song show opening tribute” to the late Charlie Daniels.

Dan + Shay will team up with Justin Bieber to perform their three-time nominated song “10,000 Hours.” The performance will mark the song’s world television premiere. Keith Urban is set to entertain country fans with “God Whispered Your Name,” performed in Australia.

Jimmie Allen will sing “Best Shot” and will present the 2020 CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award to the legendary Charley Pride. Little Big Town will pay tribute to Kenny Rogers, while Jon Pardi’s performance will honor Joe Diffie.

The 40th anniversary of Urban Cowboy will be celebrated with a special performance of “Looking for Love” by Old Dominion. Ingrid Andress will sing “More Hearts Than Mine,” Morgan Wallen is set to sing “More Than My Hometown,” and Carly Pearce and Lee Brice will sing “I Hope You’re Happy Now.”

‘L.A.’s Finest’ Season 1 Episode 7: Photos: Preview of “Book of Secrets”

Season one of the police drama L.A.’s Finest continues with episode seven, “Book of Secrets.” Season one episode seven will air on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 8pm ET/PT on Fox.

The cast is led by Jessica Alba as Nancy McKenna and Gabrielle Union as Sydney Burnett. Duane Martin plays Ben Baines, Zach Gilford is Ben Walker, Ryan McPartlin is Patrick McKenna, Sophie Reynolds is Isabel McKenna, and Ernie Hudson plays Joseph Burnett. Alba and Union also executive produce.

“Book of Secrets” Plot: As Syd and McKenna’s hunt for Knox comes to a head, they finally let the Bens in on their search into the past. Meanwhile, Syd deals with a complicated family crisis, while McKenna is left with a difficult choice between her past and her future.

‘LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special’ Debuts a New Trailer and Poster

Looking for something to take your mind off the craziness of the world? Disney+ is serving up a new trailer for the upcoming LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, a trailer that’ll serve as a diversion for a minute and a half – or more, if you watch it over and over again. The trailer finds Star Wars fan favorites traveling through time and even encountering younger/older versions of themselves. Baby Yoda even puts in an appearance!

Disney+ also released a new poster in support of the holiday special’s November 17, 2020 premiere.

Voice cast members include Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico, Billy Dee Williams as Lando Calrissian, and Anthony Daniels as C-3PO. Star Wars: The Clone WarsMatt Lanter voices Anakin Skywalker, Tom Kane is Yoda and Qui-Gon Jinn, James Arnold Taylor voices Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Dee Bradley Baker handles the voices of the clone troopers.

Ken Cunningham directed from a screenplay by David Shayne. James Waugh, Josh Rimes, Jason Cosler, Jacqui Lopez, Jill Wilfert and Keith Malone served as executive producers. The holiday special’s a Atomic Cartoons, the LEGO Group, and Lucasfilm production.

‘Chicago Fire’ Season 9 Episode 1 Preview: Photos, Cast, and Plot Details

NBC’s Chicago Fire returns to kick off season nine with episode one, airing on November 11, 2020. New photos have just been released for the upcoming season premiere, “Rattle Second City,” which airs in the 9pm ET/PT timeslot on Wednesdays between season six of Chicago Med and season eight of Chicago P.D..

The cast includes Jesse Spencer as Captain Matthew Casey, Taylor Kinney as Lt. Kelly Severide, Eamonn Walker as Battalion Chief Wallace Boden, Kara Killmer as Sylvie Brett, and David Eigenberg as Christopher Herrmann. Christian Stolte plays Randy “Mouch” McHolland, Miranda Rae Mayo is Stella Kidd, Joe Minoso is Joe Cruz, Alberto Rosende plays Blake Gallo, Daniel Kyri is Darren Ritter, and Adriyan Rae plays Gianna Mackey.

ABC Announces Its Holiday Primetime Lineup

The Great Christmas Light Fight

ABC’s apparently in the mood to start spreading cheer, announcing its year-end holiday programming lineup. The network’s set air dates for special holiday-themed episodes of The Goldbergs, black-ish and General Hospital, as well as the return of The Great Christmas Light Fight.

ABC’s holiday programming begins in earnest on Thanksgiving with Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, Toy Story That Time Forgot, and The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration. The holiday fun will finish up with Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Celebration arriving on Christmas.

Olaf’s Frozen Adventure – In Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, Olaf teams up with Sven on a merry mission. It’s the first holiday season since the gates reopened and Anna and Elsa host a celebration for all of Arendelle. When the townspeople unexpectedly leave early to enjoy their individual holiday customs, the sisters realize they have no family traditions of their own. So, Olaf sets out to comb the kingdom to bring home the best traditions and save Anna and Elsa’s “first Christmas in forever.”

Toy Story That Time Forgot – Pixar Animation Studios’ special for television, Toy Story That Time Forgot, features everyone’s favorite characters from the Toy Story films. During a post-Christmas play date, the Toy Story gang finds themselves in uncharted territory when the coolest set of action figures ever turn out to be dangerously delusional. It’s all up to Trixie the triceratops if the gang hopes to return to Bonnie’s room in this Toy Story That Time Forgot.

The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration – Kicking off the holiday season on ABC for its fifth consecutive year, this magical celebration on Thanksgiving night features a look back on spectacular celebrity musical performances among a flurry of Disney holiday entertainment.

Disney Prep & Landing – Walt Disney Animation Studios brings you a half-hour holiday special tale of an elite unit of elves known as Prep & Landing. After working tirelessly on Prep & Landing for 227 years, an elf named Wayne is upset when he doesn’t receive an expected promotion to be the Director of Naughty List Intelligence. Instead, Magee, the North Pole Christmas Eve Command Center Coordinator (NPCECCC for short), partners Wayne with Lanny, an idealistic rookie who has an undying enthusiasm for Christmas. During their Christmas Eve mission, Wayne and Lanny encounter unexpected challenges that push them to their limits. Will the elves be able to guide Dasher, Dancer and the rest of the reindeer pulling Santa’s sleigh through a raging snowstorm to ensure a merry Christmas for all?

Disney Prep & Landing 2: Naughty vs. Nice – The yuletide adventures of Christmas elves Lanny and Wayne continue. MONDAY, NOV. 30
General Hospital – Chasing tradition and relishing in the fact that she has unusually unfettered access to the Quartermaine kitchen, Olivia strives to create the perfect traditional Thanksgiving feast for the family and their guests. Meanwhile, Sam and Carly’s mutual contempt fades to an unlikely moment of friendship as they discuss the paths their lives have taken supporting those they love. Brando gives Sasha the support she needs, while Ava wonders if her aspirations of having a happy family can be salvaged. Monica reminds everyone just how much they have to be thankful for in the face of the challenges they’ve encountered, and the arrival of an unexpected guest proves to be the pleasant surprise everyone needs to experience the joy of the holiday.

The Disney Holiday Singalong – Returning for a third iteration, The Disney Holiday Singalong will feature more music and magic just in time for the holidays. The one-hour festive musical event will feature star-studded performances, animated on-screen lyrics, more favorite Disney melodies and classic holiday songs.

CMA Country Christmas returns for its 11th year. Filmed in Nashville, the special features some of country music’s most beloved artists coming together for an intimate night full of holiday classics. Host and performers will be announced at a later date.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 2
The Goldbergs – “Hanukkah On The Seas” – Pop-Pop surprises the family with an ill-advised winter cruise to Canada. Meanwhile, Erica stirs up holiday trouble at home on an all-new Hanukkah-themed episode.

black-ish – “Compton Around the Christmas Tree” – Dre realizes he’s out of touch with his roots after Junior claims he’s turned into a “valley dad,” so he takes the family to his hometown of Compton. Meanwhile, Bow tries to teach Jack and Diane about the spirit of giving by having them volunteer in Compton for Christmas on black-ish.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 9
The Great Christmas Light Fight – Season Premiere – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas as ABC’s tree-mendously popular decorating competition series, The Great Christmas Light Fight, takes over Wednesdays in December as it returns for its eighth season with back-to-back episodes. America’s brightest houses bring joy to the world with the help of celebrity judges – lifestyle expert Carter Oosterhouse and famed interior designer Taniya Nayak. All isn’t always calm, but all is definitely bright as the Christmas classic takes viewers across the country to the most elaborate and awe-inspiring holiday displays in the nation.

This holiday season, we will once again see four fantastic families face off in each one-hour episode and compete to win $50,000 should they “sleigh” the competition. Taking Christmas decorating to another level, the Heavyweights special will return for its third year featuring a first-ever parade of one-of-a-kind sparkling floats and a mile-long drive-through with over a million synchronized lights, to name a few, that viewers will never forget.

FRIDAY, DEC. 18
“Shrek the Halls” – DreamWorks Animation’s “Shrek the Halls,” a half-hour of entertainment starring America’s favorite ogre and his friends, features the voices of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas. Just when Shrek thought he could finally sit back, relax and enjoy his happily ever after with his new family, the most joyous of all holidays arrives. It’s Christmas Eve and everyone is filled with holiday cheer – except for Shrek. He isn’t exactly the picture of yuletide joy, but for the sake of Fiona and the kids, he tries to get into the spirit of things as only an ogre can. Unfortunately, everyone seems to have their own ideas about what Christmas is all about, so when Donkey, Puss In Boots, Gingerbread Man and the whole gang try to join in on the fun, Shrek’s plans for a cozy family celebration end up spiraling into one truly unforgettable Christmas. WEDNESDAY, DEC. 23
General Hospital – As holiday celebrations begin in Port Charles, Carly and Jason return to Sonny’s house to find that in her absence Michael and Joss have stepped up and added all the finishing traditional touches for a beautiful multigenerational family Christmas at home. The holidays make various losses felt in new ways, and Maxie looks to honor someone who can’t be with them. Consequences from past decisions are coming to bear – and several of our PC residents hope for the best but fear the worst. However, the holidays also provide opportunities for heart-to-heart talks, forgiveness, unexpected connections and long-awaited reunions.

The Greatest Showman – Network Broadcast Premiere – An original musical inspired by the life of P.T. Barnum, starring Hugh Jackman. Barnum was a visionary who rose from nothing to create the “Greatest Show on Earth,” a spectacle and celebration of his larger-than-life imagination that captivated audiences around the globe.

‘A Million Little Things’ Season 3 Episode 1 Photos, Plot Details and Cast

ABC’s set a November 19, 2020 premiere date for season three of the popular primetime drama, A Million Little Things. In support of its upcoming premiere, the network’s just released new photos from season three episode one which was directed by Nina Lopez-Corrado from a script by DJ Nash and Michelle Leibel.

New season three episodes air on Thursdays at 10pm ET/PT.

The cast of season three includes David Giuntoli as Eddie Saville, Romany Malco as Rome Howard, Allison Miller as Maggie Bloom, Christina Moses as Regina Howard, Grace Park as Katherine Saville, and James Roday Rodriguez as Gary Mendez. Stephanie Szostak is Delilah Dixon, Floriana Lima is Darcy Cooper, Tristan Byon is Theo Saville, Lizzy Greene as Sophie Dixon and Chance Hurstfield as Danny Dixon.

Guest stars include Chris Geere as Jamie, Gerard Plunkett as Reverend Stewart, and Greta Carew-Johns as Cassie.

“hit & run” Plot: In the aftermath of Eddie’s car accident, Katherine leans on their beloved group of friends for support. Meanwhile, Rome and Regina face a tough decision about the future of their family, and Delilah sees how her kids are thriving and wants the same for herself. Maggie jump starts her new life in Oxford, while Gary continues to navigate his new relationship with Darcy on the season premiere.
