“Redemption” Plot: Frank must decide whether the department can accommodate a request to remain in the field from Detective Allison Mulaney (Stroker), a lauded cop who is wheelchair-bound after being wounded in the line of duty. Also, Erin is conflicted by the weight of her authority in the sentencing of a man guilty of vehicular homicide, Danny and Baez pursue a rideshare rapist and Jamie and Eddie team up to aid a fellow officer when his partner is shot on the job.

Series Description, Courtesy of CBS:

Blue Bloods is a drama about a multi-generational family of cops dedicated to New York City law enforcement. Frank Reagan is the New York Police Commissioner, and heads both the police force and the Reagan brood. He runs his department as diplomatically as he runs his family, even when dealing with the politics that plagued his unapologetically bold father, Henry, during his stint as Chief.

A source of pride and concern for Frank is his eldest son, Danny, a seasoned detective, family man and Iraq War vet who on occasion uses dubious tactics to solve cases with his partner, Detective Maria Baez. The Reagan women in the family include middle daughter, Erin, a New York Assistant D.A. who serves as the legal compass for her siblings and father, and is a single parent to her daughter Nicky, who is pursuing a career in San Francisco. Jamie is the youngest Reagan, a Harvard Law graduate and the family’s “golden boy.”

Unable to deny the family tradition, Jamie decided to give up a lucrative future in law and follow in the family footsteps as a cop. He’s found a friend and ally in his wife, Eddie, who keeps him on his toes, and has very different reasons than the Reagans for joining the police force. The Reagans welcomed a new family addition after Frank learned his deceased son, officer Joe Reagan, has an adult child they never knew about, a young man who is a rising NYPD cop.

‘The Flight Attendant’ with Kaley Cuoco is Renewed for Season 2

The Flight Attendant Kaley Cuoco

The Flight Attendant isn’t grounded just yet. Although it was originally listed as a “limited series,” HBO Max isn’t ready to say goodbye quite yet. The critically acclaimed series has, justifiably, earned a second season.

Series star Kaley Cuoco executive produces along with Greg Berlanti, Kaley Cuoco, Steve Yockey, and Sarah Schechter. The comedic thriller is a Yes, Norman Productions (Cuoco’s company), Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television production.

“To say that I am elated would be an understatement! The positive response to our show has surpassed all of our expectations and I’m so proud of the entire team behind its success,” stated Cuoco. “I’m thrilled to continue my partnership with Team Berlanti, Steve Yockey, HBO Max and of course my beloved studio, Warner Bros. I have amazing partners in Suzanne McCormack and Mackenzie Shade at Yes, Norman Prods., where we are committed to delivering diverse and quality entertainment, including an exciting (and probably a little crazy) TFA season 2!!”

In addition to Cuoco, season one stars Michiel Huisman, Rosie Perez, Zosia Mamet, Michelle Gomez, T.R. Knight, Colin Woodell, Merle Dandridge, Griffin Matthews, and Nolan Gerard Funk.

“We are delighted that the show has resonated so strongly with audiences and critics,” said Casey Bloys, Chief Content Officer, HBO and HBO Max. “We congratulate Kaley, Steve, Greg and Sarah, along with the rest of the incredibly talented cast, executive producers and our partners at Warner Bros. Television on all the success of the first season. I look forward to seeing where Cassie will go next.”

Season one premiered on November 18, 2020 and proved to be incredibly popular, with ratings improving each week of its eight-episode run.

“We could not be more pleased to embark on another adventure with our incredible partners at Yes, Norman, Kaley and Suzanne, our wonderful creator Steve Yockey, as well as our collaborators at WBTV and HBO Max,” said executive producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter. “We are thrilled that people have responded so positively to our beloved show, and in particular Kaley Cuoco’s incredible, tour de force performance.”

Season one concluded on December 17, 2020. There’s no word yet on when we can expect season two to arrive. HBO Max teased the second season will feature Cassie in a new adventure.

The Flight Attendant Season 1 Description, Courtesy of HBO Max:

Season one was based on the novel of the same name by New York Times bestselling author Chris Bohjalian and told the story of how an entire life can change in one night. Flight attendant “Cassie Bowden” (Cuoco) woke up in the wrong hotel, in the wrong bed, with a dead man – and no idea what happened.

‘Snowfall’ Season 4 and ‘Hip Hop Uncovered’ Premiere in February 2021

Snowfall Season 4 Poster

FX has set a February 24, 2021 premiere date for season four of Snowfall. The critically acclaimed drama will air on Wednesdays at 10pm ET/PT on FX and will then will be available the following day on FX on Hulu.

Season four episodes one and two will premiere on Feb. 24th. Per FX, season four will consist of 10 episodes.

John Singleton, Eric Amadio, and Dave Andron created the series and serve as executive producers with Thomas Schlamme, Michael London, Trevor Engelson, Leonard Chang, Walter Mosley, and Julie DeJoie. In addition, Andron is the showrunner.

The official season four premiere date announcement included details on the upcoming season:

“Business is booming in season four of Snowfall. It’s January 1, 1985. Ronald Reagan has won his re-election campaign proclaiming it is ‘morning again in America,’ but in South Central, Los Angeles, it feels more like the sun is getting low. The demand for crack cocaine is high, and while our crew of dealers led by Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) are benefitting greatly from the rising tide of addiction, they are also starting to become aware of the damage the drug is doing to the people and to the place they love.

With the entire nation taking note, the LAPD is diverting serious money and resources to the ‘war on drugs.’ Politicians’ phones are ringing. Powerful people are concerned, from the hallways of The White House to those of CIA headquarters, where there are whispers that one of their own may be involved in this burgeoning epidemic.”

The new documentary series Hip Hop Uncovered will join FX’s primetime lineup on Friday, February 12, 2021. The six-part series will drop two new episodes each week, with each episode available the following day on FX on Hulu.

Hip Hop Uncovered is executive produced by Malcolm Spellman, Rashidi Natara Harper, Eugene “Big U” Henley, Jimmy “JimBob” Chris, Douglas Banker, and BJ Levin.

Per the official synopsis:

“From executive producer Malcolm Spellman and Oscar and Emmy-winning production company Lightbox, comes Hip Hop Uncovered, an examination of a dying breed of power brokers who operate from the shadows of hip hop. Set against 40 years of music history, this six-part documentary series, directed by Rashidi Natara Harper, takes a deep dive into the paradox of America’s criminalization of the genre and its fascination with the street culture that created it and still exists within it.

Instead of telling the story of hip hop from the top down, Hip Hop Uncovered tells the story from the streets up, as it reveals the untold story of how America’s streets helped shape hip hop culture from an expression of survival and defiance into music’s most dominant genre.”
