Global K-pop superstars BTS revealed “Life Goes On” will be the lead single off of their upcoming album, BE (Deluxe Edition), to be released on November 20, 2020.
According to their label Big Hit Entertainment, the new album delivers a message of healing to the world by declaring, “Even in the face of this new normality, our life goes on.” BE (Deluxe Edition) reflects the thoughts, emotions, and deepest ruminations of BTS who have been actively involved in all aspects of the creative process for their upcoming record.
The new album arrives on the heels of their record-breaking single “Dynamite” which, among other honors, topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for three non-consecutive weeks.
As always, the band and Big Hit are being very tight-lipped about the new album. While details on BE are few thus far, earlier this week BTS members rolled out postcards to fans. “I realized once again during our concert (online) that singing and dancing in front of ARMY is the reason I exist,” member Jungkook wrote. They finished their notes by asking their fans questions such as, “What makes you the happiest?” And, “What are the words that give you comfort?”
It wasn’t in the least bit surprising that shortly after the postcards were released the hashtag #TO_BTS started to trend worldwide as fans responded to their postcards with heartfelt messages.
In addition to teasing “Life Goes On,” BTS announced they’ll perform the single for the first time at the 2020 American Music Awards to be held on November 22nd. The group will also be performing their smash hit “Dynamite” during the awards show. BTS’ performance is the first, and so far only, announcement from the awards show on performers who’ll be hitting the stage to entertain fans. Additional performers should be announced soon.
BTS made their AMAs debut back in 2017. With the performance of their title track, “DNA,” BTS became the first Korean group to perform during the American Music Awards. This year they’re up for two awards at the AMAs: Favorite Duo or Group – pop/rock and Favorite Social Artist.
LISTEN UP, ARMY! @BTS_twt will make the TV debut of their highly anticipated new single, and perform their record breaking hit “Dynamite” at the 2020 #AMAs! Don't miss it, November 22nd at 8/7c on ABC. pic.twitter.com/K7N62Jx3J7
Fox has officially picked up the comedy series This Country for the 2021-2022 season. This Country, based on BBC’s critically acclaimed series by Daisy Cooper and Charlie Cooper, comes from writer Jenny Bicks (Sex and the City) and director Paul Feig (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist).

In Jenny, Paul, Lionsgate and BBC Studios, we have the perfect team to help us do just that.”
The docu-comedy marks Fox’s first 2021-2022 new series committment.
“Jenny and I are SO EXCITED to bring this amazing series to the American public. We have assembled a cast of comedic superstars who have taken the hilarious groundwork laid by Daisy and Charlie Cooper and made it their own. Chelsea Holmes, Sam Straley, Seann William Scott, Aya Cash, Taylor Ortega, Krystal Smith, and Justin Linville will star in season one.
“We’re proud to continue to see the fruits of our powerful collaboration,” stated BBC Studios Managing Director of International Production & Formats Matt Forde and Lionsgate Television Group Chairman Kevin Beggs. “This Country has all the ingredients to be FOX’s next hit premium docu-comedy – an incredible director in Paul, a very talented writer in Jenny and an amazing cast. We can’t wait to bring the adaptation of this BBC hit to U.S. audiences and continue the strong momentum of our partnership.”
The series will be a Lionsgate, BBC Studios’ Los Angeles production arm, FOX Entertainment and Feigco Entertainment co-production. Bicks, Feig, Angie Stephenson, Charlie Cooper, and Daisy May Cooper are executive producing.

In the half-hour series, a documentary crew goes to a small town to study young adults and their current concerns. Their focus is the daily lives of cousins Kelly (Holmes) and Shrub Mallet (Straley) and their idiosyncratic surroundings.
The CW’s just released new photos from the next episode of The Outpost. Season three episode five, “Under Yavalla’s Control,” was directed by Orsi Nagypal from a script by Laura Whang and will air November 5, 2020.
The cast is led by Jessica Green as Talon and includes Jake Stormoen as Captain Garret Spears, Imogen Waterhouse as Gwynn Calkussar/Rosmund, Anand Desai-Barochia as Janzo, and Aaron Fontaine as Tobin. Reece Ritchie plays Zed, Izuka Hoyle is Wren, Jaye Griffiths is Yavalla, Georgia May Foote is Falista, and Adam Johnson as Munt.
“Under Yavalla’s Control” Plot: A THREAT TO THE MISSION – Tobin (Fontaine) returns to the Outpost with an army – and a secret. Talon (Green) presses for answers and a fight in the Throne Room ends in death, imprisonment and a new commander of the Outpost.
After summoning Zed (Ritchie) and his Blackblood comrades to save the Outpost, Talon (Green) finds herself betrayed by her own kind and struggles to reconcile her human friends and her Blackblood heritage. With the demonic Lu Qiri providing the muscle to enforce Zed’s master plan, the Outpost’s human inhabitants are enslaved as miners in search of a mysterious substance to solve a dark riddle.
From her bedroom under house arrest, Gwynn (Waterhouse) plots her escape and the overthrow of her new foes. To save her beloved Garret (Stormoen), Talon is forced to summon a Blackblood Priestess named Yavalla (Griffiths) into the world. Yavalla prophesies a paradise for Blackbloods, and an era of peace for the world, but she soon discovers a power that threatens every living creature.
As Gwynn and Tobin (Fontaine) become Yavalla’s unwilling allies, Talon and her friends must fight, suffer, and sacrifice their way to save each other and vanquish their new enemies. As Talon discovers more about her lost family from Yavalla, she must piece together the truths from the lies, and solve the mystery of her heritage and a forgotten power, before the world becomes enslaved to a new power that could consume every living being.
It’s about time that The CW’s Supernatural felt like things were getting big in scale, and Season 15 episode 17, “Unity,” certainly reflected that grand feel the final season has so far lacked.
Amara (Emily Swallow) is shown enjoying herself in a pool in Iceland (it’s good to see characters ditch the USA for once and actually see the world) when she sees the sky light up with shooting stars. Chuck is back after destroying all the other universes.
At the Men of Letters HQ, Sam (Jared Padalecki) is giving Dean (Jensen Ackles) the silent treatment for his plan to use Jack’s death to kill Chuck. Dean’s still a giant bag of jerk and becomes more motivated when Amara shows up and tells the brothers to proceed with the plan. Of course, she’s still under the impression that Dean genuinely wants to help her rather than his true plan of killing her.
Sam refuses to leave for Santa Fe, where Amara’s directed them to, because he wants to find another way and save Jack. Dean tries his angry schtick, and when that doesn’t work, outright tells Sam that he doesn’t mind giving up on family because, to him, Jack isn’t family. While he claims he does care somewhat for Jack, he’s not the same for Dean as Sam and Castiel are. That’s too bad, as Jack (Alexander Calvert) walks in and hears it. True to his nature, he doesn’t mind and leaves with Dean.
In a good way of presenting the framing device of the episode, the points of view are separated between the characters. The Amara sequence shows her reuniting with Chuck (Rob Benedict). He reveals he didn’t write the connection Amara feels to Dean and is flabbergasted why she wants to convince him not to destroy his world.
Amara tries to change his mind by taking him to Heaven to see the angels fanboying over Chuck (seriously, what the heck happened to the storyline about Heaven being near destruction due to the lack of angels?). This doesn’t work as Chuck is over being worshipped. Faced with no choice, Amara takes him to the HQ and traps him there with herself until Dean and Jack are done with their mission.
In the Dean sequence, he tries to make excuses to Jack over what he heard but the latter tells him he understands that Dean doesn’t see him as important as his family. In Santa Fe, the two reach their location to find Adam (Alessandro Juliani). Yes, the first human, and the guy turns out to be a hippie who’s been shacking up for 300,000 years or so with his angel girlfriend, Serafina (Carmen Moore).
The last test turns out to be really simple, in that all Jack has to do is identify a crystal that God has touched. He answers correctly that it’s all of them since God created everything. Adam is ecstatic, claiming he’s been plotting Chuck’s demise all this time to get payback for being kicked out of Eden. To complete the ritual, Serafina stabs Adam and rips out his rib. Apparently, this is the ingredient needed to complete Jack into being a living black hole that can suck divine beings like Chuck and Amara into himself.
On the drive back, Dean comes up with a gratitude of sorts where he thanks Jack for his sacrifice because his death will mean Sam and Dean can now be free of Chuck. If the show wanted it to feel genuine the attempt failed because Dean just seemed like he was trying to gain sympathy for his selfish needs.
In the Sam sequence, he’s gotten pretty frustrated by going nowhere and is comforted by Castiel (Misha Collins). The “Destiel” fans can beat it for all I care, Sam and Castiel (Sasstiel?) is a far better combo. They come to the realization that they can talk to Billie and learn if this plan truly is the only way. Remembering Sergei’s mention of a key to Death’s library within the HQ, the two find it so Sam can go and talk to Billie.
When he enters, though, Sam finds a bunch of dead people, who are perhaps Reapers, being killed by the Empty who’s still using Meg’s form. She reveals that Billie’s entire plan is to become the new God and seal everything away in its own realm.
Sam is almost killed by the Empty when the latter figures taking his life will summon Billie who’s been ignoring the Empty. Thinking fast, Sam claims Billie was the one who sent him since she can’t leave Earth. As the Empty can’t go to Earth, it relents and lets Sam take Chuck’s death book so that Billie will honor her promise to the Empty about sending it back to sleep like it wants. When he returns, he realizes Dean has already brought Jack back and the final ritual has already been completed. It’s time for Jack to face Chuck and Amara.
Dean, confirming how he’s gone full psycho, goes so far as to beating Sam and being willing to shoot him if he doesn’t move out of the way. Sam tries to reason with him by telling Dean about Billie’s plan, but Dean only cares about killing Chuck so he has no problem with whatever else happens. As for me, I’ve no idea why Castiel doesn’t slap Dean into oblivion with his angelic powers instead of just staring at him while he’s beating Sam up.
During their captivity, Chuck reveals to his sister that Dean’s planning to kill her. He also confesses that all of this was his plan. That’s right, God is omniscient after all and he knew everything the heroes had been planning the whole time. Now, all he wants to see is Dean kill his family. Shocked and hurt, Amara is convinced by her brother to be part of a new creation. Amara lets Chuck absorb her, which empowers him enough to break out of the room.
Dean eventually does budge under the puppy eye stare of Sam’s, agreeing to find another way. Chuck’s angry that another one of his planned endings hasn’t panned out. He admonishes Castiel for being the only version of the many he created that rebelled and didn’t follow orders like he wanted.
Chuck is done with Sam and Dean for always ruining his plans but finds consolation in the fact that Jack is now dying. He then leaves after pointing this out as Jack collapses and seems to be on the verge of exploding.
To be honest, I’m not too shook up by the conclusion since Chuck has claimed several times before that he’s done but comes back – the same way we’ve seen countless times where Dean seems to let go of his incessant rage but reverts to being a jerk again. Still, at least the episode ended on a note that guarantees a continuation and I think this might extend all the way till the finale.

Details on Trickster:
Based on the best-selling novel Son of a Trickster by Eden Robinson and created by award-winning filmmaker Michelle Latimer and Tony Elliott, Trickster stars newcomer Joel Oulette as Jared, an Indigenous teen struggling to keep his dysfunctional family above water, but when he starts seeing strange things — talking ravens, doppelgängers, skin monsters — his already chaotic life is turned upside down.
More on Walker:
Walker, a reimagining of the long-running series Walker, Texas Ranger, stars Jared Padalecki as Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two with his own moral code, who returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years, only to discover there’s harder work to be done at home. He’ll attempt to reconnect with his creative and thoughtful son (Kale Culley) and his headstrong, somewhat rebellious teenaged daughter (Violet Brinson) and navigate clashes with his family – an ADA brother (Keegan Allen) who stepped in during Walker’s absence, his perceptive mother (Molly Hagen) and his traditional rancher father (Mitch Pileggi).
Walker’s former colleague is now his Ranger Captain, (Coby Bell). Walker finds unexpected common ground with his new partner (one of the first women in Texas Rangers’ history) played by Lindsey Morgan, while growing increasingly suspicious about the circumstances surrounding his wife’s death. The show also stars Jeff Pierre as Trey Barnett.

“We are thrilled to have this incredible group of artists taking the stage at the CMA Awards this year! It is a privilege to bring these live performances to our viewing audience with the energy and excitement that the CMA Awards are known for,” stated Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer. “And although the show will feel a bit more intimate this year, we look forward to hosting our nominated artists and their guests as we celebrate the best of Country Music in a fully safe and physically distant environment. It will be an honor to bring the biggest Country stars in the world together – in one room – for the first time this year. You won’t want to miss it!”
The Country Music Association announced the performers and confirmed the songs and collaborations set for this year’s show:
